[Kyrie Blaze]

Kyrie shifted so she was sitting with her legs together, but bent, feet splayed to act as an easy brace as she set Evelyn to rest. She hid behind her hands and then opened them, making an exaggerated, surprised face. And then gave that little, gurgled giggle that the baby tried to imitate, earlier. It was fun, see?

She grinned at Evelyn, and hid again, this time popping out with a grin.

She glanced to Bastille, after.

"Well, you are not alone in dealing with it. You simply need to reach out for help, if and when you need it."

Bastille raised a brow at this and tilted her head. Help huh? She hadn't asked for help in years..she didn't need help from anyone. The concept was all foreign to her. So instead, she just stared at Kyrie......sort of brain broken over this.

Bastille would not receive even a glance from Kyrie. Obviously, the woman who was several years older than her had heard. So her attention fixed itself back upon the green-eyed baby girl resting against her legs. More peek-a-boo~

Nope...no....Bastille is just going to continue staring oddly.


Evelyn would scrunch her face every time Kyrie hid her face, and as soon as it was back she would do a different expression from her repertoire of 6 expressions. Two could play this game.

And even Kyrie's mental articulation was lost when Evelyn started playing along. Her thoughts mushed and jumbled themselves together, and everything inside her completely melted. Yes indeed. Evelyn and Aryanna definitely had her wound around their itty-bitty fingers. She leaned forward and gave the bright-eyed girl's nose another nuzzle with her own, and even pressed a soft kiss to her forehead. After a few more rounds of their game, Kiyr scooped her back up.

She emitted a sigh as an exhale and folded her legs to one side.

[Bastille Amtrum]

"I'm getting old" Bastille voiced suddenly, Aryanna asleep in her arms.

[Kyrie Blaze]

"We all are, no..?" Kyrie intoned, rocking Evelyn slowly. Yep. Even though it would likely be several more years before she had a family, if she got to that point, and even though she could patiently wait, the blonde was looking forward to being able to coddle her own sons or daughters. Certainly, there would be anxieties to go along with it...but...

Bastille just shrugged. "I just never thought I would..." She said suddenly, looking over at the landscape.

[Kyrie Blaze]

Kyrie looked up from the bundle in her arms to watch Bastille, unblinking, for several long moments. The silence stretched briefly.

"It is easier on the psyche if we do not think of it constantly; if we do not worry about our ages and when we will die, it makes it easier to live in the moment. To be...young-in-heart. That is what matters, in the end, non?"

A silent, mental nod to Delilah.

[Bastille Amtrum]

Bastille looked back to her and smiled in a motherly fashion, nodding.

"I always think about when I will die, it's why Blaze got so mad at me all the time- I assume..."

[Kyrie Blaze]

"Perhaps..." Kyrie trailed off a moment, to give a quiet glance, but very purposeful, to Evelyn, and then her gaze slipped to Aryanna. "Perhaps you should not be so preoccupied with it, now. Prepare but do not dwell...or you may miss out on things most important to you...like Evelyn and Aryanna."

With a quiet smile for Bastille, Kyrie turned her blue eyes back to Evelyn and stroked the back of her finger against the baby's cheek, still smiling.

Bastille just chuckled. "I wouldn't be me, if I wasn't constantly anticipating my demise..." she said raising the infant up lightly. For all her violence, she was more of the demure and gentle mother.

[Kyrie Blaze]

Kyrie smiled, continuing her gentle, swaying, rocking.

"I did not say to not anticipate...just do not let it overshadow living however you wish to live, or their lives."

Bastille looked at the girl, her red hues masking something as she smirked. Then Bastille looked at the girls, the two girls she still couldn't believe were hers....and yet how much she loved them, and wanted to hold them. How much her body was set against everything she knew.....She didn't know herself anymore.... Bastille- who was Bastille. She felt like a child at thirteen again....like she'd been asleep for 10 years and someone else had run around with her body. Her crimson hues stared at her hands, holding the infant there.....

A small, silly smile and expression crossed Kyrie's face as she wiggled her fingers in front of Evelyn's face. She uttered a quiet giggle and let the infant curl her fingers around her index digit. A gentle bounce and air raspberry was given to the green-eyed girl before the blonde glanced towards Bastille.

As if she sensed the change in the air.

"Bastille..?"
