-OOC: Hey, anyones allowed in but I would like it if anyone wants to be an 'enemy' of anyone to keep this encounter as peaceful as possible, thanks! maybe around five people for this thread, maybe more if you can find a way to fit your character in.-
Masaru was beginning this day as usual before his first day to school, meditating. he picked a nice quiet spot to meditate in the school while thinking over strategems and wisdom quotes hoping to meet new people and make friends today.
Reflective thinking turns experience into insight. A generous man forgets what he gives and remembers what he receives. Though we have heard of stupid haste in war, cleverness has never been seen associated with long delays. The best cure for anger is delay.
Slowly Masaru loses track of what he is thinking and mainains a passive stance but tries to look like he wouldn't mind if people interrupt is meditation.

There was something nostalgic about walking down the empty hallways in the school, it was not comforting or pleasant, it was the nasty kind of nostalgia. It didn't quite pop-up into the girl's mind until she reached one without windows, the Rehabilitation Center. The pale halls with the occasional student passing by reminded her of it, she wasn't sure quite why, but it did. In her head, the diminutive girl knew she should try to sprout conversation, try to talk, try to communicate. It was all part of her rehabilitation, anyways. But in the blatant truth, she didn't want anything to do with these people, she just wanted to keep her mouth shut, stare at her blank surroundings and think to herself. Brown eyes flicked around to take in the scenery, her gold ring and flecks shining brightly in the light as if they were small mirrors in her eyes. If eyes were the mirror to ones soul, one could easily tell that this one was confused a bit overwhelmed with her surroundings.
Homeschooling was so much better than this, much more time on her hands, no due dates... ever since... no, stop. Don't go that far. The girl pulled her her hands and smacked her forehead violently, her bright hair shaking lightly with each impact. When she finally ceased, her head picked up and she noticed she came to a more populated area of people and blinked with confusion. Walking and thinking to deeply was a bad habit of hers, and it often got her lost, she never paid any attention to where she walked, she just moved. It was weird, but it was how she rolled. Either way, her claustrophobia was starting to set in, and she wasn't looking like she was handling it well. A wild twitch started on her eyebrow and people brushed passed her before she threw her arms into the air and ran away from the crowded hallway like demons were nipping at her heels, she was a speedy runner after all.
Sliding to a stop, the girl looked around, noticing she finally escaped the crowd. Sighing with relief, the young woman stood up straight and examined the surroundings again. Practically no one, which was good, however a few people dotted the hallways, that was a lot better for her. Perhaps this was a good time to at least try to get some social-contact in, at least. She decided to pick the first person she saw, someone sitting and meditating quietly.... though it looked like he was lacking eagerness in his practice. The brightly-clothed girl approached his and looked at him, her hands hanging by her sides as she looked at him. With a blink, not sure if she was noticed or not, she prodded him lightly in the knee with her foot. "Uhm.. Hello, I'm Arim... why are you meditating in a hallway?"..

"Uhm.. Hello, I'm Arim... why are you meditating in a hallway?"
Masaru quickly jumped out of meditation. What to do next? for his whole life, Masaru has never spoken to anyone around his age, and since he recently came to america, doesn't know how he should reply... Quick, think think!
Charm and ingratiate yourself to your enemy. When you have gained his trust, you move against him in secret. Create confusion and use this confusion to further your own goals.
Masaru quickly thinks up and discards strategems he has learned... I can't screw something like this up! Masaru quickly says the first thing that comes to mind.
"The highest form of wisdom is kindness... Uhm I mean, Hello, I'm Masaru, I'm meditating here because, Uhm, it is an ideal location with peace and quiet. What brought you to this hallway?"

Olesya left the music room humming to herself, her bass guitar strapped to her back. She'd just been practicing soft riffs she thought up for her new band, so was so pumped, the creativity just seemed to want to keep flowing until sh was mentally exhausted. She'd been in there practicing nearly an hour before classes started and figured that would do for now.
She ran a hand through her spunky auburn hair, making her way down the hallway en route to her locker when the conversation of the boy and girl she was passing caught in her ears.
'The highest form of wisdom is kindness..uhm, I mean, Hello, I'm Masaru, I'm meditating here because, Uhm, it is an ideal location with peace and quiet. What brought you to this hallway?'
"Those are some wise words right there."
Olesya couldn't help but comment with a grin as she turned to the two students. Kindness was a rare commodity, as she had told the boy named Zachariah when they'd met in the hospital. Those who mastered it were the ones who would live to be most fulfilled. And wise, as the boy Masaru had pointed out.
"Sorry to budge into your conversation, I'm Olesya."
She apologized, introducing herself to the boy and girl with a slight wave.

