OOC: Open of course! IC: A chill wind blew over the cemetery grounds. Quite fitting for the setting actually. A place devoid of warmth and life, kinda like the rest of the world was nowadays. Or so most had come to believe. Silver walked the grounds, scouring the area for a good back support to rest upon. Headstones seemed to become increasingly uncommon as the deceased opted for plaques instead. It had been quite some time since Silver had come back to visit his hometown. Well, actually, it wasn't quite his hometown as that area was occupied but what was called 'Barker forces' or so he recalled hearing. It was a little north of where he used to live, but familiarity still rung throughout the air. He came adorned in his usual clothing: a baggy hoodie hiding his hair and baggy cargo shorts. It was necessary to wear baggy clothing. It gave people the impression he was sloppy or ragged. Someone to ignore, someone to pass over. Since all this nonsense began, Silver had been somewhat persecuted for the color of his hair. How was this his fault? It wasn't. It's not his fault genetics screwed him. But instead of hating his silver hair for seemingly branding him as a criminal, he embraced it by adopting the alias Silver. Despite the animosity displayed towards him, Silver didn't become bitter. He looked to the light, the hope that it would get better. All he had to do was live as best he could while living life by his standards, not the standards set by this unforgiving society. It was this attitude that allowed him to overcome what came next. What was supposed to be two headstones were adjoined as they lay side by side. They read: Here lies the bodies of Delano and Lucille Goldman, taken from us on that fateful day... So they didn't make it. Silver could only imagine what happened to them after he fled. Were they collateral damage caused from the violence or were they directly targeted by upset mobs because of the color of their son's hair? It didn't matter, what's done was done. What did matter was Silver had found his resting place. "I guess you guys will never outlive your usefulness." He muttered as he plopped down with his back against their grave. "I never said it enough nor did I act like it, but I really did love you mom and dad."Silver's head hung back as he closed his eyes for a moment and soaked in the moment. It was quiet. Silent. Peaceful. Almost.

{OOC: Just gonna squeeze right on in here}
Lucien stepped in to the old cemetery, remembering how they made him feel, even still. Empty. No place for home, not even a tombstone for his parents. What was he doing here? It's true, the Crows sent him for scouting, but this was a little close for comfort.
And this place...
Lucien shook the thought from his mind when he spotted someone up ahead, leaning on a tombstone. Come on, have some respect for the dead. Lucien ducked quickly behind a row of tombstones, being careful not to disturb any of the graves.
The person up ahead said something quietly to himself. Lucien couldn't make out what he was saying, but he seemed... Remorseful. And he certainly didn't look like a soldier of Mr. Barker's employ.
Gripping his staff tightly in his hand, Lucien took a drink of water, a deep breath, and revealed himself from the hiding place. Walking forward, the newcomer would see a very, very skinny man with the neatest of black hair, wearing a black v-neck tank top and cargo pants with lots of pockets.
"Hey, excuse me," Lucien would say, ready for anything, "What are you doing here? It's quite dangerous out here, you know." Not to mention dirty.

"Hey, excuse me,"
The silence was broken. The peace was short-lived yet precious.
"What are you doing here? It's quite dangerous out here, you know."
The voice hardly warranted a defensive reaction and given Silver's calm nature he tilted his head slightly in the direction of the newcomer. Sudden movements probably would have alerted this man that something was wrong with Silver, so a calm response was in fact the most defensive. His glance at the man allowed him to make a few observations. There was nothing uncanny from his appearance save maybe for the staff. He was too young to actually need something to assist him in walking. A weapon of sorts perhaps?
Silver retracted his gaze within moments in order to avoid making the man feel awkward. His head set back he gazed back up at the sky. He spoke out loud but it didn't particularly seem like he was talking directly to Lucien.
"Oh. You know. Coming here makes me feel not so alone."
Sarcasm? Possibly. He then turned again to the man, this time not just his head but his shoulders as well so that he was fully facing him but still in a seated position.
"What are you doing out here? Isn't it dangerous to be walking around alone?" Silver smirked. He wondered if banter was still appreciated around these parts.

