T'was almost the night before Christmas and all through Dragon's Territory, not a soul was stirring, not even a... oh wait, someone was stirring. Inside what was once a half-destroyed, now completely repaired and fully functional dojo, a figure could be seen seated at a desk, the glow of the flame of a candle that burned brightly lighting up the entire room, as nearby, a baby girl slept peacefully in her little bed. Scattered all around the desk and on the table behind him, Kazuya had spent the better part of two days gathering all the materials he needed, and now all that was left was to assemble everything together.
Christmas... Once upon a time, the word held meaning to Kazuya, despite how commercialized the celebration had become. It held meaning, because he spent his Christmas with not just his family, but with her, if only once. After that, Christmas still held meaning to him but... it wasn't the same. That all changed though, not just with the entire world having been blown to kingdom come, but also when he was passed the responsibility of taking care of his baby daughter... His daughter, that bore both the DNA of him and her... of Emily. She was quite possibly the best Christmas present Kazuya could have ever received, and though he still missed Emily very much, this Christmas, it was a rare chance to spend time with his close friends and give them something he made with his own hands.
Though it was rather late into the night, and the materials had not been the easiest to find he had managed to gather what he needed. He had already wrapped and set aside the present for the only School Captain he had ever followed willingly, and his one of his closest friends, David Blaze, and was now working on the present for an old but still close friend, Jack O'Connor. Utilizing his fire Qi, Kazuya would melt the sheet metal he had acquired down and would pour the metal liquid into the mold he had made. As soon as the metal liquid had cooled down and hardened, he would take the pendant from the mold and begin painstakingly engraving a set of kanji on the front, and the translation of the kanji on the back. By the time he had finished and wrapped Jack's gift up, it was so late, it was early. But, time waited for no man, and so he would push on, despite his exhaustion.
Next up on his list, was the one, the only, The Lightning Dragon himself, and though not his mentor, but Kazuya saw him as one, Leon Sudeki. Unlike Jack's gift, Leon's gift wasn't too hard to make, it did require melting down more sheet metal and pouring the metal liquid into another mold he had made, but there was no engraving involved, just carving out a handle from a block of wood, and putting everything together. Last, but certainly not least, was his other closest friend, Delilah A. Black. Her gift was definitely one of the more easier ones, not as easy as David's had been, but still easy nonetheless. Putting the finishing touches on her present, with sunrise still a good few more hours away, Kazuya would grab a few hours of sleep, because he'd need it when nighttime of Christmas Eve came.
T'was the night before Christmas for real and all throughout Dragon Territory, not a soul was stirring, except for one. With his presents gathered together inside a bag, slinging his bag of presents over his shoulder, Kazuya would quietly slip out of the dojo. With The Flame Battalion stationed and residing in the dojo itself, and considering Kazuya lived in the heart of Dragon Territory, about the only thing he had to worry about was Kaori waking up and not seeing her daddy nearby, and even that itself wasn't too worrisome, as Kuro was curled up beside Kaori, and just the sight of the black cat was enough to placate Kaori's crying and lull her back to sleep.
With his helmet set upon his head, Kazuya would slowly and silently move through the shadows, making his way towards the Leon's Lightning Tower, and quietly reaching the throne room, he'd deliver Leon's present. He'd then move onto David's command center for The Sky Force, and reaching the tent unobstructed, would deliver David's present. Last up in Dragon Territory, was Jack. Kazuya had no fear of treading in the man's territory, or the many members that made up his group, and would get in, get out, delivering Jack's present successfully.
With Dragon Territory done, now came perhaps the most difficult and time consuming delivery on his list. Though sunrise was still hours away, Kazuya would make his way towards the boundary of Dragon Territory as quickly as he could, and pass on through to Crows Territory, which is when he would slow down, and begin moving silently and undetected through the shadows. His destination? Delilah's place of residence. It was slow moving, but eventually, he reached her place unseen and with time to spare. Picking the lock, he'd quietly slip inside and placing the long box he had carried under his arm and bag filled with a box of ornaments and Delilah's present down quietly, he'd pull the pieces of the fake Christmas tree he had acquired out and begin setting it up in the living room.
Once he had finished setting it up, he'd then grab the box of ornaments and start hanging the ornaments up. By the time he was done, he was exhausted, but quite pleased with his decorating job. His job here done, now there was only one thing left to do... and that was place Delilah's gift under the tree. Once he had delivered Delilah's present beneath the tree, and picking up the now empty bag, giving the room a once over, satisfied he had left no traces that he had been here behind, he'd quietly slip out of Delilah's place, closing the door behind him with a gentle click.
"... Merry Christmas Delilah..."
On Christmas morning, three particular members of the Dragons gang would find a present each waiting for them.
A medium sized white box tied with yellow ribbon would be found on top of the seat of Leon's throne addressed: To Leon : From Santa
A medium sized but somewhat heavy white box tied with green ribbon would be found on top of the table normally used for maps and strategies in David's tent addressed: To David : From Santa
A small white box tied with light blue ribbon would be found at the door of Jack's headquarters addressed: To Jack : From Santa
And finally, in Crows Territory, a large white box that, from a distance, looked normal enough, tied with red ribbon, but upon closer inspection, the box had four large holes poked on the box, one on each side, and addressed: To Delilah : From Santa