[[Note-- Sorry about the delayed reply. xD; I was at a friends house (didn't sleep until 5) then went to work, no time to post until now]]
Well, that was a bit abrupt...
Arim stared forward at Masaru, her lips puckered a bit when he had suddenly popped out of his meditation, looking like he was desperately trying to find something to say. Arim did not find this motion strange at all, seeing all the colourful people she's met before, this wasn't any bother. If anything, it was a little cute. Perhaps he was a bit like her, and a bit inexperienced in the social areas? Nah, she couldn't make that assessment quite yet, further analysis is needed before biases start spewing out. The Korean girl tilted her head to the side and a faint, but noticeably warm smile tugged at her lips. There was wise words to stand by there, she could definitely admire that, kind of sounded like familiar poetry to her. Though all she could recall reading as a child was Edgar Allen Poe. "Aha... Sorry! Didn't mean to scare you there, I was always an annoying one, please pardon me... But either way, pleased to meet you, Masaru" as the girl apologized, she pulled her hand up and waved a bit. The last thing she wanted to do was frighten people wit-less before she even begun to actually attempt a social life.
"Aaah... meditating, clears the mind, feeds the soul. Meditating is nice... but, I don't like the silence, it--" Arim seemed to come to a pause in her speech, like she had just caught a slip up and skidded to a clumsy stop, but tried to quickly recover. "I'm actually... lost... You see, I was trying to get a small tour of the school before I started out and, well... it's bigger than I thought it would be" while she was talking, her dark brown eyes flicked around to examine the school once again, the large pale walls seemed suffocatingly small again. "I've never been in school before, then I came to this really crowded hallway-- I don't like loud nosies either-- and got scared and ran and... well... here I am...". Somehow, Arim felt like that her coming to the hallway should have been a bit more... well, epic. Something about speeding down the hallway practically screaming from fright didn't seem to help her look any more normal than she was supposed to accomplish.
The blonde turned when another voice had entered the vicinity, a rather rocker-esque looking female (Rocker? Was that even the right term? Gah, forget it) entering into their conversation. She couldn't help but notice her bright hair standing out along with her large guitar on her back. Arim wasn't too familiar with instruments, especially guitars, but she never had a problem with such either. A hand pulled up to Arim's chest and she clutched the arm of her tote-bag with one, while waving back with the other. "Not at all, I never considered three a crowd, anyways. Nice to meet you, Olesya, if you haven't heard already, I'm Arim".

"Sorry to budge into your conversation, I'm Olesya." "Not at all, I never considered three a crowd, anyways. Nice to meet you, Olesya, if you haven't heard already, I'm Arim".
Masaru quickly hid his shocked face after noticing that he did not only meet one person, but two today! three was a crowd in his books because he never talked to even one person his age for more than a sentence before! Quick, calm.. calm down Masaru! Whats even worse is the fact that both the people in question were of the opposite sex! Masaru had no idea how to treat a female other than his mother, so he quickly tried to make some sense of his teachings into real life situations.
Change brings freshness. Maintain presence of mind, do not let yourself be intimidated by yourself or others.
"Uhm, yes... The more the merrier! Some people thinks there are reasons why things happen, maybe we were destined to meet in this fashion. By the way, thanks for the compliment... Ive uhm.. spent a long time memorizing qoutes of wisdom. I'm Masaru, nice to meet you too."

