There was an intruder in Crow Territory.
But then, if nobody sees the person, could they be sure it was an intruder? Of course, the young Dragon didn't need to do a stealth 'infiltration', considering the territory the Crows had claimed - despite their wall and patrols - also had gates that let people in and out with few problems thanks to their watchful eyes. But that was the point, now. Get in without being seen, without them knowing.
Which, such a task combined with her power was easy. Even without her power she could simply walk through the gates on the premise of trade, but that wouldn't do much good if she was just let in. Perhaps later she would test her skill by not using powers or the gates. The benefits the Crows had were that they controlled a smaller, more manageable territory and thus, could efficiently swap and supply a well-maintained guard.
It seemed to be an ordinary day. And, by all counts, it was.
Kiyr was drifting in some of the more connected shadows, waiting for random people to pass through so she could hitch a hide to a new shadowed location and continue her own little tour of Crow Territory.

There was an intruder in Crow Territory.
And Marcus could taste it. He had been taking a nice midmorning nap on a rooftop somewhere, his senses cut loose and expanded around him as he 'felt' his surroundings when he felt it. A Power level that was relatively low, but high enough and unfamilier enough to warrent investigating when none of the checkpoints called anything in.
So off on the hunt he went, wandering the streets clad in his usual wear, Bomber Jacket over short sleeve shirt with blue jeans and his trademark flatcap overtop of a mane of wavey brownish red hair tied back in a ponytail. He wandered along, making his way to the point where he felt the signature, but could see nothing as he approached one of the checkpoints, the traffic as horrendous as it usualy was. A Nessisary precaution in times of war.
The Signature felt close, but there was noone in sight who could match it. So for now, leaning on a lampost, Marcus would watch as the refugee's, traders and other various people slowly bled into his city. Watching them with a friendly if critical eye.

The people were an interesting point to watch. And watch them she certainly did. Unlike the Wolf stalking her, however, Kyrie could only look at them with suspicion from her world of deep shadow and silvery light. There were just so many.
'How do they even think they could be safe..? It seems like either they have some thick rose-tinted glasses, or they are overconfident. Of course, it could be different.'
Kyrie would not discount that it could be other reasons. Infiltrating a well-guarded territory could be more difficult, but as a citizen? Even with most of the populace on the alert, an adept could easily bypass it. And from there? Who knew.
It was upon more scrutinized watching of this checkpoint that the face, attire, and posture of someone familiar to her caught her eye. She knew him. That insane 'spar'. The one that crash-landed upon David. Knew Delilah. Marcus.
Kyrie changed the angle to begin edging through the crowd, weaving carefully, and sometimes being carried a little too far one way or another. While she still watched the people she walked under, she also watched him when she could see him.
Curious.
Was he waiting for someone..? Or was it something else?

The feeling was intensifying. Someone was here, someone who could stand above the rank and file. A Spy mabey? Marcus continued to wander, chatting idley to the soldiers stationed there about nothing in particular. What confused Marcus was WHERE he was catching that presence.
It was....on the ground? That just didn't make any sense at all. Either somebody was underground, which was possible but unlikely, or his senses were going crazy. Rubbing his forehead, The man let out a thoughtful grunt. It seemed that there was a mystery afoot!
Finaly, something to break up the monotany of the day!
Now, certainly Barker would be sending infiltrators into Anahiem. With the Help of his wolves Marcus tagged as many as he could and simply observed them. Using them to spread misinformation whenever he could. But most of them were regular people and they tended to use the main throughways anyway.
So who was making this signature?

Watching him was interesting. He seemed to be watching for something or someone. The person whose shadow she had slid in broke from the crowd before she could swap. It wouldn't bad been so bad if it was night. Playing with the shape of the shadow and multiplying the space using her own Qi would be easier and less noticeable. So she wandered along with her ride.
But she was interested to see what Marcus was looking for. Waiting for.
The person she was now with was middle-aged and rather unassuming; seemingly just a regular citizen, and it was entirely possible that was just that. Kyrie divided her attention between Marcus, her ride, and the surroundings she was immersed in. Because she had her self-imposed objectives and it wouldn't do to forget and neglect them.