OOC: Just going to slip on in, ignore me if you don't want to interact it won't effect the interactions between Silver and Lucien.
IC:
A yell was muffled out by the overpowering sound of the wind as five people stalked across the grounds during the later hours of the day. It was cold so they dressed warm, well three of them did. Jack and two of his hired goons were trailed by two people dressed in rags a man and a woman. He had ordered them gagged when they refused to shut up, it was one of his first contracts the disposal of these two. They had been very wealthy when the world was the way it had been only they had stepped on too many toes to get there.
"Here" Jack said as he stopped at an empty grave which had recently been dug. There waited two more men, grave diggers. Pulling a cigarette out of his pocket it lit up as the thrust their captives to their knees. Jack turned around and removed his cleaver from his belt. "May you die as you lived" he spoke in his deep voice as he raised his cleaver and hacked off the first victims head, it was the woman. He felt that she was the innocent party here but none the less orders were orders and orders paid him well. Next he moved to the man who was now screaming but the gag prevented too much sound from coming out. He hacked off his head as well the bodies were dumped into the grave.
"Bag the heads" he cleaned his blade with a towel that was provided. Turning back he looked at the two bodies and smirked before tossing the towel in after them. "Fill it up and lets be done with this shit hole." There were four shovels but only the grave diggers were filling the grave up. "You two dig also" they looked at him, but in the end they complied and began to shovel the dirt into the hole.
"Good, I assume you two have already been paid?" he spoke to the grave diggers they nodded "Handing them an envelope "a bonus for a job well done". Looking to the two henchmen he motioned with his head and they walked back across the graveyard. "Your boss has already been paid for your services, here's a sign of good will from my associates." Handing them each a much larger envelope.

Rai was sitting on some rubble in the distance. He could see what all was going on but he was sure to stay in the shadows where he would be unseen from the individuals in the graveyard. The two having a conversation by the tombstones one of the fellows he knew was his new found friend Lucien. Interesting... Rai would also notice the larger group off the to the side and would see the transaction that happened over there. It was unsightly work that was done thats for sure but it wasn't his place to correct every indecency he saw, especially without more knowledge of what was going on.
"Well are we going to go out and greet everyone?"
Rose stood behind Rai curious as to what they were doing here but it wasn't her place to question where he wanted to go, only to follow him and keep him safe.
"No, not yet... I want to see whats going on out there before we do anything. If Lucien needs us we'll go out there but for now we'll let them handle things."
"What about those men down there, they just killed two innocent people."
Rai sighed loudly he was debating that himself.
"For now lets just stay out of it. Watch from afar and see if we can't get a better understanding of the situation. Ok?"
Rose nodded it was a sound plan and one that she wasn't going to disagree with, so for now they would watch. Wonder whats going to happen... Rose thought to herself as she settled in to watch some more.

Lucien kept his eyes on the newcomer while his other senses went wild. There was noises coming from the distance, through the foggy cemetery. Someone was digging. Digging graves.
"Oh. You know. Coming here makes me feel not so alone."
Lucien pondered this for a moment. It's true, the man gave no sign that he had ill intent, and it was most likely a remark about his lost loved ones, but..
They weren't alone. And Lucien didn't like taking chances.
"What are you doing out here? Isn't it dangerous to be walking around alone?" The newcomer smiled.
Click. That did it.
Lucien planted the end of his staff on the ground, eyes serious and unwavering. Now that his life was potentially at risk, his compulsions died down and allowed him free reign.
"Maybe I didn't make myself clear. This area needs to be evacuated. Get out of here, now." Lucien said in what would have been a commanding tone, if that were possible for him.

