Rok's fist would be pushed enough to deflect it, but it helped in his twisting his upper body as well, to bring his other fist around full force for Rai's left side the soft tissue under the ribs. Taking the hit to the diaphram himself having flexed his midsection enough to keep his diaphram from reacting.

Rai took the hit but hardened the blood in that area to dull the punch still hurt but without missing a beat he would manipulate the blood that Rok just hit to travel to the other side of his body and it would exit his body forming a fist aimed right for Roks inner thigh. If this landed the blood arm would then wrap around his leg and yank outwards trying to make Rok lose his footing. While at the same time as the blood fist he would swing his right fist towards Roks face.
