Master, Where Art Thou? [open]

Sider was coming from fullerton traveling east, now well rested and fed he decided to wait at the edge of Barker Territory, surely there would be a guard wondering the border, and if not someone was sure to walk this way soon. so sider sat and meditated while he waited.

Oh yeah, there where patrols.... Only it wasn't a patrol that would find him. Standing on the border was a man with short brown hair. A simple black vest on his tattoo'd chest, camo cargo pants and combat boots. A pair of gloves and an interesting necklace of an upside down cross.

Sider glances upwards to the figure standing before him, and returns to his meditative posture.

"I've been expecting you" Sider simply stated.

[Mr. Kaar]

Barker would tilt his head to the side wondering what the boy meant, probably expected some random soldier to find him...

"Then... What is it you expect from here?"

Barker was simply curious... One should be careful not to bore him.

"a master" sider said simply.

[Mr. Kaar]

Barker's smile would widen greatly.

"Hahahaha, I'm sure you mean the kind... That teaches you war and the like?"

"i'm looking for someone who can benefit me. surely can't be who i'm looking for?"

[Mr. Kaar]

Barker would frown a bit before speaking.

"Oh great and powerful stranger. Maybe this humble fool could benefit you in some way so as to appease your search for power?"

Obviousely Barker was mocking him.

"I think you mistook my sarcasm for ignorance, i can feel your power from here."

[Zack Asiv]

"I have no doubt I mistook your meaning for something else. I just dont give a fuck."

Uh, oh. Barker used a curse word.

"So, I'm happy to say you've found a master, but I'm sad to say it wont be to your benefit."

Sider would note a large number of soldiers starting to crawl out of the shadows.

sider draws his sword.

"testing my stregnth are you? Come at me bro."
(referring obviously to the soldiers)

[Mr. Kaar]

Barker would fold his arms and lean back against a light poll.

"Sure. Lets go with that."

The five barker soldiers all flick out extendable metal batons.

One steps up specifically rolling his shoulders.

"Lets see what the big man can do."

"ladies first after all, you make the first move."

Sider says closing the gaps in his stance, he had been trained to fight multiple enemies at once, and this was his chance to prove himself to this new master.

The soldier would shrug before rushing and swinging the baton from a low left angle (Sider's left) in an upward diagonal slash meant to slap Sider across the face, or test his defence.

sider's eyes turned over an ocean blue coloring, and suddenly a cool smooth sensation overcame him, his body moved like the ocean tides. swiftly.

sider quickly rolled to the right swinging his sword at the soldiers left leg.

sider knew by the character's build that the soldier was stronger, sider would have to rely on his own intelligence and speed to survive this.
