. o O ( Agreed~ )
Kiyr inclined her head and accepted the jacket, sweeping it on after taking a half-step back, sliding it smoothly in to place. From the moment she accepted, there was no going back. Not even a little. She inclined herself forwards in the customary Dragon Way at David's delegation. Ghost Ops, for her. Her mind raced ahead, wondering how she could possibly aid her team with her Qi. Could she manage to pull others through shadows with her, or would that be unobtainable?
She straightened as her mind continued its consideration for her newfound position. She wasn't looking for power. Not in the sense so that she would have domination over the Dragons; true that was more or less the end-goal with being Mathew's apprentice, but it was not the only goal. And so David found her worthy enough to bestow upon her power within his own sect of warriors: The Skyforce. To Kiyr, it wasn't necessarily about power, but of forging connections and ties to strengthen herself by having a team of powerful allies; not of the power in of itself. One link could still be broken, no matter how strong it was, and without other links to converge to band together, the chain would be forever incomplete. One was not greater than the whole...
That information was interesting, and not likely something she would forget. Perhaps even a piece of the puzzle. The Dragons were powerful, and she added her strength to theirs... Kyrie stood, observant and impassive as Jackson and Kazuya were dismissed, though internally she burned with curiosity. Her mind branched off, still seeking on the other topic, but now offering questions at what David intended until he turned as the duo moved off.
Blue eyes lifted inexorably to David's, and she moved slightly to face him. She listened quietly, intently, taking what he said and unfolding it.
Though part of her, indeed, quailed and quaked at the thought of having to withstand extreme amounts of pain. But. There was no going back. She had already committed. But she did deliberate and ensure she began to feel ready. After all...there could be, and would be no limits for how far she would go to protect this. Her lips were pressed firmly together, and she took a slow, inward breath, already attempting to prepare herself for what was to come.
She didn't know if it started now, but she shifted on her feet, cutting off what would be her instinctive escape if it began with her acceptance. She could not run and hide from it any more than she could run from the Dragons.
"I understand and accept your terms, David, The Storm Dragon."
