"Having fun there luv?"
"Underestimation of the year! Glad you could join in."
And boy was she ever. She was not expecting this little soiree to go to a full blown house party what with the introductions of Orion, Kazuya, and Levi, the latter who was headed straight for her. If it hadn't been for Marcus, she would never have been able to land the blow on David's leg, for which she felt a sense of accomplishment.
Of course, that might also mean she may not have been kicked in the head by David during her slide. Ah, well. Ya win some, ya lose some.
The kick sent her reeling, putting a nice little impact cut in the side of her head and made her ears ring loudly. She lifted herself up off the ground, stumbling for a moment as she gathered herself. Those little black spots in her vision sure were annoying.
"Delilah!"
She glanced up at the sound of her name, body tense before she recognized the girl she was fighting alongside. The blonde one. She followed her gaze to Levi and Marcus as they fought, then looked back at her as she raised an eyebrow, mouthing a few words.
Even in her dizzy state, she caught the meaning behind it quickly. And it was a complicated question. Marcus was dangerous, in the way all wild creatures are dangerous while in their element. But he was also harmless, like the difference between big cats or a pair of wolves trying to tear each other to shreds and the same animals, only play-fighting. That was what Marcus was doing. Play-fighting.
So she just gave the slight blonde woman a reassuring smile and a nod of her head.
And then the girl proceeded to knock David ion his ass with a move similar to what Delilah had just tried to accomplish. The moment David hit the ground, she saw her opportunity, lashing out at him with a baseball-bat kick to the side of his head, thrown from the hip and using all her momentum from the ground to launch it. The act would almost spin her in a 360 if it connected or if he simply dodged it.

(OCC- this is just....so awesome T_T)
IC:
Levi was just about to launch his attack when felt a qi signature approaching quickly. It was unfamiliar, but it was definitely coming straight towards him from behind. He spun around quickly just in time to watch the man tackle him.
"Oof!"
Alright fine....I won't fight HER....if you want me....you got me!
Levi was in a compromised position and the man managed to get his arms around his waist, but that was as far as Levi was willing to let it go. He wrapped his legs around the man to gain some control as he sent a series of hammer blows and punches towards the man's cheekbones, hoping to disengage the man from his waist.

"Look what the cat dragged in."Orion didn't bother dealing with the others. After all... they were settling into their own separate fights within the brawl. Which he found amusing, but he would have to be careful. Some of these people were inordinately powerful, not to be attacked solo unless it's an attack from behind. "I saw this... and figured what better chance to see how strong you really are. You ready?"Without waiting for a reply, Orion would charge forward, aiming a blow to her solar plexus with his right fist. OOC: Simplistic, but meh. I think Rina and I dragged ourselves away from the main fighting. As for music... Riot

Kazuya would just smirk after his flame-engulfed fist was caught by David, having missed his target, the blond-haired girl, when she disappeared into a shadow, his head tilted back to match David's.
"I'm pretty sure we did."
His fist tossed aside, he would be sent flying back by wind blast erupting from David's other hand and hitting him in the chest. Flipping in mid-air, Kazuya would land on his feet, with the blond girl having attacked David and disappeared yet again, and Delilah following up with a baseball bat kick, there was only one person he'd go for.
"Hey Delilah!"
Not quite like the song. Giving her a slight grin, revealing his pointy canine teeth, he'd run straight for her as he pulled his katana free from his back. Epic duel of blades go?

Orion had a point there.
Problem was, she knew she wasn't half as strong as most of the people here. She was just fast. And lucky. As Orion rushed forward to strike her in her solar plexus, Rina stepped back and turned her body to the side, reaching out and knocking his arm sideways, hoping to throw him off balance.
If this worked, she would kick him in the back, effectively sending him sprawling forward.

