There was a brief sense of a blackout before things cleared enough to leave her uttering muffled curses...she'd won even as she lost. That was fine. But her face bloody hurt.
It was bloody in general.
Stubbornly, she pushed herself to her feet, swayed, and then stood.
A warrior for the rest of her life...
...shit, why not? Wasn't like she hadn't been fighting for survival in one sense or another.
"Yes."
Fucking OUCH. Her face turned to the side with the blow and she spat blood. Definitely time to get that stuff looked at...but she did manage a respectful bow in return.
