Stu smiled as he heard the words of Unfettered, motivating even though Stu found them to be a bit wordy. Suddenly they were both there, Delilah and Unfettered, and then the call to charge. He grip the sword, and rushed off after his beloved.
She cleaved a man in two, and bowled over the one behind him. Another man tried to attack from behind, but Stu was there, his sword flashing as it cut the enemies baton in two, to which the astonished man had only a second to stare at incredulously before the cut back occurred, his throat opening in a spray of gore that threatened to bath both of them. Had either of them been there.
Instead, Stu moved onto the next, keeping himself to her back, fending off two or three attackers at times but never letting any get behind Del. She was a fury in her own right; her technical prowess was unmatched as she parried and writhed around blades in a deadly dance describable only as art. Stu's own swings were haggard, as much clumsy as they were destructive. Four men all attacked him, and this finally separated him from her back. He watched out of the corner of his eye as she lopped off a man's head, and then coolly moved on.
She's probably fine. She's in her element.
The blows continued, a parry overhead strike that would've split his skull from its strength, into a backside parry to stop from the bruising of his kidneys. Two came on at once and Stu swept hard, his sword shattering one baton, and embedding in the next, even as the shrapnel pierced the other's arm. Stu kicked as soon as he felt the sword stick, pulling the weapon out of the guy's hand. He whirled after the man, distancing himself from the others, even as he pulled the baton out. He was now ready to rock.
The first guy came on and Stu deftly blocked his swing, at the same time bringing his own baton around and cracking it off of the soldier's face. The baton came back sticky, blood oozing from the man's ears even as he twitched once before going completely still. The next two came at the same time.
Stu blocked the first thrust, twisting to his left, leaving him on their flank. His twirl ended with a sped up pirouette, slicing into the ribcage of the one he blocked, killing him even as he brought the other baton up, hurling it with all his might at the other soldier, the heavy piece of metal bouncing off of his head.
Stu didn't wait to see if it had any effect. He closed quickly, impaling the man on his sword before any sort of defense could be put up. He smirked even as he pulled the blade away, kicking him over. He turned, and looked for his beloved. He thought he glimpsed her, but his vision was rocked as a blinding light washed over the battlefield.
The trucks. Ahh zee German.
The ring of fire would be huge, and unfightable to the reinforcing Barker soldiers. If enough heroes showed up to this fight, they could win it before any real damage was sustained.
He parried a blade even as he thought, his wrist flicking back and sliding up under and through the assaulting trooper's throat, his hands grasping at the blade even as it ended his life. He slid off as Stu flicked the sword again to shake off the blood. He pulled the trigger on the sword and the rear blade flicked out just as another trooper snuck up from behind, and Stu threw his arm in a pinwheel as forcefully as he could, catching the assaulter in the groin. He grasped as well, but Stu withdrew and whirled around, the soldiers head sailing off in an arc.
"We gotta end this now." He said to no one in particular, but anyone listening over the radio.
He charged off to look for Del.

As Barker's forces neared, Kiyoshi's grip tightened on his sword handle. With one solid swing of his blade, he sent a wave of wind into the front lines of Barker's forces. It would strike as far along as he could get it to reach. The blow would stumble the charge and halt their momentum before contact possibly also causing back lines to crash into the forward lines.
However this wouldn't be permanent as Barker's troops would be able to continue. Kiyoshi would keep the 5 heavy infantry and melee with him as he second power of his weapon activated, shadows enveloping them all. With that, they would push forward into Barker's ranks. The 5 heavy infantryman would take the lead, spears stabbing out in sequence from left to right. Any hit would be followed by three more thrusts. Meanwhile the melee would guard the rear, smashing any enemy that veered in.
The rest of the Crows would... give way, letting Barker's surge push them back. It was part of the plan as the Calvary waited to strike. Once a lane was cleared along the lines by the false fall back, they would move. The Calvary would swoop around in wedge formation and cut through Barker's lines from the side. Weapons would be swung viciously at any enemy, even their transportation working as a weapon to run down any Barker troop.

The plan seems to be working as there seems to be minimul losses for Crows while a staggering amount of losses begin to pile up for Barker.
Who is sitting idle in his formation.
Though not far away would be Asiv sitting in his wheel chair, openly waiting Barker to move. Who did, with a simple contengent of five of his men to stand in front of Asiv, the tension there obviousely high.