Well then, if that wasn't a conniption than Arim wasn't sure what was is. He seemed to be quite flustered with her and Olesya there, perhaps thsi individual wasn't as socially experieced as she had guessed. Wait, no, BAD ARIM. The korean mentally slapped herself as she stared blankly forward down the hallway, scolding herself for turning her thoughts back like that again... stupid brain. Her thoughts always lingered, she was always quite a deep thinker and hated it, made her mind go off track quite a lot. The girl blinked when she finally snapped back to reality. She placed her hand on her his and waved with the other as if brushing it off, "Nothing wrong with quotes, always little pieces of infinite wisdom, I suppose". Nodding to him, she smiled widely, "Nice to meet you, Masaru". The girl turned her head again and glanced down the hall as if she was thinking hard before her eyes flicked to Masaru, "Soo... why a hallway of all places? I mean... kind of a weird place to meditate... I mean-- I DON'T meditate but... you get my point".

-OOC: shouldn't we give @lly have a chance to talk some? - "Soo... why a hallway of all places? I mean... kind of a weird place to meditate... I mean-- I DON'T meditate but... you get my point" Hmm, that was an interesting question. After getting over the shock of first real contact with people his age, Masaru seemed to calm down quite a bit. He answered her question quickly without hesitation. "Well, at first I wondered why I myself was meditating in a hallway, but then I noticed that even though it is quiet most of the time, there are times when it can get rather loud when crowds go through. It is challenging to stay in a meditating state when there are sudden distractions and I like challenges. Don't think that I think of you two as distractions though, I was going to stop meditating soon anyway, was losing patience after sitting here the last several periods, and was going to start looking for something to do."

[ooc: Sorry! I've been insano-busy this week with finals and everything, but I'm posting quick so I dont hold up your thread <3]

Oleysa smiled mildly as the two talked about meditation. Olesya didn't really meditate per say, but she did lounge on the roof of her converted firehouse home whenever the weather was nice and play music, or just think, letting the natural sounds of the greenhouse and the artificial sounds of the streets below lull her into a state of deep thought.
"Did you two say you were lost?"
She asked, circling back to what she had heard them mention a tad earlier. That would explain why she didn't recognize the pair, they seemed to be new.
"I pretty much know this place like that back of my hand, where do you need to go?"
Oleysa grinned, holding out her hand and turning it so they could see the back of her hand for emphasis, a few notes jotted in her loopy scrawl dotted across it. She withdrew her hand and shoved it casually into her pocket, leaning on her opposite hip as she stood.

"I seeeeeee" seemed to be the only thing Arim commented about the meditation, it was a bit off to Arim, but then again she wasn't one for meditation. She was really one for silence in general, but that was just her. Somehow trying to achieve that in a noisy hallway congested with loud, obnoxious, smelly (the list goes on) teenagers didn't quite seem ideal to her at all. Then again, she wasn't the one meditating, now was she? Not like she could have a proper perspective.
Arim turned to the girl and blinked, she nodded a few times before fidgeting with her hands a bit. "Err.... uhm.... yeah! Yeah... I'm pretty new... and pretty lost... I thought I would just try and take a good look at the school for myself and... well, this stuff happens" she explained before turning to look down the hallway and sighing, "This school is bigger than I thought, I suppose...". Her eyes remained on the empty hallways and long-past-expiry-date lockers before turning back to the two and looking at Oleysa. Her hand had a bunch of writing scrawled onto it, which made Arim blink. She never quite seen anyone who writes on their own hand with notes before. The blonde pulled her gloved hand up, the baggy red material falling to her elbows to reveal the long gloves. She flexed the black fingers before dropped them back at her sides, concealed by the sleeves once again.
"Well, I don't really have to be anywhere too, too important... I don't want to impose" Arim started, before a question drifted to mind. "...Olesya, you must have been at this school for quite some time."

(OOC: this is all inside Masaru's head, thought i'd post in here just to make sure it hasn't died or anything ) "...Olesya, you must have been at this school for quite some time." Masaru watched silently as he waited for Olesya to reply. 'Hmm, maybe I said too much on the thing about meditating... sometimes I go a little too far when trying to explain. Oh well, cant take anything back.' Masaru thought to himself after giving Arim a huge speach about how he liked to meditate. 'Msybe I should have said something different, most people think my way of meditation is wierd since it was kinda oxymoronical. I couldn't say the only reason I was meditating in this hallway was because I felt if I waited here someone would start a conversation with me, could I?' after thinking things, Masaru kinda looked embarrassed, but it was too late now to change what he said.
