Reunion (Valo)

"She and I got a safehouse in the city. It's not far from the Yuy Manor.[/i]"

The good thing was, none of our enemies knew where she was. Whether I was staying with her, Shugo, or Jayne, I was always close by just in case. Lately, the field work had been taking me away from her, but I knew as long as no one knew her location, things would be fine. I didn't want her involved in any of this, so I made sure she was safe at all times.

"If he can keep a look out around the area, it'd be nice. No one knows of her location but Shugo and I.[/i]"

I took my flashlight out again, walking back towards the building. "Are you sure he's safe out here? I know he can take care of himself, but you never know if those guys will come back...[/i]" I headed into the building. "I don't know what could be in here.. there could be a connection to Valor, or there could be nothing at all.[/i]"

[Amakusa Takehiro]

"Well, I can have Jimseung be a lookout. He wouldn't be opposed. Actually, if he were fully informed, he would volunteer."

Takehiro strode into the building calmly, looking above him, and kicking the floor at the same time. It sounded a little hollow. He glanced at the ground, looking to see if there were any hatches he could use to open it up and explore. He found nothing, however. There were stairs leading to the upper floors, but that was about it.

"Don't worry about him. If they come back, he'll throw them through the building to let us know. But... Tell me, Valo. Would you rather we go up or down?"

A grin crossed the giant's face, though he was sure Valo would be a little confused. The ground sounded hollow beneath them, though, which meant that there had to be a room down there. Takehiro was sure he could break through the floor no problem, but there could also be things above him. So, he'd let Valo decide.
