"Yeah, there's a staircase that can take us all the way back down. The door locks from the inside at the bottom, so we couldn't take it up --"

"Waah!" Lucien jumped a bit at the camera went off, with all three boys in the frame. He absently wondered how many pictures were left in the camera. But, seeing as they had a few more minutes of sunlight, and Ari was still holding the camera above their heads, Lucien decided that it couldn't hurt.
So, scooting closer to Ari, and motioning for Saul Kelly to do the same, he smiled and prepared to actually take a picture that he had a normal face in.

Saul snickered at Lucien's reaction, starting to find the boy even a little endearing. At the other's request, the beast scooted in for a better picture, and smiled as wide as he could, hoping he didn't look mean or scary when the picture was developed. A recurring thought got to Saul, that it was so very strange that it took the world as civilians knew it to end for him to form bonds with people, and feel like part of something. But maybe utter destruction wasn't so bad if it meant friends.
Rolling onto his back, Saul pushed himself up into a kneeling position as his glided his fingers over the tips of the blades of grass, waiting to see if the other would follow. If not, after the sun nearly fully dipped past the horizon line, Saul would speak.
"Ready to go?" he grinned.

The arm around Saul's shoulder would pull him into a meager one-armed bear hug to pull the man closer to Ari's narrow chest while the teen leaned back onto Lucien a little, creating a sort of totem pole of the three of them together. Ari let a smile pull at the corner of his lips for the moment until the camera clicked again.
He leaned forward after Saul did, picking up on some unspoken signal that it was time to go, and put the camera back into the front pocket of his backpack. Ari zipped it up and lifted the bag back onto his shoulders as he stood, following whoever would lead in contented silence.

Lucien sat up, too, brushing himself off and making sure his hair was in place before standing up, leading the other two to the door that would lead to the stairwell.
The climb would be just as long, but much less daunting. When they reached the bottom, Lucien would unlock a giant latch on an old, rusted steel door frame. Once unlocked, the door would swing open with little difficulty, and reveal the last rays of the sun to the trio.
"Well, shall we part ways here, then? Or would you like me to escort you back to the border?" He smiled at the two men. Of course, he would prefer the latter, just in case they were caught by a patrol in between. But he knew the boys valued their privacy.

Saul, clumsy as a baby deer, had seemingly more difficulty with their descent than with the boys' previous method of approaching the building. Large, clawed hands grasped nervously at the metal railing that lined the stairs, refusing to trust his own balance for even a second. And it was a rather good plan, seeing as the banister was the only thing that kept the large man from toppling forward as he dizzied himself concentrating on the stairs.
When Saul reached the bottom, he would look to Ari to decide where Lucien would leave them, happy either way.

Ari glanced over to Saul, but finding that it was apparently his decision, let his gaze drift for a moment with his jaw slightly ajar in a silent 'uhhhh...'
"nah we're good to go, but thanks." Ari responded with a subtly cautious smile. Not that he minded the man's company, but they had to be so careful.
"thanks for showing us around and all. see you around," the teen smiled, reaching out his tiny fist for Lucien to bump if he wanted to. If the young man didn't quite catch on ari would simply let it turn into a little goodbye wave before he turned around and got back on his bike to pedal home with Saul at his side.

And Lucien was very happy to fist Ari. UH I MEAN-
As they said their goodbyes, Lucien nodded. "It was fun. See you later, Ari, Saul Kelly."
And he stayed silent as he watched them leave. Once they were out of sight, he raised a hand to his ear.
"Brother DeChain here. Another name for the list. Saul Kelly. Known associate; Ari."
{OOC: Super fun guys I know we're in a lot more threads but LET'S DO IT AGAIN SOMETIME.}