{OOC} MYTURNMYTURNMYTURNMYTURNMYTURN! {OOC}
Well, the man certainly got Marcus' attention after stopping his rush considering there just weren't that many people left in the world who could do that. His mind immediatly re-evaluated the newcommers threat level, causing him to pull his lips back into a cheshire grin at the thought of going toe to toe with someone potentialy on his own level.
THOSE were the fights he loved the most! When it all came down to experiance, skill and technique and victory could be defined by the most razor of edges! Already he could feel that electric hum lighting his synapses up as his blood began to sing.
He was EXCITED! Like a giddy schoolboy going out to play.
Unfortunatly for Levi, he wasn't fighting your average thug. Marcus was a wrestler first and a striker second despite all apperances to the contrary. As the other man wrapped his legs around Marcus' waist, He replied by untucking his head out from Levi's side, avoiding any chance of getting choked out before bracing his legs and releasing his own hold on the man.
Now handling the mans entire weight, his arms were free to halt Levi's counterattack by snaking his own arms around his opponents in a quick clinch, tucking them underneath his armpits and pinning them against his sides before lashing out with a savage headbutt to the bridge of Levi's nose, hoping to entice the lad in putting his feet back on the ground.

"Maaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrcuuuuuuuuussssssssssss~![/i]"
The sing-songed, two-syllable sound of one fighter's name in particular drifted over the sounds of battle, carried by a voice that was familiar to several on the battlefield.
And then..!
"You're ON FIRE~~!"
Haha! And he was~
No--literally. Seriously.
Marcus' pant leg was literally on fire as black flames hungrily lapped and ate the material up. Aryn was considerate enough to not torch Marcus' jacket, though! And if some got onto Levi--regardless of how? ...well, wasn't her problem he couldn't pull out quick enough~
Bright green eyes skimmed over the fighters and set fire to Rina's foot before it hopefully connected to Orion in order to light his back on fire--but regardless, the flames on the girl's foot would sputter out as Aryn entered the fray!
Aryn was batting for both teams...
...for the moment~ [/font]

Kiyr managed to maintain her hold on the shadow she was in for...about six seconds. Regardless of whether or not Delilah's kick worked on David, Kiyr spilled out of his shadow, sprawled beneath his legs. If the kick had, then she would be rolling before sprawling and flopping in a temporarily boneless heap.
Panting. Wincing.
She quickly started to regain control of her breathing, though, and sharp blue eyes that were still somewhat pained looked around as the young woman pushed cautiously to her feet...or stayed beneath David's legs if Delilah hadn't sent him flying.

David turned his face to look at Delilahs foot just before it smashed into his face. Good news and bad news for him.
Bad news:
Blood sprayed from his mouth, the cut on his cheek widening as a longer trail of blood flew from it. He skidded across the earth a d smashed into a wall, flyig clean through it. For Delilah, it was a good, solid kick of excellence. His cheek under his other eye blackened as he groaned, pushing himself to his hands and knees, spitti g more blood onto the ground.
He grinned, his whisper carrying on the wind his Key would lift to Delilahs ears.
"That all you got?"
Good news:
Just before the kick landed, he puffed out his cheeks with air, so as it hit, the wind would blast from his lips in a rush, and using precision, he would form them into a dozen tiny blades that would aim to use those few seconds of contact with her leg to treat the front of her Calf like a meat grinder- they would aim to whirl around her leg, giving dozens of cuts and making that leg shiver in pain and agony.
His grin would be seen in the darkness of that body hole in the wall, if she was looking.

