Zax would successfully dodge the blood ball and it would still be heading for Yachiru!

Yachiru would slide underneath zax and hold herself up right behind him.
If the blood ball was still aimed directly at her, it'd have to go between zax's legs, and through his body.

Right as the blood ball was in between the two it split in half one hitting Yachiru in the side and the other hitting Zax in the back.

If they looked down they would see that the blood bal was circling them and as soon as they looked... It would tighten the invisible string tying them both together!

Yachiru bent her legs and attempted to kick off from zax. (assuming they're tied together at the mid section and back to back.)
