Something slammed into a shoulder as Aryn was already moving out of the way, which knocked her further, practically spinning her to the side. Hopefully it saved her from the other OGRE, but she lifted her eyes and she swiftly ignited two small beads of her qi...

...on its eyes.

She kept it intense and under her control, hoping to blind the thing as she closed ranks with the other Dragons in retreat.

No smashy no squishy.

Oh of course the ensuing battle would have been epic indeed. The roasted charred flesh of OGRE's Mixed with a few of our Hero's being pounded flat like pancakes under thier burning onslaught.

In fact alot of things would have gone down.

If it wasn't for the fact that Mathew decided to knock nearly everyone on thier asses with his little earthquake. Even Tubalcain had to take a knee from the force.

Vogelbaums voice would then squeak onto the loudspeaker.
"Stand down everyone. Well My friends it was fun entertaining you but I believe you have more than worn out you're welcome. Time for you to leave. Do come back sometime soon though and I hope you dwell on what you have seen here today."

"It is only the beginning."

Tubalcain would then put thumb and forefinger into his mouth at let out a piercing shrill whistle, Causing the OGRES to trundle back towards him as he stepped aside.

"Well. You heard the man. Get the fuck out of here already."
He would say dismissively.

6 Exp to everyone who participated. Dragons gain UGF 1 as a stronghold and all the bits and bobs inside as well. Thank you and goodnight ladies and gentlemen.

"Sayonara asshole."

Hearing David's order, coupled with The Earth Dragon's order and subsequent earthquake, causing Kazuya to work to maintain his balance, he'd obey immediately and move into position as he ran with the group, working alongside Levi to make sure not a single person was left behind as they made their retreat. While Levi covered the right side of the center, Kazuya covered the remaining left side of the center, his flames kept close to his body to avoid burning his comrades from the sheer heat radiating off him.

Given the sheer strength and size those monsters possessed, retreat, while leaving a bitter aftertaste, was a necessary course of action. The next time they ever encountered those monsters again, he'd be much stronger, though as for that high-ranking officer of Barker's force... He couldn't say for sure he'd be able to take on and match him evenly. Only time would tell. They still had spoils to reap though, another stronghold was under Dragon control, and as soon as Kazuya made it out of the building, he'd head into the stronghold they wrangled control of, looking to see what he could find inside.

Rai heard the loud speaker and as they monstrosities wondered off so to did Rai cautiously follow his master outside.

[Kyrie Blaze]

Kyrie retreated with the rest, keeping to an outside flank just in case anyone - like Rai (though he chose to be smart this time) - decided to try anything funny. Up and out with their massed group she went, though she didn't breathe easier when they were above ground, choosing instead to remain warily watchful as this wasn't their territory.

[Levi Kayamei]

Levi commited the voice on the intercom to memory as he was sure they would hear from it again some day. He monitored the squad as he continued to cover his position, keeping pace with with group.

Aryn tossed a wink to the ringleader before them; nothing more than show for his 'generous' look-the-other-way for them to make their exit. Of course, the one over the comm was much more interesting. Oh, and the fire on the OGRE's eyes? She let it burn. It wouldn't extinguish unless the thing or anyone else was strong enough to put them out (and they were, of course).

She thought of it as a going-away present.

And so Aryn made her way out with everyone else, taking another position more towards the outside. She stretched as they made it out, and was fairly pleased. Oh, sure, ticked they didn't get the second facility, but even so. Not a horrible day, all in all.