((OOC: Oh God man...take your time. We'll be here. -hugs- )) The fact her kick even landed was surprise enough to the raven haired mechanic that the tingling, wince-inducing pain of her now viciously bleeding leg took a moment to register.
She let out a sharp cry of pain, looking down at the shredded leg of her pants and how hot blood began to trickle out of her wounds. Her knee buckled at the onset of the pain and she staggered, listing to the side as she removed weight from that leg. Hissing and gritting her teeth, she forced herself to hobble over to the blonde girl who had been in David's shadow, offering her a hand to help her to her feet. "You alright?"" That all you got?" Her eyes lifted at the sound, following the path she had sent David careening through, eyes locking on the darkness within the building. The earring dangling from her ear allowed her to see perfectly in the darkness, giving her a full view of the daring grin splitting the Dragon's face. A similar smile spread her lips as she looked right back at him.
Oh, it is ON, mother-fucker.
Still, priorities.
There was so much going on that it was becoming increasingly hard to deal with. Once she helped the young blonde woman to her feet (if she accepted her hand at all, that was. If not, she would just assure the girl could get to her feet. If she couldn't, Delilah would help her out of the fight, picking her up and carrying her off to the side), she snapped her head to the side at the sound of her name."Hey Delilah!"Oh God, Kazuya had a sword. Of all the days not to bring it with her...
"Fffff--" There was no choice then. Not with her injury. Not if she wanted to stay in the fight. She activated her Qi.
Stats before Qi activation (Includes all items EXCEPT for 'Shinju [The katana]):
Str: 43 Dex: 50 Con: 48 Int: 52 Wis: 44 Cha: 26
QI ACTIVATED:
Level : Tungsten (Dangerous) Upon Initial Activation of this mode: +20 Con.(Def.)/+17(Off.), +3 Dex.(Off.), -10 Cha., -7 Int. -10% decrease to Str. and Con. after two posts.
This level of usage makes Delilah very aggressive. After two posts, her attacks become incredibly reckless and fierce. She will resort to unorthodox methods and reacts to things purely on instinct and will become a hazard to people fighting alongside her. Maximum coverage coats 77% of the body at any given time (minimal protection) and will definitely hurt opponents if contacted. Maximum coverage (minimal protection) prevents 55%of damage to a specifically defined area (up to 20% of body coverage) and will definitely hurt opponents if contacted with force. Qi can only be moved from spots on Delilah’s body once per post. When hit, a clang noise can be heard on contact and a vibration may travel up the limb. Concentration of armour is more dense than in Mildly Dangerous mode and is almost impossible to break or penetrate. Dangerous mode armour can permeate from the skin down through the muscle and through the bone. At this point, the areas that are affected by Delilah’s Qi will gain a metallic coating.
Str: 43 +17(Off.) Dex: 50 +3 (Off.) Con: 48 +20 (Def.) Int: 52 - 7 Wis: 44 Cha: 26 - 10
And after all that math:
Str: 60 Dex: 53 Con: 68 Int: 45 Wis: 44 Cha: 16
She threw her arms out to the side, her upper body (and the bleeding part of her calf to stem the blood flow and temporarily rejoin key muscle groups) was now coated with what would appear to be metal. Out of the peripherie of her eye, she saw some buxom brunette woman apparently set Marcus' pant leg on fire. She instantly bristled with jealously.
Who was she?
How did she know his name?
WHY WAS SHE SETTING HER MAN ON FIRE?
Delilah growled low in her throat, snapping her eyes back to the front, Kazuya now mere steps away. She moved quickly: without her sword handy, she was at a disadvantage distance wise. Plus, as far as she knew, Kazuya was far stronger and tougher than she was, even with her Qi engaged. The same was true of David as well, but DAVID wasn't waving a SWORD in her face. In her condition, she wouldn't be able to fight him for very long.
She rushed him, empty hand moving to her waist to draw her tanto knife from it's sheath...fingers snagging something extra. She would attempt to parry his cut by moving to the outside of the cut, pushing the blade away from her with the shinogi (side) of the knife. As she did this though, her bottom two fingers would release what was held discreetly in her hand. As they struck the ground, the little balls of chalk and concrete silt would explode, floating into the air in a temporarily concealing cloud. Delilah would continue to move past him, her second hand holding the zaptastic training knife would make a quick flick to try and deaden the nerves along the right side of his abdomen. Whether or not this was successful, she would immediately throw a long dive roll to get out of the cloud, hands touching down on the ground as her arms absorbed the shock, legs tucking over herself as she hopped to her feet. The pain in her leg jolted her, making her stagger before she broke into a full on sprint. She gritted her teeth, racing towards Marcus, using the burst of energy and blood-lust her Qi gave her to push her through the pain. It was dulled in comparison to what it would be if her Qi wasn't activated, but she couldn't stop her nerves from reacting to being damaged.
Fight the pain, fight the pain...
As she approached Levi and Marcus, she let herself into a quick slide on her side, shooting past them as she brought up her knife. One metal hand grasped the leg of his pants, raised the knife, and made a clean cut to slice the burning bit off his leg. She tossed it to the side as she rolled again onto her feet, continuing her momentum forward as she ran into the building where David was, well aware this was likely a trap.
GOOD. That oughta make things more interesting.

