A dull look plastered to his face, purple orbs closed as he breathed lightly, travailing in the back of a truck while making his way, no retrievers near, no threats to be placed on his package. It was all to uninteresting... and a price of high would be the compensation for this, of course at the moment his mind was only on his work, slowly on the highway the truck moved, the sky blanketed in the curtain on lune.
"Oi, could you speed it up? Just a little more."
Razzo questioned the driver, whom of course pressed down on the gas more so than before while the beneath the brim of his hat Razzo grinned a magicians grin, or what could be called a lairs face as he slowly cracked open each orb while the driver noted that they had returned to the city limits. The driver not slowing down however as he took out street lights, bench's, and anything else that was in his way... Then again this driver was not an ordinary person, in fact he was another transporter, very high in skills behind the wheel... apparent as to how he took the corners in the truck and not once put it in any sort of chance to flip, sometimes taking a shortcut here and there.
"Whats wrong?"
Razzo questioned as he could feel it in his gut, they where slowing down... of course it made Razzo wonder, his companion never stopped...
"We have an issue Jackal."
Razzo of course peering through the windshield noted roughly 5 men standing in the way, junked cars piled... and from the looks even more than what could be seen at first sight, of course Razzo knew what they wanted, considering they were transporting a rather... expensive painting to a musium... and the blockade... well, it wasn't to hard to figure.
"I shall remove them, do wait for me, won't you."
He commented as he made his way from the trucks trailer (its like an 18 wheeler, custom.). Stepping into the street and slowly coming around the side while the slit on his brim was located right over his eye.
"You are retrievers?"
He questioned them, armed with bats and pipes... they could have been... or just lowly scum trying to rob them, but of course they responded with a yes.
"Then, that would mean you are trying to interfere with my task of transporting."
He commented, his voice calm, a cheery tone really as he stepped forward, his right hand lowering to the side as he placed his left hand on the top of his hat, tilting it forward slightly. His right hand coming and resting over his chest for a moment before flicking to the his side once more, between each finger a slight shine could be seen from the lights while four surgical knifes were located.
"I wonder, just how long..."
He questioned as in the night his black garments made him hard to see unless bathed in lightly while he leaned forward, his body shooting across toward the 5, the first of which and closest brandishing a bat at him in a broad swing, Razzo sinking low as it shot over his head, his right hand raising up while the knives danced up his chest, while in the end coming off the tip of his chin, the cuts deep, and clean while his body took into a spin.
~boring~
He thought as in his spin he opened his right hand, the blades shooting outward and sinking into the second while the third came full forward with a pipe, Razzo of course had spotted him already and placed a strong fist to the mans face while the pipe went into the air, his left hand catching it with ease while it then flicked back nailing the fourth in the teeth.
"Your not real retrievers are you?"
He commented, of course by now they had made quite the racket while the fifth looked at Razzo for a moment before Turing to run, Razzo simply flicking his left hand letting the pipe shoot thought the air and with his night peerless aim smashed the last in the back of the head, to his dismay it hit him with the broad position and not like his personal favorite weapons.
"Yare... yare, you boys weren't worth your titles."
He commented as he took up his knifes from the one male who was writhing. running his gloved hands over each blade to clean them as he slowly began to walk back to his truck.

Well here it was. All unfolding in front of him. Travis had thought this was just going to be another boring walk home. That nothing interesting was going to happen. Yet here it was. Something straight out of a movie. He had turned a corner, getting ready to walk down the sidewalk, when he spotted something near the end of the road. A roadblock of sorts. Definitely odd.
Travis could have sworn it hadn't been there before. But it was definitely there now. and then came the large mac truck. It slowed and stopped. Travis could only stand and watch, his hands in the pockets of his jeans. And then a single persons tepped from the back. And began to make it's way toward five people. Definitely interesting. He would try and draw closer, and pick up a few lines of what the solo one said.
"You are retrievers?"
Retrievers huh? What did he mean by that? Interesting indeed. Obviously Travis was smart enough to know what it was to retrieve something. So these five people were in some kind of business huh? And they were to take something from that single man. He must be a transporter of some kind. Travis had heard of stuff like this before. But he had never seen anything like this happen. And soon enough, the single man began to move. And move quickly he did. He had cleared the five people with in a short moment of time. Quick and deadly, he was.
This only caused Travis to be sucked in even deeper. He wanted to know what he was doing. He wanted to know about this whole Transporting thing. And he would hurry up and ask too, before the man could leave. A quick lean and dash, he was off toward the truck. coming to a skidding halt on the sidewalk as he shouted out toward the dangerous, lone figure.
"Hey! Wait!"

