(OOC: Closed)
Kazuya was not happy. After learning from a member of his Sky Force division what had been said to David while he had been unconscious and Karyu had taken up, he was more than just annoyed at the dragon spirit, he was downright infuriated by the lack of respect and arrogance Karyu had shown to David. And he was not going to stand for it. He was going to put the dragon spirit in his place and make it clear his blatant disrespect and entitlement was not going to be tolerated, especially by Kazuya, his vessel.
The moment he had fallen asleep, Kazuya would summon Karyu, demanding to speak with him in his dreams, the dragon spirit compiling, albeit grudgingly.
- Dreamscape -
Slowly opening his eyes, Kazuya would find himself standing alone in the middle of a vast, barren wasteland littered with countless swords anchored in the ground like grave markers.
Why have you summoned me, Kazuya?
A voice would echo in his mind, as an immense dragon arose up from behind him, casting a huge shadow onto Kazuya, blanketing him in darkness. Slowly turning to face the dragon spirit, Kazuya would lift his head up to glare at Karyu, his expression clearly conveying he was not pleased with him.
"... To put you in your place. You may be an ancient dragon spirit, far older than David or I combined, but that does not give you the right to blatantly disrespect David! He was the only School Captain I followed and gave up my Pillar title for willingly for a reason, and I will not let your arrogance towards him go unnoticed!"
Fool! I provided to you the increase in your Qi power, and you mean to chastise me!? Do not make me laugh and tell me you are challenging me!
"That is exactly what I am doing. I will make sure you understand that David Blaze, the Storm Dragon, or any other named Dragon for that matter, is to be shown respect!"
Foolish vessel. I will show you just how powerful fire can be, and put you in your place.
Karyu disappearing, the shadow lifted off of Kazuya, he would reform into a warrior composed purely of flames, the same height and size as Kazuya. Without warning, he kicked up a dagger that was at his feet, snatched it up in mid-air with her right hand and threw it straight at Kazuya's face, shouting out what he thought of his vessel.
Simply turning his body back and to the left, the dagger flew past Kazuya, just nicking the side of his left cheek, leaving a shallow cut. Pulling his twin blades free from his back, blood running down the side of his face as a single drop of blood fell to the sand below, without a single indication or warning, Kazuya would then kick up the cinquedea located by his foot by the blade portion, before precisely and accurately hitting the cinquedea with a right backhand swing of one of his katanas at just the right angle, sending the knife flying straight for Karyu's face. He then took off just behind the cinquedea, weaving and picking his way through the various swords strewn across the entire arena.
Karyu scoffing and easily melting the Italian blade with a simple fire blast, Kazuya was not deterred and pushing onward, once he was within striking range, he would lash out with a simple horizontal slice with one katana, followed by another horizontal slice just behind it, executed with the other katana this time. Karyu evading the slices by jumping straight up into the air at the very last second, easily reaching an altitude of six feet, he hovered high above Kazuya in the sky for a moment.
"If you are trying to beat me, so far you are failing miserably."
He would then land lightly onto the ground behind Kazuya and unleash a fierce side kick on Kazuya, strong enough to knock him back a couple of feet. Whirling around to face Karyu, his foot would collide with Kazuya's blades as he held them in front of him in a cross shape, a hollow clanging sound echoing through the area as he was sent back, his boots grinding up against the sandy arena. Wordlessly, he would kick up the nearby sword by his foot, and waiting for the right moment, would smash the bottom of the sword with an upwards left heel kick, sending the sword flying in a wide arc, heading straight for Karyu... only to land short, right in front of him.
However, Kazuya had not been aiming for Karyu, no, he had purposely mis-aimed, using the sword not as a distraction, but as part of his plan. The moment he had kicked the sword, he darted forward after it, a look of determination in his eyes. Just as the sword's tip of the blade buried itself in the sand, Kazuya came up from behind it, leaping up and balancing for a brief moment on his left foot resting on the top of the hilt of the sword, burying the tip of the blade even deeper into the sand, before leaping forward, but strangely, he had only one katana with him, as he brought his blade down in a vertical slash.
"That was pathetic."
Karyu would scoff as he swung his flame katanas in a downward smash, to counter Kazuya's strike, their blades colliding, Kazuya's own katana beginning to melt from the sheer heat emanating from Karyu's own katanas. But what happened to his other katana you may ask? Just as he had taken off after the sword, Kazuya had pulled his right arm back and threw one katana like a boomerang, the katana now currently heading along its downward arc, heading towards Karyu's back.
"I expected more from-"
Karyu's smug expression would disappear from his face as a blade somehow lodged itself in his lower back, the blade melting from the heat of his flame body, his breathing speeding up. He fell to his knees, looking up at his vessel with furious eyes.
"I... I was beaten? Impossible..."
Drained and immobilized, he looked at Kazuya, awaiting his next move. Glaring down at the dragon spirit, though Karyu was drained and immobilized, who was to say he didn't have a trump card up his sleeve? After all, there were swords scattered everywhere around them. There was nothing stopping him from grabbing one and attacking or throwing it at him. With one katana now firmly lodged in his lower back, the only way he was going to retrieve it safely, was knocking Karyu out.
Kicking up a sword by his foot, Kazuya would snatch it in mid-air with his free hand, before swinging it in a small but tight arc, smashing the flat side of the blade against the side of Karyu's head, disorienting him long enough to raise the sword up above his head, and quickly bring it down and smash the top of his head with it, knocking him out, a grunt the only response Kazuya received as Karyu was knocked out for good... well, the physical manifestation of him in dreams that is. Even with all the raw strength of fire at his disposal, Karyu was beaten not through being overpowered, but by being outwitted. His pride had been shattered. Not only had he been beaten in his own domain, that he had absolute rule over, but he had lost not to a fellow Dragon spirit, but to his own vessel. When he awoke, he would rethink and re-evaluate his own power, abilities... and himself, for a good, long while.
Kazuya was satisfied. He had put Karyu in his place, and with his task done, would leave the dragon spirit to himself and his thoughts, hopefully humbling him and making him realize he was not entitled, and he had to show respect to those Kazuya considered stronger than him... not to mention cut Karyu's arrogance down a couple notches... Okay a lot of notches. Turning and walking away from the unconscious form of Karyu, he would slowly disappear from the wind-swept wasteland, as in the real world, Kazuya would sleep soundly and peacefully.
