Rai's counter would have been impressive had he the strength, speed and reaction time to actualy be able to pull it off. Instead Marcus would simply pull his leg in towards himself and hopefully yanking the young Sudeki off of his center of balance, leaving him vulnerable to a sudden roundhouse kick to the side of the head hard enough to send the poor boy skipping accross the parking lot.
"Close, but not quite."

www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0tLN22mMlURai recovered quickly, pissed now. Glaring at Marcus he activated his Qi, blood exited his body and began swirling around him. Rai was about to attack when Delilah words popped into his head chastising him for attacking while angry. Standing up Rai made gun out of his hand and aimed it at Marcus' right hip. Focusing all his Qi to the single point on the end of his finger, as fast as he could so Marcus didn't attack him. All the blood drained from his skin and the air around him all going right into his forefinger that acted as a gun barrel. A small black bullet would from at the end of his finger. Then Rai fired at his intended target. (OOC: Cha for attack 45, Enlightenment: When Rai focus' on a single attack with his Qi he gets a +5 to Cha. Rai learned enlightenment by talking to Delilah.)

"Are you fucking kidding me?" Marcus muttered to himself as he watched Raikotsu power up his attack. The motion of pointing at him tipped Marcus off as to what was to come. Instinctively the man could tell he wouldn't reach Rai in time to strike first, so instead he decided to give the lad a chance to show his stuff.
Marcus would pull up his front foot, knee pulled up to his chest with his side facing Rai. As the young Sudeki fired his shot, he would then suddenly hop forward, planting his lead foot hard into the ground as he let loose with a roundhouse kick straight into the path of the projectile, striking the shot thanks in part to careful calculations and plenty of luck. The sensation was like having a railroad spike punched clean through his foot but the man managed to grit his teeth and fight past the pain, deflecting the shot offside and over the horizon.
Shaking his foot out, feeling it slowly go numb, Marcus spat off to the side and gave Rai a disapproving look. "So what you're telling me is you hope I can get you're eye back for you? Cause as things stand right now I doubt you would last even a full minute before she has you disemboweled and hung from a streetlight. Common Rai, I expected better from a Sudeki!" He snarled as he began to walk back towards the young man. His shoes barely making a sound on the asphalt of the Parking lot. "You know I actually got alittle excited when I saw you swirling the blood around, wanted to see what you would come up with but this? Lacked imagination, Telegraphed to ALL hell and for FUCKS sakes did you ACTUALLY think you could do anything to me with a SINGLE HIT?!?!??!"
By this point Marcus was almost nose to nose with the young Sudeki who could surely feel his hot breath against him. "Frankly? I'm insulted." Turning his back on Rai, he began to walk a few paces away before whirling around. "Again. And this time put some god damn OOMPH into it for christs sakes! This is a FIGHT not a fucking SPELLING BEE!"
Despite looking and sounding like a disgruntled Badger, Inwardly Marcus was smirking. He had seen a spark light up after that last blow he had dealt the lad before it got snuffed out. Something was holding the boy back and he fully intended to stoke the fire until it burned into an inferno.

Exhausted, hurt, and brain jumbled Rai was still not ready to back down. Then he heard it.
"I expected better from a Sudeki!"
Rai could stand a physical beating no problem, but he WOULD NOT take a beating to his Sudeki pride!
"AHHHH!"
Rai's eye would be glaring at Marcus, the pendent embedded in Rai's chest would begin to glow a bright blood red from the surge of Qi being forced out of Rai's body. Black blood again began to rapidly seep out of Rai's arms forming a floating Kunai in the air outside of his forearms, then another one would appear, then another, until there were 4 kunai floating outside of each arm, making 8 in total, connected to him and each other by and extremely thin blood line that would be invisible to the naked eye. His skin would start to turn black as his blood armor began to cover his body again.
He would then charge at Marcus willing the kunai to go around the sides of Marcus as Rai came in from the front. Rai would swing his fist in an attempt to uppercut Marcus, while at the same time willed the Kunai to attack 2 would attack his left leg one aimed for behind the knee and the other would go for his thigh, 2 more would attack his right leg with the same targets, as the other 4 would attack his arms aiming to cut muscle. Marcus wanted to Rai get angry, well it had worked.

Pride. The one thing Sudeki's and Prasad's had in common. Watching Rai get all fired up reminded Marcus of Spike, which sent a jolt of adrenaline running through his spine as that internal smirk pushed its way to the surface and fixed itself firmly on the man's lips. As the blood knives began to form and float into position, that smirk quickly turned into a full blown toothy smile.
"Oh my, now THAT'S what I'm talking about!" Strange. How were those things floating like that? Nevermind, the fun was about to begin as Rai charged. Attacking from so many angles at once was a good plan and forced Marcus on the Defensive as he kicked himself back to avoid the Uppercut, tucking his legs up with his knees tight to his chest to evade the lower knives as he leaned his upper body back into a low flip as the upper knives sailed perilously close overhead, landing into a deep crouch with his left leg extended and acting as a brake as he skidded a short distance.
THAT had to have been the most precarious few seconds of his life that he could remember. 'Like dodging the jaws of a fucking shark' Marcus thought to himself, toothy smile still on his face, Painfully aware of how flatfooted he was at the moment. Rai could easily pour the pressure on and force him to take some hits, bogging him down into a drag out slug fest.
Marcus' 'Tornado Style' Relied heavily on mobility, space and evasion. Considering one needed thier feet on the ground for balance, getting into a slugfest with nothing but kicks was definitely a less than ideal situation and those knives could easily box Marcus in, forcing him to fight on Rai's terms and not his own. Those knives would make counterattacking a risky move as well even WITH Capoiera and despite probably being able to handle a few blows from the lad, the lessons learned from his younger years fighting in high school against some of the best of the best meant that Marcus was always keen never to let a single blow land, knowing that against a monster like Ghiste, Mathew, Stein, Leon, Xaier or even some of the people here in California like David Blaze, all it took was a single blow to lay him out flat.

