Silence was broken with Emily floating to the surface again and completing a lap to the other side of the pool and back. It was then when she heard the boy say, "..Sure you're ok with me here?"
Emily kept afloat, vertically, and sighed. "I've actually got no problem with converstation, or anything like that... I just hate noise when I'm trying to think."

Mars poised himself..It had just occured to him.
They WERE the only ones there..
He sat upright to look at the girl slowly floating in the pool. Echoing silence rippled.
"Which reminds me..Just what are you doing here?.."
He asked with a curious tone. It ripped out the thick awkwardness in the pool area.
"Reminds me as much that there IS no swim practice.."
And isn't this place supposed to be off limits during school hours?...No matter..
Although..So many questions...He wanted answers..He was intriuged..Very curious..He got up from his post that he sat at and began to take off his wet jacket. It was very heavy. He threw it against the bench as he took off his boots as well...
The bench snapped in half under the weight of the jacket and the many buckles on it.
Mars took off his buckle boots..And sat there..He wore what looked like an undershirt made of belts..An odd character..
He sat right back down..And continued to drip dry..

Right.
This place was off-limits to most people, but she swam here anyway. Well, when one had to be turned in only two things can be done - take it, or fight it.
"Well, I want to swim here. Nothing much other people can do about it." The girl just vertically kept afloat, wading from one side to another. It kinda felt like cross-country skiing... without the snow, or the heavy gym. "... I'm hoping to get into the swim team. Sadly, I basically know no places near where I live that has pools for use."
'... and public pools are scary.' she thought, shuddering lightly. No way she'll have to go to a public pool. How can she practice her laps or her breathing with so many people? and the water's not as clean or cool either.
