Leon sat at a camp fire in the middle of the night having sent messangers to have his apprentices meet him here.

Levi dismissed a Dragon messenger as he walked out of the Dueling piano bar where he now lived. This was the first summons from his master since becoming an apprentice. His heart quickened in anticipation as he bolted towards Leon's Qi signature. He slowed his approach as he neared a camp site, his master sitting by a fire. He gave a small wave as he sat at the 6 o'clock position from the fire and waited quietly for the purpose of the summons to be revealed.

It wasn't long after that Aryn showed up, as well. It wasn't the first time she had been summoned, and it wasn't likely to be the last. She wasn't entirely sure she should be looking forwards to these, necessarily, but...

...bring on the challenges.

She came into the light of the fire, glancing at Levi with a slow smirk spreading over her lips, and then letting her gaze flick over to Leon.

[Mr. Kaar]

Leon would wave a hand for both in turn to sit down.

"Aryn, Levi. You are both my apprentices. Levi, Aryn is your senior in my training. On assignments she is in charge when I send you both. I suggest later you two get to know each other."

That would be the fullest of his explanation on that one.

"Now today I'm going to explain how things go around here. How to act, and the structure of government, whats expected of you and everyone else.... Though before I go into that, do either of you have any unanswered questions."

Get to know each other--kekekekeke. Obviously Leon didn't mean like that, but, it'd be fun, regardless. Aryn sat with the gesture and made herself comfortable...

...for the first five seconds on Levi's lap, until she gave his hair a good ruffle and then vacated her spot with a bit of a devious chuckle.

All in good fun. She arranged herself on the ground, cross-legged and comfortable, and close to the fire. Questions? Aryn pondered this with a thoughtful hum. Nothing immediately came to mind, but that didn't mean there would be nothing if Levi asked something. Sparks to flame, after all.

Levi's face turned red as Aryn sat on his lap, his eyebrow high in the air as he tried to figure out what the purpose was, his eyes closing as he remembered his previous encounter with the vixen. It was all to get a rise out of him, nothing more. Levi returned his gaze to Leon and slowly shook his head in response, anxious to hear more.

Leon sighed. He really didn't like drawn out explanations.

"I'll start with whats expected of you. Not only are you my apprentices and have alot of expectations with power, but your to be named Dragons eventually if I have it my way. You are not better than others, but your important."

He'd let that sit.

"On the field follow orders as any good soldier would, but pay attention to who is in charge. The Dragon that starts the conflict is in charge of that battle, even I will listen to that person should it fall into that. You are part of the Lightning Dragons faction of our organization, you would be wise to remember that fact in many ways."

Pausing again.

"This does not free you from doing what another Dragon tells you, but if it breaks any order I have given you, it takes second place."

Leon would let that sink in as he looked at each in turn. Reaching to his side and throwing each a stick and passing a package of hot dogs around as he roasted his own.

"Maintaine a respectful attitude around the Dragons, they may not look it at first glance, but we are all dangerous when irritated. Even goodie, goodie David Blaze."

Leon would lift his stick out of the fire look at it, then put it back in the fire.

"This organization is run by three figure heads. Mathew Amtrum and his Earth Dragon. David Blaze and his Storm Dragon, and my own. Our symbols are what people fear, because we are the best."

Leon would sigh.

"To explain that further, We are feared, not because we are Dragons, but because we are the best. The fact we call ourselves Dragons does not scare people. When we introduce ourselves you will note, we give our names before our titles. Remember that."

Leon would pull the flaming stick out of the fire and make a gaping mouth noise as he had lost the entire tip of the stick in the fire.

"Questions thus far?"

Levi placed a couple hotdogs on the stick and roasted them carefully in the fire. slowly shaking his head again, this time speaking softly as he looked into the fire.

"None....pretty straight forward so far."

[Aryn Valcoph]

Aryn nodded occasionally as Leon spoke, though an eyebrow quirked here and there, with passing amusing thoughts to go along with it. The stick was caught with a blink. She eyed the hot dogs, clearly amused, before taking one and passing the package on. While her expression was obviously mischievous, it would be too easy to start playing with it.

No. Instead, she went for something a little more subtle.

Working the shaft... Poking the stick neatly through the hot dog, Aryn held her own over the fire, glancing at Leon.

"Not so far."

It was pretty clean-cut. Her gaze returned to the fire, and she focused on it. It was a little - not too much, just a little - different than creating her own fire, but...ahhh, there we go. She began manipulating the flames from the campfire and the heat away from Levi's hot dogs. After a few minutes, she questioned with a slight hint of a Southern drawl.

"Raw doggin' it, Levi?"

Levi's eyes rolled over to Aryn, who seemed determined to make the obvious sex joke involved with hotdogs. He moved over and placed his hotdogs next to hers. A small smirk appearing on his face as he did so.

"only way to go......it's only gay if they touch right?"

His attempt at humor was more of a gesture of companionship. They would be working together and it would be benefitial for them to get along, despite how much her amorous nature clashed with his own personality.

"Secondly I will begin teaching you our language so you are prepared for it. Some times we will use it to keep things amongst ourselves."

He'd then spend the next little bit introducing them to it, and giving them the alphabet.

"We will practice from here on out."

Oh-ho, so he did play ball! Aryn's grin widened and she bumped her dog nonchalantly against his as they drew near.

"Must be gay. What was the blush for, then, sweetie?"

...hm, and relinquished her control on the flames, so the heat and tendrils of fire jumped back out as they normally were. Not that it'd burn Levi's wieners or anything...but it was fun.

Her gaze flipped up towards Leon.

Language?

Interesting.

"...cina."

Levi shrugged as he brought his now cooked hotdogs closer, inspecting them to make sure they were cooked.

"Not my typical topic of conversation....but it is not a topic that is foreign to me."

Levi's ears perked up as Leon began to teach them Dragon, taking bites from his hotdogs as he listened. A different language? Levi's sect in the Yakuza had a variation of Japanese they would use to keep others from understanding them, but this was a completely different language. After hours of instruction, Levi began to feel like he was getting a grasp on the language. He still had to visualize the words in his head, replacing letters appropriately and then double-checking, but the concept was solid. He paused for a moment as he gathered his words.

"Nabmylehk maddanc fedr y bnatadansehat lunnacbuhtehk maddan yht drah cesbmo cuihtehk uid dra nacimdehk funtc.....ehdanacdehk."

Languages weren't her strong suit, though she did know smatterings of German and French, and could pull off a few accents nicely...this was different, and just a matter of knowing the alphabet.

Hot dogs were devoured, more quips were had, and Aryn eyed Levi as he spoke.

Not bad. Not bad at all.

She grinned.

"Vyhlo. Mehkiecdelc rudcrud? Oui ryja yh esbnacceja mecd kuehk vun oui."

She was getting a better grasp on it as time went on.

Levi nodded with a small smile as he realised Aryn wasn't so bad if you simply didn't let her get the best of you, it was just a matter of keeping pace. He glanced over at her, using this conversation as an opportunity to fine tune his Dragonspeak.