After the combined initial response by the Crows, the base forces would surge forward to finish off the remainder of Barker's first attack. Kiyoshi's unit would retreat back to formation in the same fashion as they had advanced while the Calvary would make a second sweep to reform in their original spot.
The signal would go to all force to hold. No advancing. Meanwhile, once the last bit of Barker's first wave are crushed, the Crows raid their bodies for any and all usable equipment.

Having reached the battlefield via the North east, Marcus stood upon a rooftop, watching the everything unfold before him through a pair of battered binoculars. His team was assembled out of sight in the alleyway behind the building.
"Fett you magnificent bastard....." He would mutter as he watched the lines clash. Explosive barrels? A nice touch, but that would only stem the tide for a moment. He feverishly hoped the one eyed bastard had another trick up his sleeve. Marcus could hear Joe on the radio, whispering and hissing like a mad dog in a kennel. He had to admit he was tempted to just rush in right now as well. He felt good. Felt better than he had in years in fact.
"Fenris to Pack. We hold until I give the signal. Then we rip clean through them like a hot knife through butter. Target anyone who looks like authority and pull them into the truck, then ice em. Awhoo?" He smiled viciously as ten howls answered back over the radio. It took months of some of the most intense training they had ever gone through, but they were strong, and they were his.
His Wolf pack.
"I'll lead in. Adachi you hold the rear." "Y-yes sir, Marcus sir."
"Your move you sunovabitch."

Barkers forces are... Crushed entirely. Unfettered's strategic boost to the troops and Kiyoshi's front line efforts, they barely lose fifteen Crows in all! The second wave is unsure of what to do, until without even looking Barker gives the order to charge headlong into the battle! They do...
"So... Just gonna stay a cripple or figure that cure out yet? That one you will never find for your inferior human race."
Asiv would sit in silence letting Barker speak.
"What? The great Zack Asiv, has nothing to say? Not gonna lecture me like you used to? Are my tactics still too brutal?! Look at my army! They do what I saw no matter what! Loyalty can be forced!"
Asiv would shake his head as he looked down.
"That is not true loyalty, they fear you and fight so they can die and be released from your service, they dont fight for you because they want to."
Sean Barker would turn around and scoff, waving a hand for his five soldiers to take Asiv. And they would aim to leave the battle field entirely.

Marcus whooped and pumped his fists as Barkers Primary line crumpled into dust. Leaping out a window, the man scaled the side of the buidling he was on as he came down with all the speed and grace of a mountain goat before hitting the ground.
"SILK! PUNCH IT!" He would roar with a wave of his hand before jumping atop of Lady and roaring into the battlefield. The Speakers on SIlks truck were Screaming out 'Hello there' By Cheap Trick as they impacted into Barkers second line from the Northern side with a meaty thunk, ripping into it with reckless abandon.
In Marcus' hand was a Stop sign he had....'Liberated' and was using it like a Jousting Lance while The gang in Silks truck thrashed and attacked everything around them that they could get thier hands on.
The sounds of Manic Laughter could be heard over the roar of the engines. It took The Northern crew a while before they realized it was comming from Marcus himself.
It was infectious. Soon they would be adding thier voices to his Laughter as they whooped, taunted and jeered at Barkers Second line troops, stopping for nothing as they scythed right through with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer.

