The sun was about to set. She wasn't sure what territory she was in, or how long she had walked...but Dad told her to leave the house. What he probably meant was somewhere in the vicinity, to get fresh air, to play in the grass...but she walked.

All the way to the coast.

Her feet were dipped in the water, a light ocean breeze caressing her delicate porcelain skin. Those looking from the outside would call her fragile.

The winds shifted and the 5'1" girl tensed.

[Mr. Kaar]

This man would walk out from his place alone and approach.

"No need to be scared if you are. I was patrolling and simply could not ignore your appearance especially due to current events. So, I am Yun Knight of the Lightning Dragon."

[Jenesis E.]

Despite his peaceful approach, the small blonde was briefly struck with terror. It had been so long since she had been alone with a stranger.

"I-I see."

At his title, however, she would visibly relax. A knight? Then..he was a good person, right?

"I'm Jenesis."

The waves began to splash against her calves. She stared, one red eye and one blue looking inquisitively. Current events?

"Am...am I not supposed to be here?"

Yun would scratch his head through his blue hair and simply speak.

"Well, as it where, Jenesis, the whole world is at war, on the brink of destruction and survival as difficult as climbing mountains... Yet you seem... Peaceful."

[Jenesis E.]

Oh. War with her master Barker.

Yes, she...she of all people knew all too well. She was with The Children, now- not only under their protection but one of them. But even more formidable...was Daddy.

"..I am free."

A small smile would cross her lips.

"Survival...seems to be on my side."

She would turn to face him, fully, to show that he had her full attention.

Despite the outward calm, the inward...a storm.

The tide was beginning to pick up as it crashed against her legs. Perhaps...soon, it would swallow her whole.

[Mr. Kaar]

Yun would look at her face feeling the girls aura, seemed there was more than meets the eye... He was put on edge a bit, but decidedly stayed silent about it.

"Hmm, well How about if I gave you a gift? Its only polite since you've walked into our territory. It may even help you survive longer."

[Jenesis E.]

A gift of survival?

Her left foot would step forward, and then right...cautious of approaching him, but curious of his offer. She would close the distance, her head tilting up to look at Yun who towered over her.

"Is it a safe gift??"

Because she was sure daddy would not like it if she brought home a bomb.

"From my understanding its a 'Gamble'. A fruit that will give you strength and the like, but it has the chance of doing harm too. For myself it did wonder, but for my Lord, it took away his ability to see."

Would Lady Luck, then, be on her side as well? Jenesis had her hands behind her back, feet rocking onto her heels before going on her tippie toes, weighing her options...

"Do you think I should take it?"

Asking a complete stranger. Large, curious doe-like eyes would look up at him.

The innocence.

What would daddy do...

"It is I who wish to give it to you, am I not? But think about it carefully. Dont simply jump at it on a whim."

He warned.

A moment of silence would pass between the two as she weighed her options. She held out her two hands and stared at them-

On one hand, it could be a gift of survival.

On the other, it could be detrimental to it...

But survival has been on my side.

She looked back up at him, and smiled.

"I would like this gift."

[Mr. Kaar]

Yun would pull a golf ball sized orange fruit from his bag, and give it to her.

"Be careful."

[Jenesis E.]

She held the fruit carefully in her small delicate hands. Such a small item...containing the power to help and destroy?

Still looking at the fruit, she would ask:

"Do I eat it all...?"

Peel it? Eat it whole? Depending on his answer...she would follow his instructions.

Carefully.

[Mr. Kaar]

Yun would nod and wait.

Jenesis would find the fruit to be the most delicious fruit in existence.

-Jenesis Qi potential unlocked

-Jenesis gains manipulation of the Earth. To include, wood, plants and, stone.

-Jenesis now rejuvenates and can heal all wounds once per thread as long as she makes physical contact with an earth element.

-Jenesis can take the remaining life in a plant and transfer it to someone else to heal them.

Little Jenesis was a sucker for sweet things. As soon as she bit into the fruit, she wanted to quickly devour it...but also knew she wouldn't be getting another. She let the flavor settle into her mouth.

"Mmm.."

But she felt funny. Not in a bad way...but a surge of newfound senses seemed to deafen the petite half German. Like she was drowning.

The water's residue against her legs, the Earth beneath her feet...overwhelming, yet she had never felt so one with nature before. She felt completely in her niche. For a girl who's been an experiment for 99% of her life, she had never felt so...so natural.

Her eyes turned into crescent moons from smiling turned to look at Yun...thankful.

"...mister Yun, I think you've done me a great--"

What was that word again... Oh!

"--honor. I...I am not quite sure...how to repay you for your kindness!"

Formal speech was not something she was very well accustomed to. Most of her dialogue come from speaking with daddy. Sometimes she spoke with The Children, but most of the time kept to herself.

But she wondered...she stepped into Dragon's territory, but he gave her a gift? From what she could remember, that was not really the social norm. Was there ulterior motive? Or... Or was he really just very kind?

Regardless, she was very thankful- from the bottom of her heart, so very thankful.
