The Little Girl would look up at you with eyes full of despair. The Light of hope had long been snuffed out. After a moment of quiet she would utter a single Phrase.
"Nowhere is safe."
Before suddenly a Piercing inhuman Cry shook the very windows of the house. Before long you hear the patter smack of human feet on the roof. The other men in the other houses would hear the same thing.
Upon hearing the terrible wail, the young girl would SHRIEK and cover her ears. Babbling "They're Coming! They're HERE!" Over and over again.

"I run a refu-"
Before I could even finish speaking, a piercing shriek caught me off guard. And then the slam of boots crashing on the rooftop. Quickly, I pulled my gauntlet back onto my fist and grabbed the young girl. I put her over my shoulder as I ran through the side door of the house and into the open cul-de-sac. Luckily for me, my men were smart enough to back up and regroup as well.
"What's going on?! What are we up against here?!"
Jason masked his fear with anger. But I knew he wasn't up for a fight. Not like this. I thrusted the girl into Alan's arms.
"Barker experiments. Alan protect this girl. Jason protect Alan. Get out of the immediate area, and then I want you two to find one squad and have them escort Alan and the girl back to the Manor. Jason I want you to gather the remaining squads and make a full retreat. Do not come back for me."
"What are you say-"
"I SAID 'GO!' THAT'S AN ORDER!"
I masked my fear with anger. Not fear that I wouldn't make it out of this. But fear that my men would get hurt. I turned back to face the men standing on the houses. Looking back slightly, Alan and Jason would run back towards the other groups. I stood between the two forces hoping I would be able to be the wall I was acting like. Raising my hand up towards them, I motioned for them to come at me before pulling into a kenpo stance. I spread my feet at shoulder's length, my left foot would lead in front of my right and I held my left arm out stretched in front of me with an open palm. My right would stay in front of my chest with an open palm.

They were human.
Once.
They had pale, almost translucent skin and Were clad in nothing but scraps of clothing and rags, their bodies twisted and thick with lean muscle. Claws sprouted from the tips of thier wicked long fingers and sharp jagged teeth sprouted from crooked mouths that opened impossibly wide as they threw back thier hairless heads in a god awful shriek.
Ghouls.
Failed Experiments given another chance to be useful to the Tyrants cause through Trial and error Surgery, implants and further experimentation.
Ten crawled along the rooftop, moving to the edge leaping and spidering thier way to the ground.

Experiments... To think... at one point. I could have ended up like them... I was cast off as a failed experiment as a baby. Because of that I got to live life as a normal kid. Well... as normal as you can be as a billionaire with daddy issues that liked to get into street fights and went to the most violent school in New York. Okay maybe I wasn't normal. But this... this makes me look like as boring as Charlie Brown. Because we all know Snoopy carried that show.
Now, if anyone else was here, they would have killed me for this. I lowered my fists. Taking a deep breath, I took a neutral stance, standing normally. I took a step forward to them.
"My name is Shugo Yuy and I don't want to fight you. In fact, I have the resources. I can help you guys. We can restore you back to how you used to be."

The inhuman creatures paused for a moment, twisting their deformed heads this way and that as if contemplating Shugo's words. Sadly, whatever humanity they had left had been burned away, leaving behind feral hungry predators.
The girl shrieked, the Ghouls surged forward and Shugo was now faced with a stampede of teeth and claws.

Dammit... they're innocent...
I clutched my fist so tightly I thought that I would break my gauntlets. Bringing it up in front of my face, I closed my eyes and focused electricity to surround my gauntlets. I pulled my right hand down to my side and swooped in low as I charged forward letting out a deep ferocious roar of my own. I didn't want to fight them... but I had to. As I reached the first one, I would speed up and run right past him, while I put my left arm out, hopefully clothes lining him. I would then throw myself into a slide tackle at the second one's shins. Hopefully that would knock him off balance and make him fall forward. If he did fall forward, I would throw my right fist out hopefully planting it into the Ghoul's stomach.