Levi was surprised as Marcus began to wrap his arms up. He had not had many grapple fights recently, especially with someone who looked to be a good match for his skills. These were indeed the best kinds of fights, fights that have no predetermined outcome and that keep a person on their toes. He smiled as he began his counter-counterattack.
"Grappling it is then....."
He didn't have enough time to avoid having his arms trapped, but he was certainly not out of options. He quickly pulled his legs back and, using Marcus's hold for leverage, pulled his hips up in front of his opponent, causing his body to lean back to avoid the headbutt. As he did this, he turned his hips and attempted to wrap his legs around Marcus's neck for a leg choke. He would hold this position as he felt the heat from Aryn's fire rise up to him and then suddenly vanish as Delilah ran past.
This is nuts...so many people........it's been too long....

Orion wasn't really an offensive fighter: he worked better as reactionary. So, Rina pushing arm helped him. Using the momentum from that, he spun, bringing his left fist around to backhand Rina's kick away from him. This would be followed by another punch aimed at Rina, though he wasn't really aiming: he was mainly going for first blood on the hit, and a hit from hit against her WOULD hurt.

As Delilah rushed at him and parried his cut, she would suddenly find his blade engulfed in flames, and he would push his blade back against her tanto with minimal effort on his part. He'd then find himself suddenly enshrouded in a cloud concealing her from view, and slamming his hand on the ground, would engulf himself in a pillar of flames, preventing her zaptastic knife from hitting him.
The flame pillar dying down and the cloud dissipating after a little while, Kazuya would see Delilah over by the guy Levi was grappling with and cut of the part of his pants that had been burned, before taking off to the wall with a David-shaped hole in. With the girl that had emerged from David's shadow pretty much out of commission, again, there was really only one person Kazuya could fight against.
Turning in the direction Aryn was at, lifting his left hand up, Kazuya would fire a blast of fire at her, quite aware she was immune to his flames. Hopefully it got her attention though.

Oh shit! She'd forgotten he way Orion fought.
Quickly, she turned at an angle as she fell back, so that his punch would only glance off the side of her face. Then, she twisted and dropped low so as to sweep a leg under him and try to trip him.

Delilah's cry of pain cut straight into Marcus' brain, making him turn his head towards her direction in alarm and distracting him long enough for Levi to get his legs around the larger man's head. Thinking fast, Marcus pushed his shoulders into Levi, making it more difficult for the asian to lock the choke in. Grabbing him by the front of his shirt with both hands, Marcus would then rear himself back, holding Levi high up in the air, preparing to slam his opponent into the ground.
That was, until his leg suddenly caught on fire. With a cry of surprise, Marcus staggard back, somehow keeping himself from loosing balance before pulling his flaming leg up, Trying to kick the flames out.
Black flames? That could only mean...... "ARRRRYYYYYYYYYYNE!" he would roar in rage at having been INTERUPTED DURING A GOOD FIGHT GOD DAMIT! As he kicked, a sudden WOOSH ran passed him as he felt a quick sharpness at his leg where the flames were consuming his jeans. "Thanks Hun!" Marcus would cry to Delilah's passing form before he continued his orginal thought of Power Slamming Levi into the ground.