Razzo raised a brow with the sound piercing the air, a voice... could it be yet another retriever? Well regardless he simply turned his head, his right eye peering through the cut in his hats brim while he opened his hand and his knifes simply vanished into his sleeve while he pressed his right thumb to the bottom of his brim and looked with both eyes.
"Hm?"
Razzo merely mused at this person... at this point doubting he was a retriever considering he didn't simply attack while the black clad boy was musing his blades, with this in mind he simply turned to face this onlooker, considering it was rather unprofessional to ignore or rather leave one standing... one who had spotted... then again that was his own thought while he simply tightened his tye.
"Is there something you need? I'm rather busy at the moment."
He pointed out as the driver revved the engine, he didn't like to stop... never did, and he fully intended to leave soon and thus Razzo also intended to leave as he couldn't leave his job half way... there might be more amusement along the path.

"Is there something you need? I'm rather busy at the moment."
"Just a curious on-looker here.. What is it that you do exactly? ..I have a hunch that you are some kind of Transporter.."
Travis' hands would slide from his pockets. They were gloved as always, the fingerless gloves, made of an odd black material that didn't shine whatsoever. Those hands would slide to his sides, his fingers hooking onto the belt look of his jeans as his vivid blue orbs stared toward the rather interesting looking fellow before him.
"I have to admit.. I'm curious.. I've always wondered what it would be like to work in that kind of business.."
Sure, Travis was young. A high-school freshman. He couldn't work legally, at least not with the government knowing. But that didn't matter. He could use the money. And he didn't want a normal, boring job.. He wanted something exciting.. And to him, it seemed as if being a transporter of some kind would be extremely interesting indeed. Now he could only hope there was an opening..

He head the words over his drivers rev, it was interesting to say the least, he just viewed the display and then wanted to join? He did look young, then again...
-Jackal, 1 minute!-
The driver stuck his head out the window and yelled while Razzo stood half way between the drivers seat and the door to the trailer, no breaks... no stops... that was the mans motto and he knew that Razzo couldn't give 2 shits about it... but either way he had no intent on being later than need be.
"Yare yare, what to do."
He commented as another loud rev boomed from the truck while Razzo simply began to walk toward the back of the truck.
"Come along then, there is no requierment to transport."
He told the boy as he climbed back into the back, moving all the way behind the front seats, his hat pulled over his eyes... he could tell, something interesting was going to happen, it was as if an infection in the air spread throughout his mind telling him this... and what better way to try the blue blood... see if this line of work was really for him, and of course to his side was a large case with the delivery.
-Brat, 30 seconds!-
The man in the front yell.

"Come along then, there is no requierment to transport."
Really? thats it.. That easy? Why do I have a feeling that I'm going to be diving into a pool of shit soon.. Eh.. Guess I shouldn't keep him waiting.. Not like my parents really expect me home anytime soon..
Travis gave a small shrug and then quickly followed Razzo into the back of the rather large transporting truck. It would be an interesting night indeed. He wondered if the type of stuff he had just seen happened a lot. Or if worse stuff happened. Who knew. He was excited though. Maybe he would get a chance to prove himself already. Or a chance to prove that he wasn't cut out for this type of job. Hell no, he wouldn't let himself think that way. He was perfectly cut out for this type of job! ..right?
Once in the back of the truck, Travis would let his vivid blue eyes rest on the rather interesting dude that had decided to let him tag a long. He hadn't seen him before, and he looked a lot older then Travis, but who knew now-a-days. Travis sensed he wasn't that much younger then him though. Or at least he would hope so. Soon enough, he would decide to speak.
"So yeah.. Whats your name anyways? If we're going to be working together.. Then it would make sense for me to know.. right?"

