But I'm pretty good. I kid, I kid. I feel pretty new to this whole RP thing but I have taken the liberty of reading every thread in the uh.. Rules section? Idk what section, but the section where all the rules are. I do have a couple questions and I didn't feel comfortable pm'ing a staff member or posting in the OOC boards without posting here first. Anyone who could help me out I will be greatly thankful towards as I'll be less inclined to invest in a character profile if these questions go unanswered.
The history thread of 259 is really outdated imho. It said the last time it was updated was 2010? Well, how much of that story is still ongoing or accurate? (The Gods thing? Or could someone give me a brief summary of what happened? Ground 259? Assuming the school was blown up or something). Also, around how many members are active? Just a rough number would be wonderful.

Yeah it is pretty out of date haha.
Basically right now we are in a post apocolyptic future so your character is no longer limited to being a school kid. A man named Sean Barker has attacked and basically destroyed most of the civilized world in his conquest for power, and no one knows if governments are even still intact. Electricity is scarse if any from generators, vehicles and the like are rare if they work without repair.
An airbourne virus of nano machines was released that makes explosives and gunpowder non-existent and everyone is trying to survive by joining the rebellious factions that oppose Barker.
We have about 19-20 active posting members, and an extra five or six who pop in every now and then and give us an update, or do something fun with their character.

Looking at all these people with "God"ly and "Half-God"ly stats with the post apocalyptic world it doesn't seem like there's a good way to stay alive on this board...

Currently its more of a PVE than a PVP, the easiest way is to put yourself out there and see who recruits you.

Also, most of the characters with high stats are transfers, but there are quite a few characters with stats that are pretty average.

From what I understand, you don't gain stats from PvE fights, right? And I'm not so sure Silver will take kindly to the idea of being recruited.

Though you CAN go PVP and it IS encouraged at very least as Friendly sparing goes.
Remember, not EVERYONE is out to kill indiscriminatly.
The fun is trying to figure out which ones are :3

There are a few people with average stats. Rina, myself, Kyrie, Aryn, Raikotsu, yourself.
Just gotta find them. And it's generally easier to do PvE then PvP here, as unless your in the godly section, stat variances are kinda wide to no variance at all.
Nice to meetcha though! I used to go by Silver in other places...

Ooo, really? It's a neat name I think. My character's name is actually Adam Goldman and it turns out there was an Adam Silver on this site -_-. Whoops. Had I known that I could've been Orange.