It was moving now...... Marcus would wait a few minutes, appeare frustrated as he looked down at his watch and then shake his head, letting out a disgusted sigh before stepping off and making his way down the street, following the man who Kyr was Hiding under about fifteen feet behind.
He worked his brain as he moved. Whoever it was moved too fast for them to be underground, unless they could move through rock, but the power level was far too low for Mathew. There was obviously noone above either. Working through his memory banks, he would skim through the list of Qi's he had seen to see what would fit in this situation because obviously whoever this was remained hidden using less than conventional means.

The Wolf that was tailing her was clever, witty, and sly. One could almost hazard to call him a Fox instead of a Wolf. It likely could be mere coincidence that he stalked after the person she was tagging along with after looking at what could be a watch - from the distance she was at, she couldn't quite tell - and beginning to follow.
She didn't discount that...but at the same time, she was also wary and decided to keep an eye out for him. On him.
Even as she turned her eye to the person whose shadow she was in, figuring he looked innocent enough - 'Not that that means anything.' - but that she would watch him. He passed into shadow, and Kyrie sighed to herself. She was tempted to stray into the main shadow, but if Marcus was following her for some unfathomable reason, she didn't want to give herself away. Furthermore, if he was actually following her personal mode of transportation for some reason, she didn't want to let him out of her sight.
Not after the incident with those Barker soldiers in Dragon Territory. So she kept pace with him and when he stepped back into the light, she ensured that she was within the boundary before his shadow left that of the building. He turned down a side-street, and Kyrie tagged along, alternating between the man whose shadow she was in, her surroundings, and Marcus. This was, all things considered, interesting.

Eventualy Marcus' brain would make the connection. The signature had been sticking underneath the man or more specificaly, in his shadow, hopping to another piece of shade before back under his shadow again.
And there was only one person he knew who could do that.
Stepping up to the man he was tailing, Marcus would put a hand on his shoulder and spin him around. "Scuse me Sir. Grim Prasad on Official Business."
He would then look to the ground and speak in a firm voice. "Ooooh Kiyr. Front and center Shadow girl, if you don't mind. You have some 'Splaining to do."

Oh? Maybe Marcus was following the man, though the sneaking suspicion in the back of her mind stated otherwise. When he looked down, she knew, and cracked a grin to herself. It all made perfect sense, now...and it was a swing in the Crows' favour.
But she also knew one man could not be everywhere at once, which was just unfortunate and disadvantageous. But it was good to know there was something they had in case there were others like her that were less inclined to be friendly and honourable.
When Marcus called her out, the grin faded, and she stepped from the shadow, the trailing wisps clinging to her. In an affectionate way? Kiyr knew the answer, but, didn't deign to dwell on it. She pivotted on her heel to face the man she'd once stared down with a surge of steeled protectiveness for the man he had landed atop of, someone that had proven to become very important to her. Though she was nearly a full foot shorter than him, and easily half his weight, Kyrie seemed fearless as she lifted her fist over her heart, and inclined herself forwards, slightly.
Dragon Bow.
But just in case, she kept her peripheral vision on the citizen. Caution first.
"Greetings, Marcus."
He had not said what she was explaining--it could have been numerous things on top of the understood 'Why and what are you doing?'. Like she should explain blood types - ...something I need to go over with, with Rai...' - or why the sky was blue.

"That's Grim Prasad to you Little Dragon Until I say so." Marcus replied bluntly, speaking with a friendly smile that did NOT extend to his eyes as his nostrils flared. She may not be behaving with petulance, but the fact she did not even have the grace to be embaressed by the fact she was found out sneaking around His neck of the woods itched him in the angry spot.
Breaking eye contact with the little Tricksy hobbit to give a pointed stare at the man she had been 'shadowing' until he got the hint and stumbled off, Marcus looked back down on the slip of a blonde.
"You try to sneak into Anaheim, Greet me formaly while Adressing me informaly. All without a hint of shame." He let out a curt laugh. "You got balls, I'll give you that. Any particular reason you didn't want to be seen today?"