Rai pounced as Marcus dropped to a skid, jumping into the air towards Marcus bringing his right elbow around in hopes to slam it into Marcus' nose. While at the same time he willed 4 of the blood blades to fly right for each of Marcus' thighs and the other four aimed to go into his sides though those would blunt on impact, if they hit, in hopes to crack at least one of Marcus' ribs.

"Fuck!" The man spat, the boy had FINALLY made him break a sweat, as he kicked himself backwards, twisting his body through the air and landing into a hard crouch before leaping forward into a tight roll, hopefully putting him to Raikotsu's side. By this point Rai's Raw skills were breaking the threshold, Convincing Marcus to stop holding back.
Which means it was time to dance.
From the young Sudeki's side, Marcus would try to Pirouette around to Rai's back, hoping to push the lad back onto the defensive by forcing him to twist around with Marcus and off his rhythm. From there he would step into a low heel sweep to the side of Rai's knee, then follow it up with a roundhouse kick as he came up to a standing position with his other leg, capping his attack off by pulling his knee into his chest like a Viper about to strike and unleashing a kick straight into Rai's torso.

This would have worked... If Rai stopped. But Rai would instead keep moving forward as if he was still trying to attack the area in front of him. Two of the blood kunai would fly past him though heading straight for where he was standing, and upon reaching the location they would exploade causing spikes of blood to fly in every direction, the blood spikes that flew towards Rai would immediately be adapted back into his body. As soon as the spikes blew up Rai would spin around and through 2 more kunai back at Marcus' location hoping to hit one of his thighs.

Still relatively unfamilier with the young Sudeki's blood Qi, Marcus was caught completely off guard as the two blood knives burts into hardened gore shrapnel. Thoughts of the contest gone the man immediatly brought one arm up to shield his face and with the other he would bring down to cover the side of his ribs as he went down on one knee and turned his head and body away.
After the needle shower was over he would turn his body back just in time to see the two kunai's shooting straight for him, which he swatted aside with a dismissive flick of his wrists. His entire right half was pincushioned with blood needles though thankfully they missed all his vulnerable fleshy spots such as his eyes, temples between his ribs and his groin.
"Now explain to me." He began calmly as he reached up and plucked a needle from his cheek. "How you allowed her to take your eye."

Rai paused but was still cautious and didn't let down his guard, partially because of Mathew's warning about knowing when a fight is really over and partially because he was still a little pissed about having his name tarnished. But he was beginning to sway a bit, he lost a lot more blood than he realized with that attack.
"Allow?! I didn't allow shit! I attacked her and attacked her until I passed out from blood loss, but she just... it was like she enjoyed me hurting her, she was laughing at me the entire time..."

"And what exactly does that tell you Nephew mine?" Marcus asked slowly, patiently as if he was speaking to a young child. He could have easily broken down EVERYTHING the little Sudeki did wrong into a comprehensive list, aye. But Marcus wanted him to work it out on his own. That was exactly how Leon Sensei taught him. He would apply the same methods to Rai here and now.
"Common now. Tell me Exactly what you did wrong."

Rai paused caught off guard but a little ticked at how Marcus was speaking to him, though he guessed he had earned that...
"I underestimated my opponent, did take time to analyze the situation or even see who it was I was fighting. I used my primary attack head on without thinking which left me without anything in back up to use as a surprise method, and I was stupid enough to get put in a situation where I lost a lot of blood... due to my using it."

Marcus actually jerked his head back in surprise. "Umm....Yeah. Took the words right out of my mouth actually." Putting his hands on his hips, the man gave Rai a pointed stare. He had already stung the Young man's ego enough. Time for the slightly more gentle touch.... "So now you know what to do for next time! NOW we put all that into practice. Hands out this time. Now an Unknown element is in play. Don't think what you saw when I fought all you guys a ways back means anything now. I am now an Unknown Variable. But you MUST fight me."
Marcus wouldn't Bother slipping into any stance, merely stand there with hands on his hips. "From my stance alone, what can you tell about me?"

Rai studied for a minute before speaking.
"If I didn't know you, and you were an unknown variable then I would think you were trying to pull off being smug, otherwise suggesting you must be pretty strong, and/or confident in your skills. That, or you are a by-standard without any intentions of joining the fight, but if I gave that answer I'd bet you'd make sure I quickly regretted my answer."

Marcus nodded his head. It seemed the young man was far more aware than he gave him credit for. "Good eye, good eye. Assess and respond appropriatly. How would you go about engaging an opponent like me? Walk me through your first set of moves and the thought process behind them."
