Leon would listen to Marcus' tone before stepping forward and thwaking him open palm on the back of the head.
"Like I trained you, deep breath, treat it like a muscle, remember how it felt and force it to happen again. Likewise to stop it from happening."

Marcus' anxiety had caused him to begin building up for another blast, the fissures of light cracking over his flesh yet again until Leons 'Probie smack' knocked him out of it, the cracks breaking out over his body slowly beginning to close back up again.
Leon was right though, He had to Calm the fuck down NOW before he blew himself up again. Taking deep breaths, holding it in before exhaling, he eventualy slowed his racing heart down enough to be able to think. 'Ok, Treat it like a muscle, remember how I did it before.'
He could still feel it, the energy running through his veins like syrup. Was this what Qi was then? Was this what it felt like? "It feels like....Like something new is flowing inside me....." He spoke tentatively, already sounding calmer than he was a moment ago. From his heart to the very tips of his fingers and back, it felt like to Marcus as if he had suddenly become hyper aware of his own circulatory system.
Now for the rather Nerve wracking attempt to remember what he did to explode, without ending up exploding again. "It felt like.....It was comming from my stomach." He began to explain, putting a hand to his taut belly. "Then it moved up to my chest and just.....Grew. Like a Pressure building up inside, flooding my chest. Felt like it was gonna rip me apart if I didn't let it out."
'Remember how it Felt and Force it to happen again.' He felt a liquid warmth in his guts which didn't fill until he began to imagine his stomach as a well of Qi that he needed to draw from until he began to feel that pressure again building up inside. Slowly he would draw forth his Qi, worried about building up too much too fast like he did before. Now how to get it into his chest? Or mabey that wasn't a good idea considering what happend before. Could he even control where it went in the first place? So far it just seemed to run throughout his entire body.
Bringing up his hands infront of himself, palms facing each other, Marcus began to imagine transfering the energy. For awhile nothing happened. For awhile longer, that didn't change. He was still anxious, Mabey worried about damaging the place even more? Taking another deep set of breaths to calm himself, Marcus once again tried to send the energy into his hands, stopping only to pull his gloves off and stuff him into his coat pocket. Once again the cracks began to form on the top of his skin, spilling light and making the air shimmer like heated asphault in the summertime.
"Ok. This right here? This is a good start right here." Now the question was, how did he get it to explode. Or do anything for that matter. Suddenly the light emitting from his hands began to darken and turn black, the shimmer becomming oily and shadowy. "Ooooh SHIT Ok.....Ok That's Different now. What the Fuck?" Instead of panic, Marcus was more intrigued as he began to mutter to himself while waving his hands in a figure eight, watching with a critical eye as the shadowy whisps moved and danced. Bringing his hands together, He could have sworn he saw the shadows begin to form in the middle between his palms. Concentrating on that point, Marcus noticed that a ball of Shadowy oily energy was beginning to form. "Well would you look at that. Scuse me for a sec Sensei."
Spotting the window he snuck in through, Marcus made his way over with shadow ball in hand and took a Rather familier stance. "HaaaaaaaDOKEN!" Flinging his hands forward, Marcus somehow sent the ball of Shadow flying through the air like a rocket shot until it eventualy snuffed itself out with a faint poomf, illiciting an excited fit of laughter from the man. So it would seem he could gather up energy and project it outward. But why Shadow and Explosives Specificaly?
"Hey Leon Sensei? How does ones Qi be decided?"

Leon would 'watch' in silence as Marcus found his own way through the ordeal until he finally grasped it in the funnier ways in his own opinion. Before asking a simple, yet complex question.
"Thats one of the things I'm still learning about Qi, being a local expert if I do say so myself. Basically its the truest form of a person turned into physical or extra-physical form. I think it is a mix of personality and true feelings. Everyone feels every emotion, some of us feel certains ones more than others."

Marcus always had been a fast learner when it came to Martial arts. It also helped that Leon always knew what to say to trigger Marcus' brain and make him run through connecting thought processes that jumped entire rows of steps to get to the end result. In Short, Leons teaching style seemed to be to wind Marcus up and let him go.
Whatever works right?
Mulling over his Sensei's words, he found himself wondering how Explosions could be a manifestation of his personality or true self. It was true he was energetic and Passionate, but explosions? Actualy now that he thought about it, it DID kind of make a strange kind of sense. Sometimes there really where days he wished he could just explode with all that enthusiasm he kept under pressure.
"An expert huh Sensei?" Marcus asked, intrigued and wondering where Leon could have gained all this knowledge. "If that's the case, then is there anything else I need to know? What else can you tell me cause I'm not gonna lie, what I dont know about Qi can fill three warehouses."

"All Qi's have a weakness. There is a counter part to you somewhere that can easily avoid you, or negate you all together. When this happens, Qi will be useless for you. The same applies vise versa. Since your Qi does it automatically there is no need for me to push you to train it internally to augment yourself."
Leon would raise his hands at this and shrug.
"Though if we where to sit and discuss the things I have learned about Qi, it would take days, instead... I'll give you a book."
Leon would tilt his head and Chris would leave to retrieve a book.
"This is a handwritten explanation of many things I have learned, not all, but most."
Inside would not only be full page notes, but diagrams of the human body, the flow of Qi, Chi, Ki, and Chakra from all the different cultures, a list of over a hundred different Qi's he has run into and studied during combat. Explanations of special Qi's that only form once every couple years, and the current known listed effects of the Gamble Fruit. Many of the pages containing side notes of corrections or adjustments to theories.

Marcus took one second to admire the worn leather cover before immediately tucking the tomb under his arm and moving towards the window. "Hope you don't mind, Gonna enjoy the sunshine while I devour this thing."
Slipping out, Marcus would rest his rear onto one of the support struts, stretching his legs along it with his back to the smooth stone of the tower itself.
And from there his eyes would consume every written word on every page.