Calm blue eyes stared up at Marcus without a hint of guile. And yes, no shame. She did, at his first words, incline herself in another bow of respect.
"I apologize for my ignorance of your full name and title, Grim Prasad. I shall strive for excellence in the future."
She straightened to watch impassively as he warned the man away but did not move to say he was wrong for doing so. No, in fact, it was for the best. She met his gaze unflinchingly as he stared down at her.
"I, however, give no apology for my mock infiltration into your Anaheim. After a visit not terribly long ago by the Storm Dragon, arrangements were made so that I would be working with First Crow, Delilah Black. Part of this is...seeing how easy it is to infiltrate despite your patrols, walls, and guarded gates." A pause, and a tiny smile touched her lips, though her tone was quiet as ever. "Thank you for proving there are those with very watchful eyes, over and above the norm."
She gave credit to the pats and gate guards, but there would have to be more.

"Unfortunatly as you've already proven, Men and women can only do so much against tricksy little dragons who can blend into shadows. Don't think the implications of the access you would have had have been lost on me if I hadn't had a stroke of luck to finding you first." He explained, crossing his arms over his chest as he gave an exasperated sigh.
Fortunatly that was where the Wolfpack came in. But Kiyr didn't need to know that litte ace up his sleeve. They Buried themselves into the city when they weren't out running missions, investigated and rooting out exactly the kind of threats the young blonde was refering to. The Departure from his original intentions with his personal guard had been a rocky one, but so far he was happy they had finaly begun to find thier niche.
"We do the very best we can with the resources available to us Little Dragon. And you can Tell that to your superiors."

"This was just a trial run to gather intel, as I normally would in any situation. I am pleased there is a way for the Crows to counter such abilities like mine. I fully intend on exploring other routes of making my way in. There are others that know to observe, first, and not simply walk in."
She fell to silence, tilting her head though her watchful gaze remained upon the taller man. He seemed tired, and understandably so.
"...I will, and I know. I admire the Crows' lands, and wish to keep them safe. Part of that means that I have to do this."

"Walk with me." Despite the commanding language, the tone would be almost gentle as Marcus gestured with his head up a random street and began to move without checking to see if the little blonde was following. His attitude seemed far more relaxed now, more causual despite maintaining the cloak of authority around himself. He didn't know Kiyr like he knew most of the other Dragons and so could not bring himself to be informal as per usual.
"I wont lie, The crows would greatly appreciate having a copy of the results of your infiltration excersizes." An indirect request. Better that then to ask directly and appeare desperate. He would then cast a glance to the small blonde. "For the sake of cooperation of course."

Kiyr obliged him, falling to step silently near him, just a pace behind but to his side. It would be terribly rude to simply turn away and blow Marcus off in his own land, where she was a guest, and indeed, infiltrator.
She listened, watching the line of his shoulders and his overall bearing before she expanded her stride to pull up next to him.
Those blue eyes blinked up at him, curiously, as he looked over. A faint hint of a smile touched her eyes and lips, and she responded, kindly: "You say this as if I would have the intent to withhold the information and put you all at risk."
It was not an accusation, but a ponderous statement.
Kiyr had not been speaking lightly - had been as far from joking as possible - when she stated that Barker could strike the Dragons through their alliance and personal attachments to the Crows.
"Over and above the sake of cooperation, I have no intention of leaving the Crows open to attack. I will indeed be bringing this information forward to you all, and I will work with those that I trust to devise some ideas that could be viable counter measures beforehand, and continue further with First Black. You should look to her, as, I will have to first bring them to her; which is nothing at all against you, but...protocol and decorum."
