With a small laugh, Rina replied, "It's quite alright." an then she turned to look at Kazuki with a warm smile. ["Yes, I'm Rin. Your daddy has been telling me about you."] she said to him. As she spoke, she noticed that the fog was vanishing, as if the waking of he child was driving it away.

[Kazuya Hikari]

Kaori peeking out a bit more from behind her daddy's karate jacket, one hand would slowly let go of the jacket and reach out to touch her face, more curious than shy by this time. If her daddy wasn't wary of her, then maybe she was alright.

["Daddah? Daddah... Rin?"]

She's only one year old, were you really expect full sentences? At least she knew some Japanese, since Kazuya had been speaking to Kaori in nothing but Japanese ever since he took over custody.

With a laugh, Rina shook her head. "No, I wasn't. But he understands us. It's in his eyes." she looked at Kazuya and gave him a smile. "You have a smart son there, Kazuya." she told him. What she didn't tell him was that she really wanted to hold Kazuki. He was so cute! However, she wasn't going to ask. She felt that it'd be too much.

"You think so? I'm glad, I guess that means she inherited both her mother's and my intellect. Though, ever since I took custody of her and returned from London, England, I have been speaking nothing but Japanese to her. I want her to at least try to become bilingual, if nothing else."

Feeling something pushing against his arm, Kazuya would glance down and see Kaori reaching out to Rina with both arms by this time, a look of utter wonderment on her face at her.

"I think she wants to be carried by you."

Kazuya would chuckle, as he held Kaori out for Rina to carry, Kaori making little grabby flailing hands at her.

["Rin! Rin! Want!"]

Nodding at Kazuya's words, Rina said, "That'd be useful."

Surprise lit her face when Kazuki was suddenly reaching out to her. With a smile and a light laugh, she took him into her arms, lifting him up into the air playfully before settling him against her hip. ["Hey, cutie."] she cooed, tapping him lightly on the nose.

Kaori laughing happily as she was lifted up into the air playfully before she was settled up against her hip, she would laugh as she was tapped lightly on the nose and tried to grab Rina's hand with her hands.

["I think she likes you."]

[Rina Vade]

Rina grinned and wiggled her fingers as Kazuki grabbed at them. "I think he likes you." said Kazuya and she smiled at him.

"I've always loved children. And Kazuki here..." she tilted her head at the little boy. "Is one of the cutest and smartest I've seen yet. Beside this little eight year old experiment. She's pretty intelligent, too." she smiled warmly. "Hey, there's a park nearby. Why don't we take Kazuki there? I'm sure he'll enjoy swinging."

[Kazuya Hikari]

"I think he'd like that too, right Kaori?"

Kaori looking up at Rin, and then her daddy in wonderment, the moment the park came within view, she would begin to make grabby hand motions at the swings.

["Want! Want!"]

Taking Kaori from Rina, for the moment, Kazuya would gently lower his daughter into the swings specifically made for babies, and would gently push his daughter in the swing, Kaori laughing and kicking her little feet happily.

[Rina Vade]

Rina stood in front of Kazuki, tickling at his legs whenever he swung forward towards her. She looked past him at Kazuya, tilting her head as she wondered what to talk about next.

Kaori laughing happily, even more when Rina started tickling her legs as she swung towards her, her little feet would be kicking up a storm while Kazuya watched his baby daughter happily and contently, eventually staring carefully into empty space.

"You said you know a eight year old girl that is an experiment. Was she... one of Barker's?"