Delilah would pull back a little as she finished cutting a swath in her side of the battlefield, covered in blood that wasn't her own. She glanced over her shoulder at Stu. He was only a little ways off so, she hopped back to his side, flicking the blood off her sword and resheathing it. As the second wave came on, Delilah would pull her bowie and tanto knives from their respective sheaths.
"Let's pick up the tempo, love."
A simple plan. Stu with his natural reach and the length of his sword would make quick work of enemies outside their six foot circle of death. Delilah, who was much faster with knives than she was with her sword, would take care of anyone on the flanks or trying to get inside Stu's range of motion for closer combat.
It was quick, fluid. A soldier approached from the left and he got a knife in the throat. He got off easy. She pivoted quickly back to the right in time to plunge her tanto into the heart of one man while flaying the second's arm wide open. His scream was silenced with a sharp jab in the eye.
Spinning a back kick behind her, she would catch a soldier in the gut, winding him. As he clutched his stomach and tried to straighten out, Delilah's bowie knife would sink into the back of his head. She would kick the dying man back into a crowd of others and she spun back around, launching her tanto from her hand to seek the eye of a man just off Stu's right.
Her pocket knife came out in a flash as on her left, a big man with flail approached. Barely able to duck beneath the swing, She dropped to a knee to slash at the man's leading leg. She would flick her hands to turn the knives over so that the blades were against her arm. Striking fast and hard, she would climb her way up his body with the knives stabbing into him until he was standing again. Instead of simply pulling her knives free, Delilah would kick him hard in the chest, sending him flying backwards into more enemies for Stu to obliterate.
*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*
Delilah's team in the meantime, were faring well also. Nigel's iron tonfa were causing serious amounts of damage with specific strikes aimed for the head and chest, occasionally the limbs to break them. Cain was shredding his enemies with a ferocity equal to a wild animal as his make shift claws shredded and tore at anyone who dared come close to "Unfettered". And Talon...
Well, Talon was busy deploying Delilah's own, more personal contribution to the war effort.
Maneuvering surprisingly quietly for a man his size (although with the clashing of the two armies, that wasn't exactly hard) Talon could be seen darting in and out of shadows, running through buildings or standing on the rooves on the enemies flank. In his arms he carried a large bag of the curious little bubbles filled with concrete silt, powdered chilies, and ultra fine saw dust. These would be rolled from alley ways beneath the enemies feet to be crushed and exploded or pelted from above to implode on impact.
The ingredients were nothing unusual in comparison to what Cain had thrown earlier to distract the soldiers before escaping through the main gate. Except for one: the saw dust. Milled to an ultra fine quality, the saw dust particles, while not actually harmful, would cling to the Barker soldiers' uniforms, to their hair and float into their eyes and lungs.
The stinging chili powder and the clouds if silt were a distraction for the real purpose of the pellets: distribute the saw dust as much as possible. Why? Because it was extremely flammable.
Grinning like a mad man, Talon would dump half of what remained in his bag off one roof and into the fire that had been lit earlier. The pellets would explode and the saw dust would ignite in great plumes of hot blue fire. It would spread quickly as the previous pellets that had detonated in the crowd would also catch, lighting all the affected soldiers on fire as the back of his ranks exploded into flame.
Meanwhile, Sergei Heather and Nick would continue to over see the just-in-case evacuation of citizens to Hermosa Beach, with the most volatile or unstable being moved to nearby safe houses.
*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*
Just as Delilah and Stu were really getting their rhythm down, the rather conspicuous burst of music, engine roaring, manic laughter and screaming heralded the approach of the Wolf Pack. Delilah would grin and tap Stu on the shoulder, indicating they should probably step back.
Moments after they did, the gigantic truck would drive through the line of enemies not far ahead of where Marcus was leading the way with his Lady. The clamour he caused made a few of the people she and Stu were fighting look back in surprise. They were dispatched with ease.
They drove out of their immediate line of sight and Talon employed Delilah's little plan, sending waves of flame shooting through the last set of ranks up through parts of the middle. At this she crowed with delighted laughter, tapping into the frequency set for her team. "Nice work, Talon."
"Thank you, ma'am."
She tapped into the frequency for "Unfettered" and Kiyoshi a grin in her voice before she went back to work. "And that's why you hired me."

Stu quickly lost focus of the battle at large. He managed to hold himself back from running out into the circle of fire as the first wave of troops was defeated, in time to see the 2nd wave launch themselves forward.
"Let's pick up the tempo, love."
He only grinned a smile that split his face in two, quickly shaking the blood off of his sword before falling into "Crane Parts the Waterfall", an overhead hold of his sword, perched on one foot, his sword aiming towards the first enemy to die.
And die he did, split entirely in two. The strike was so brutal and so swift, that the man managed to actually hit Stu with his baton before actually coming apart, the strike bouncing harmlessly off of his forearm. Stu moved from Crane into Tiger Shreds the wind, as three men came at him at once. Tiger Shredded them quickly, a series of near imperceptible slices across their three bodies that hit all three at once with each swing. His sword clicked back into its sheath and they fell in a bloody pile.
He could feel Del's back touch his every few seconds, mostly right after another man fell on his periphery. He dodged the same mace that his love did, but as he quickly spun to analyze the threat, he saw the man be stabbed what seemed to be over 9000 times. He smiled even as he pulled the trigger on his sword, and threw it at a man that attempted to strike her before she finished the move. The long blade embedded itself into the mans chest, and as Stu ran to grab it, he then brought it around for an overhead smash, the hilt blade slamming into an enemy's skull, the shock pulping his head as he was crushed under the ferocity of such a hit.
Stu returned to his spot just as Del tapped him. He pulled his sword from the gut of another fallen enemy only to see a madman behind the wheel of some madder truck, and a chorus of cheers from the surrounding crows.
Her joke crackled over earpieces even as he set to work on another enemy. And another. And another.
They were like so many blades of grass, and the team of Stu and Del were the lawnmower destined to mow them down.

