(OOC: David)
Near the Dragon's Territory, just on the outskirts of the boundaries, a lone figure could be seen stalking through the streets. Dressed in his usual karate jacket and pants, his katana on his back, the rest of his gear was inside the duffel bag he carried over his shoulder, one of his gloved hands gripping the strap. Word on the street was, one of the Dragons, and the only School Captain he ever followed, David Blaze, was around. Where better to confirm what he heard than near Dragon Territory itself?

A man dropped down in front of Kazuya, cracks splitting around his feet, dust kicking up around his body and blurring his image, making it nearly impossible to see who it was clearly.
"What are you doing in Dragon territory."
The voice would sound familiar....

Unfazed by the sudden appearance of a figure dropping down in front of him, dust kicked up, Kazuya would let out a small cough, though he instantly recognized the voice.
"I heard you were around, I decided to see if it was true. It's been a long time, David Blaze."

He stepped out, but his eyes and voice remained on edge.
"It has, Kazuya. And last I heard, you were a part of Movement, an organization I dont take kindly to. You'll forgive me then if i seem... Disapproving of you being here."
He glanced around the man, keeping an eye open for any sign of warriors. Scene was an evil man, but intelligent. David wasnt about to let him back into the world.

"I discarded my allegiance to "Scene" the day he disappeared. I am no longer part of that gang, or any other gang, for that matter. I hold no loyalty to anyone since that day."
This included The Paladins. With Gabriel Seran gone, his pseudo little sister Kevala Katashi in parts unknown, and Jack O'Connor? Who even knows where that berserker was, the only Paladin left was Shugo Yuy, and even then, Kazuya knew the Ex-Knight of 552 was around, but where specifically, he didn't know. The only reason he still carried the belt he received from Gabriel was because he considered it an important gift from a close friend and ally.
He even no longer had the tattoo he received from "Movement" on his upper arm, having removed it, which had been a time-consuming, not to mention painful process. The only tattoo he possessed now was the tattoo on his left upper arm of the kanji for "Dragon."
"I am simply a wanderer now, I go wherever fate takes me. If you do not wish for me to be here, then I will leave."

David kept his eyes on Kazuya while he spoke, glancing down at the duffle. Interesting. It wasnt unheard of for someone to leave a gang for a multitude of reasons...David just hoped the man didnt leave behind the Pillar he remembered.
"No, you dont need to leave. You just can't be too careful in Barkers world."
He would signal to the men above them, who had bows drawn, targetted at Hikari. They lowered their bows, vanishing over the rooftops and back toward their original positions near the nuetral zone. He would grin.
"It is good to see you though. Reminds me of better times. You staying around here for a while?"

"I concur. Your mistrust was warranted, but I assure you, I hold no loyalty to any gang."
Glancing up briefly at the men David signaled to above them, with bows drawn and targeting him, they would lower their bows and vanish over the rooftops, Kazuya would shift his gaze back to David, a small slight smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
"It is good to see you too. I will be staying around, I am a wanderer after all, and fate brought me here. With the world as it is now, aside from traveling, I've been spending all my free-time doing nothing but training and meditating."

David chuckled.
"Yeah, well, don't stop now. Your actually starting to look like a challenge."
A clap on Kazuya's back as they would start walking.
"So. What brings you to Dragon territory? Just...wandering? Or were you hoping to find someone familiar?"
Being sarcastic, of course.

"Why David, you almost hurt my feelings."
Kazuya retorted back sarcastically, a slight smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth while they walked.
"Isn't it obvious David? I just happened to wander near Dragon Territory and just happened to find you, the only School Captain I ever followed. ... There is a reason I came though, besides to find you. I want to not just try to be part of The Dragon gang, I want to become a Dragon. If I have to prove myself not just to you, but Leon and Mathew, I will."

"Mmm."
He continued walking, pondering over Kazuya's claim. He wanted to be a Dragon... David was the only of the three not to have an apprentice, but it wasn't for lack on his part. He would let out a little breath.
"I understand the desire. Plenty of people have it. But Almost all of them have some direct misconception about being a named one. If you want, I'm more than willing to let you join the Dragon core. But becoming one of the named is not so easy as just proving yourself. If you were twice as strong as me, I'm not sure if I would name you. Strength and power and legends are a very small part of what it means to be one."
He would chew his lip, staring off a moment.
"Think about this. When we were in school, Gabriel and Matrim started naming. Anyone who stepped up to them only had to fight and take a title. But that's not how it works. Not how it was ever suppose to work. Dragons don't just name. They teach, and train, and mold their apprentices to the mindset of the Dragon. They don't just bring people on because they can fight, or because they are married. It's a disgrace to the name, doing things that way. Make sense?"

"I realize that David. I would be honored to be named part of the Dragon Core. Gabriel and Matrim... I don't think they really understood what being a Dragon was all about. Being a Dragon is not a given, it is a right. It doesn't matter how strong, how fast, how charismatic you are, everyone has to earn the right to be named. I am no exception."
A calm but determined look on Kazuya's face, he would look David straight in the eye while they continued onwards.
"What you say, makes sense to me. There is more to becoming a Dragon than just simply proving how strong you are. Everyone has to start at the bottom, and work their way up. That's how life is. If you would allow it, I ask to become your apprentice. If you refuse, that is your choice, and I will accept it. But know this David: I would be honored to fight alongside you again, whether it be just a member of the Dragon gang, or a named Dragon and a member of the gang."

David sighed, stopping as he thought for a moment.
The man had the correct verbage. He showed respect for Davids authority, he said he was willing to start at the bottom- the only thing David was worried about was his will. His code. His honor. After joining with Scene, he could only wonder at what was going on inside of Kazuyas head.
The request could not be ignored.
"I can't take you on."
He paused a moment.
"It's not that I wouldn't like to- the problem is, you and I have a history. A mostly positive one. When you become an apprentice, it is a harrowing experience, and impossible tasks are put upon you. I would not want to rob you of the full experience by being biased. Once another Dragon has finished with an apprentice, ask them, and I will lend my support to the idea."
He grinned.
"Until then, your induction will be set for a few days. Though the formal invite is mostly a procedure, you still must prove yourself to the men, and no favor will be granted you."

"I had a feeling that would be the case. I can only say, it'd would've brought back a feeling of nostalgia working under you again, when you were the School Captain, and I was the Varsity Captain. But, that is your decision, and I will not try to change your mind. I do appreciate that you will lend your support however."
A small slight smile appearing on his face, he would clap David on the shoulder in a friendly manner.
"I wouldn't want it any other way, David. On my honor and life as a follower of the code of the Bushido, I will prove not just myself, but that your trust in me is not be misplaced again. Whether it be Leon or Mathew that takes me on, no matter what perils await me, I will conquer them all."

He grinned widely.
"It won't be them, it will be me who fights you to become one of the core. The apprentice-ship is for the title, and the elder role. To become a core member, you have to fight someone, and prove you are willing to bleed for the group. That someone will be me."
The Dragons fought with their bones, their metal. They fought skin to skin, without a need for healing or for boosts. It was strength against strength, and the induction would only stop once someone was satisfied.

"I wouldn't have it any other way, David. I've grown stronger since the last time we exchanged blows. I look forward to taking you on again, ex-School Captain."
Smirking widely at David, he'd clap him on the shoulder again, the two of them appearing more like best friends than ex-School Captain and ex-Varsity Captain. He had to admit, a part of him had missed working with David again. A fight relying solely on a person's pure, basic physical and mental aspects... He looked forward to the challenge.
"You better not hold back, David."
