"Well then... Wow. Just, wow. I just can't get me head around this. That George is actually real!" Ari ran her finger through her hair, then shook her head to clear the cobwebs. She looked warily towards the dazed Zax, then turned to Koshiro.
"Now I see what you have been busy with.... Wow." There was a thoughful look on her face. "So you went to college? What did you study?"

Zax shook his head. "I've gotta get me a drink." Zax got up and hopped over the bar and got him a vodka. He hopped back over and came to the table. He took a sip.
"PFOOOO!" He yelled as he spat it out towards the side. "YOU DRINK THIS STUFF?!" Zax pushed it back into the middle of the table. "AH! My throat burns! You can have it, Koshiro! That stuff is terrible!"

Koshiro grabbed it and drank it in one gulp.
"One. You have to be able to drink. Two, you are suppose to mix it." He motioned to the bartender who came over.
"What's your poison? .....hey wait a sec. Are they 21?" The bartender asked incredulously
Koshiro chuckled, his cheeks were starting to turn red.
"Barkeep, its the end of the world, does it really matter?" He said as he handed the man 15 dollars.
"I need a rum and coke, a scotch, and a pina colada."
"You got it"
He scutled off and mixed, a few minutes later he would return. He set the drinks on the table.
Koshiro grabbed his scotch, and passed the rum and coke to Zax. "Try this. "

"I think I'll just keep the coke." He said as he pushed the rum away and pulled the coke toward himself. "You want anything, Ari?"

"Astrophysicist eh? That is pretty neat!" Ari smiled. "High school... Only had one year of it before the bombs came down. Didn't care for it much, and it didn't care for me either. I was kinda the outsider of the school, but it didn't bother me too much. "
Then... Zax got a drink... Ari had a feeling this was gonna end badly for him, but said nothing. Let him learn from his own mistakes, not a warning. She thought to herself. Then, he took a sip, and it was all she could do to contain her laughter at his face before he spit the drink out. She composed herself quickly before he looked her way again. The bartender came over to ask for drinks, and asked about the ages. She smiled at him, and said "No, I'm afraid I'm not 21 yet, but I won't be drinking anything alcoholic today. Do you have a sweet tea?" The bartender would say he would go and check to see, and left to go get Koshiro's drinks.
When he returned with the drinks, he mentioned that they did indeed have a pot of tea. Ari asked for a glass, and he walked away to get it. She turned in time to see Zax push away the rum and ask his question. "Yeah, I just ordered something." She turned to Koshiro and asked curiously, "So who is the pina colada for? I may be wrong... But, you don't seem like a pina colada type of person. The bartender came back with her tea, and she dug in her pockets to find the required change. She paid him, then sat nursing her tea.

Zax was going to leave, but then Ari asked the question about his college and where he went afterwards, so he decided to stick around to hear his answer.

"Sweet!" Ari said. "I used to live in Texas but it's a big place, we probably didn't live very close." She got a faraway look in her eye, then she snapped back into focus. Taking a sip of her tea and sitting back in the booth, she said "Anyways, different topic... So how is your training with Rai coming along?" She turned to Zax as she spoke.