Kiyoshi merely shook his head at the display of command that Barker showed. The disregard for his own men was appalling enough but the lack of tactical effort was something else entirely. The Crows leader had to wonder if this man wasn't just a pawn by some other force to weaken them. Alas, such weak minded people as those that followed him were not the type to waste effort on convincing to switch sides.
The signal came down and the Calvary smashed through the sides of the second Barker charge while Kiyoshi lead the front line in a charge to meet them head on, now armed with whatever Barker's men brought to the fray. There was no need to bring forth surprises or more complicated tactics against such folly.
Kiyoshi himself would rushed the middle, sword drawn and ready as he took flight to land in the center of the Barker formation, clouded in shadow. After cutting down those in his immediate area with a moment lost, he would unleash a massive slash of wind in all directions to blow apart the formation and send the men scattering without much ability to defend themselves.

(Your long posts keep me from posting quickly.)
Barker leaves the field with Asiv in tow.
The five captains return to their position not even flinching at the mass loss of life to their current forces. The fire tactic, the trucks and calvary.
Each Captain in turn simply spotting the ones they are assigned to fight, a few exceptions though...
One of the captains step forward with a scoff.
"Thanks, been meaning to execute those prisoners for quite some time."
His voice being... Oddly easy to hear from anywhere.
(Crows have lost a total of 15 soldiers while Barker's forces are almost 100% destroyed)

(There's no rush. We've got plenty of time.)
And there it was, the twist to make the Crows the bad guys. Quicker than expected but well done all the same. Kiyoshi just shrugs. He wasn't one to suffer much the loss of sniveling urchins that bow in the presence of power. Either way this was bound to happen, no dwelling on that fact now. Instead he just stared at the captains with a smug grin on his face.
"Wasting all your time on little old us. Kinda sad."
He doesn't make a move though, signalling the men to retreat. This wasn't a fight for them. Beyond that he had orders to issue via these fancy bluetooths.
"Del, you better watch Stu. They have their way, this it'll be it for him. Stu... everyone else, give em hell."
Come at me, bro!

"Yeah it is pretty sad... Though boss said to leave no survivors."
Unfettered would find a man standing not but fifteen feet behind him. Simply watching with an umbrella protecting him.
Kiyoshi would have the main Captain who was speaking approach him in a walk. Stopping before the fire wall.
The other four Captains would approach from behind the main one and wait.

I am calling for a freeze to the quest thread.
There are personal feelings seeping into this from both sides that is unacceptable to the RP enviroment. This thread is not to be deleted because there is genuine RPing.
I kindly request that open communication begins so this can be discussed between all participating parties. We should not continue RP when the IC integrity is being decayed.
I will be bringing up points later in the Help Board for genuine discussion.
I do not want to hear about opinions or feelings, I want links, sources, and supported testimonies (vouchers with at least one person).
Right now, this thread's greatness is being compromised by: -Lack of warning. -No adhering to post order. -Lack of disclaimer. -Complaints that are being brought up by both sides.
This is disgraceful for both sides and this will be resolved peacefully. At worst, we will come to a compromise.
Thank you for reading this and this Co-Admin hopes that this is all just one terrible misunderstanding.
Let the thread resume.

(Let's get this over with.)
Kiyoshi doesn't respond, there was no need as this would be over in an instant. As he approached the man his shadow cloud started to form around him, obscuring him from view. Once that was done, he would take flight within his cloud, taking the only give away of his exact position... his footsteps. There rest was rather simple, fly over and slice the man into tiny little pieces while hidden.
Of course there is the question of how Kiyoshi could see within this cloud and the answer was simple, his shades. They would allow him to see perfectly while the other man would be otherwise incapable. Fire would be smothered in the cloud, only illuminating the physical area it occupied.
Then simple rinse and repeat on the other until all 5 are dead. Unless something goes wrong, which it will.