Silver heard it as well, but he had no idea it was the sound of graves being dug. Even if he did know, why should anyone be alarmed at someone digging graves in a graveyard? Seemed awfully normal. Silver was taken aback by the man's change in tone. It wasn't forceful or intimidating by a normal person's standard in any way, but it was a notable difference from the man's initial tone. Judging from the man's posture, standing firm with his staff planted in the ground along with the seriousness those eyes held, Silver realized grave matters were at hand in the graveyard.
Silver calmly rose from the head stones, taking great care not to alarm the man any further. It was clear he the man was put on edge, whether it be through Silver's banter or the ominous sounds in the distance was not made clear. As Silver came to his full height he raised his hands in a playful manner, mockingly almost, as though he were some sort of fugitive caught by this man playing cop. To add to the silliness Silver was putting on display he gave a mischievous grin. Surely it would be hard for the man to consider Silver a threat when he was pretending to be such a dork.
"I'm not sure I understand the situation but I know for sure you don't either. Where are you getting this authority to expel people from paying their respects to their loved ones?"
Silver's dorky grinning face quickly turned into a dark glaring face. At this point Silver was more akin to a bull staring down a matador than a person having a conversation. He didn't take being ordered around lightly. Ever. His prior calm demeanor was to blaze a path to a stance where he could readily respond and not be off guard. Now that he was on equal standing, Silver felt it okay to show some aggression. It was the way of nature, males of any species typically lock horns when meeting for the first time. This encounter would be no different.
"I hear it too. I'm not sure what it is but I'm not a child. I don't need you lording over me playing hero as if I need saving or some other shit like that."
Suddenly, Silver's eyes diverted their attention away from Lucien for a second. He didn't see anyone in the distance but strangely it did feel as if someone else knew the pair was there. Er, pair? Rather one person and one other person were in the area. Probably just Silver's paranoia granting him precaution. One could never be too careful in the lawless lands.

Jack would enter silver's vision, passing between where Rai was undisturbed and Silver. There was a deep fog between Silver and where Jack and his men had been but the vantage point Rai occupied meant he could see both areas clearly, if only briefly as the fog drifted with was wind.
Silver would be able to hear them before he saw them just as Jack knew there were people ahead by the sound of their voices or more so, voices in general. With the way the winds blew either Jack could hear them clearly or they could hear Jack clearly.
So he broke out of the fog walking at a casual pace, two men flanking him either side a garbage bag in hand. There was little to give away that they were carrying head or had just killed two people apart from the fact that there were a few specks of blood on his clothing.
He paid them no serious attention but still greeted them "ladies" obviously mocking them at the delight of his two men who let laughs escape them. They moved on through not sticking to the paths provided but at times walking over the graves of random people due to the lack of room, between.

As the stranger and his two goons made his way to Lucien and the guy he was with the fog would move to obscure his vision, it would only be temporary before his vision was returned but he didn't want to risk anything happening before he could see again.
"Well, guess now is as good as ever. Ready Rose?"
Rose just looked at Rai grabbed the hilt of her sword and jumped down. Rai shrugged and followed suit. They began to walk towards the group of people and stopped after he heard some guys laughing at something. He made a motion to Rose to stay out of sight and she ran off somewhere. Rai would walk into the clearing with the group.
"Oh! Why hello good sirs, what might bring y'all out on a night like this?"
Rai looked around inspecting everyone acting as though he had no clue they were there before he stumbled upon them.
"Lucien? Is that you? My my been sometime hasn't it, how you been little buddy?"

Lucien, studying the various gestures that the newcomer presented, decided that he had probably acted a little rashly. He softened his movements, but didn't have time to apologize before three figures entered from the rolling fog, straight from the direction of the digging sounds. Two of them were carrying black garbage bags.
I've got the wrong guy, methinks...
After being mistakenly called a female, which happened every so often to Lucien, the.. Leader? of the three men sauntered between him and the newcomer. The other two laughed.
Lucien took a step forward, and replanted his staff in the ground with an audible thud.
The things you see in a graveyard...
And from behind him, he heard a familiar voice.
"Lucien? Is that you? My my been sometime hasn't it, how you been little buddy?"
"Raikotsu?" Lucien would say with surprise, turning his body slightly, so that his legs were still planted and he could see everyone in his peripheral vision.
"Raikotsu, it has been a while!" He would smile. "I am well, how are you, and Rose, and Uncle Leon?"

