Kiyr honestly did not mind being ignored. The puppies thing was...'interesting', coming from David, but she felt it wasn't said maliciously in either case.

So she just remained silent, but observant, doing one of the things she did best.

He turned, strolling off a ways as he thought to himself.

"I asked her to come, alone, to meet with me. She would be more then interested in meeting with you and Leon as well. The reason I didn't involve you guys was because there has been no substatial step in the right direction. Just me asking to meet with someone, and them not responding. It's not meant to be a slight on you guys- She knows just as well as anyone that we all have equal authority, and we make decisions as a group. But there wasn't anything to decide on just yet."

He turned back to Mathew.

"Though I will say that, if one of the Zeros does come, I'll still speak with them in private until, again, I have something to go on. Don't worry- I'm not planning to keep you guys in the dark about anything. I just don't wanna piss away time by bringing us all together for nothing, if i can prevent it."

He let out a deep breath.

"Though I must say, I think that came off more hostile to her, and you, then I intended. I am still hoping, in the future, that we and the Crows can come together. But Im not longer actively persuing it. Not until they show they want to. I have felt...a little offended that neither has come to see an audience with me, as I have been the one pressing for it. So, I'm going to worry about us. Rebuilding. Restructuring. I'd like to get someone in charge of it soon, so while we expand, we can also boost our infrastructure. Cuz lets face it- so far, we've not paid much mind to the people, and they are the ones commiting troops to fighting this war. I can't focus on everything so...I left the Crows to take the next step."