Silver jerked his eyes away from Lucien at the emergence of a trio. A suspicious looking bunch as well. Again his eyes would be forcefully pulled from their resting spot to peer at a completely different character who seemed to know the skinny fellow. The situation was getting a little too... hot... for Silver's liking. He took a few steps away from the multitude of five, gaining space just in case he had to bolt or some kind of skirmish broke out. It was completely possible what with the creepy guys with shovels and garbage bags in a graveyard. There was also no telling what other strangers the fog hosted. The situation seemed to grow grimmer by the minute. Silver didn't leave as that would surely rouse suspicion but he did refrain from casually rubbing his head, taking care not to reveal his off-colored hair. He watched intently as the scene would continue to unfold feeling more like a spectator than an actor.

Jack stopped, why did he always stop? He should have just kept on going ignoring the new comer. Was the man ground staff they had bribed the care taker to ensure there were no security people near by so who this new man was, was a large mystery. If attention was drawn to him he would respond with "Making use of some facilities" if not he would be quiet and shoot a glance to each person. My, my what a change of events. Can I ever have a clean job?
They moved back slowly Jack on high alert stuck between two on one side and another on the other. Judging the way everyone was reacting Jack decided that Silver was the person on his own and either the easiest to take out or the one who would most likely help him. If it came down to it Jack would either join silver and take him out as quick as possible and break through into that direction.
"Well friend, it seems we may be disrupting their little tea party huh?" he called out to Silver, moving all that little closer to Silver, away from Lucien and Rai.

"I am doing good, as well as Rose and my Uncle are fairing well too."
Rai would say with a smile on his face as though there was absolutely nothing bizarre about a group of people meeting in the middle of a graveyard. He would notice but wouldn't act alert to the fact that the stranger that he saw kill people move towards the man that Lucien had been talking too.
"Well friend, it seems we may be disrupting their little tea party huh?"
Rai cocked his head to the side appearing to be confused.
"I'm sorry, I thought I was interrupting y'all? Do, y'all not know eachother? I'm kinda confused..."
Rai began laughing again scratching the back of his head and long white hair.

Friend. Interesting proposition. Especially since Silver was in no position to negotiate.
"It would seem so. Friend."
The pause between his statement and what he would call Jack was evident. Silver observed as the man began to close the gap between them, effectively in a spot between Silver and the other two. The situation was surely the most difficult for Silver as he seemed to be the only one lacking back up. Jack had his lackeys while Raikotsu had Lucien and vice versa. In addition, Silver had no idea who was on what side. As Jack continued to come ever closer, Silver could feel his body instinctively tense up, preparing for a scuffle if need be. Silver, with his disadvantageous position, would not be the one to initiate any action however. Silver also made sure to show no sign of weakness as he made eye contact with Jack, doing his best to show no signs of animosity. His feet shuffled slightly but other than that, no nervous twitches could be observed.

{OOC: Lucien doesn't know names, so I'm calling Silver the less suspicious guy and Jack the suspicious guy.}
Lucien watched, thinking to himself that things were getting fairly bizarre. As the suspicious guy moved closer to the less-suspicous guy, while again saying something that implied Lucien was girly, Lucien noted a slight tense shuffling in the not-so-suspicious one. Though he called him 'friend', Lucien noted that it was far from the truth.
As Raikotsu laughed light-heartedly, Lucien decided to follow his lead, for now. He had proven to be a good friend in the past, and Lucien trusted him.
He grinned, softening his posture and turning his body back around to face the suspicious guys. After a chuckle, he would say "Indeed, I'm not too sure of the situation myself. In that case, best not to jump to conclusions."
Though, I've already made mine.
He would take a step forward, smiling, and say mostly to the less-suspicious guy, "My name is Lucien. I apologize about the misunderstanding earlier. It's nice to meet you."