"When this job is over, you will find out, till then Jackal will be fine."
He pointed out while he tilted the brim of his hat once more, his right eye however peering at the case next to him, while in turn he placed his white gloved hand on the case.
"This is our object. We are to move it to a musium roughly 30 miles outside of the city 90 from this current location."
He commented as he pressed his thumb to the underside of his hat, pushing just below his eyes while he looked toward this tagger, considering that the dimwits outside were low class thugs... and that the real retrivers had yet to show, well... this would be interesting... how did he know that there were real retrivers on the job? Simply put, the driver was thocking away on a laptop while he drove.
"You might want to sit down."
Razzo commented as the moment the truck started moving the driver not only started off hard, but he quickly took pace. The man knew that we were behind on time, and he would quickly make up for it as he litterally rammed through a park wall.
~Then again, I just can't wait.~
He commented as the truck bounded constantly from hitting objects and the such, this being the case someone might as well raise a flag and say let the fun begin, as about 70 miles from there location the real retrivers were waiting, and along the route there were easily more low lifes.

"When this job is over, you will find out, till then Jackal will be fine."
Jackal huh? Some kind of codename? Awesome.. I wonder what mine will be..Ehh.. shouldn't tell him mine until we're done I guess..
Travis would nod as he continued to listen to the 'Jackal' and let his curious eyes fall upon the briefcase that Razzo had just placed his hand on. All this work for the briefcase. Apparently it was relatively expensive- whatever it was that was inside. He would cross his arms as he stared at it. He wondered what was inside it. Wondered if Jackal even knew what was inside it. And when he heard Jackal speak once again, about sitting down, Travis would take his advice and quickly plant himself down nearby. Soon enough the truck would pick up speed fast, and Travis would decide to speak.
"So.. Whats in the case.. Or is it some kind of rule to not check whatever we are carrying?"

"A painting."
He commented as he closed his eyes and leaned back, a rather fake smile on his face while he enjoyed the peace but rather hoped from action while of course he would have to wait, and of course it would give the boy time to question? Or maybe he wouldn't be so lucky, considering the driver... even if you wanted peace well... to put it bluntly the driver drove like a psycho, which was noted as a cinderblock smashed through the front window passanger side, bouncing from the chair right the Razzo's feet, of course he only looked at it for a moment before returning to his relaxed state.
"It may be just that, but it is the job."
He noted as the driver hammered the horn, a large thud that cause the case to slide a little bit before it was halted by Razzo.
-Damned punks, getting in my way...-
He grumbled as Razzo chuckled, he never changed, he always had this thing against stopping... then again it was Razzo's firm belife that the man lived in the driver seat, regardless of this he wondered... considering they were not the type to give up easy how long before they tryed to challenge the driver...

"A painting."
Ahh... Must be extremely valuable then..
Travis' gloved hands would press against the floor, in hopes to help keep himself from bouncing around, but it was rather hard to do that. The driver was definitely a speed demon. And he didn't seem to care if they hit stuff. When the cinderblock smashed through the windshield, Travis only slightly jumped, mainly because he had not expected anything like that to happen. He would take a deep breath and then sighed slightly.
He hoped that this would be interesting.. even dangerous. He liked danger. He was a thrill seeker after all. This type of job definitely had some kind of danger factor to it, right? He supposed that he would find out sooner or later. If not, and the job wasn't what he had expected, then he would just back out, and not take it. Unless of course he was forced.. And by the looks of him.. and what he had witnessed earlier, Jackal probably could force him.

So calm, it was almost enjoyable, strange was the feeling Razzo got from it, not used to being... so damned relaxed, then again someone in who wasn't just sent to juvinial hall but rather prison on many occasions... it would possibly do that to one, yet regardless of that fact he just took to waiting, his orbs wanding to the new guy who... well he looked bored out of his mind, no surprise. After the display before one would think the job is always rought with fun.
-Oi, kid, get on the roof.-
The driver broke the "silence" at that moment while unknown to Razzo, though he possibly expected it that there was something worth seeing above... that or perhaps the fact that something from his contact popped up on his laptop... who knew? Regardless of that roughtly 3 miles off from the front were there easily about 12 buggys tearing down the way coming directly toward the truck, of course Razzo didn't know this but there were a few from the back as well that mr driver noted thought his mirror.
"I would be quick, hes rather short tempered."
Razzo pointed out while he pointed his right arm in the direction of a ladder which led to the roof of the trailor, though... Razzo normally would have gone up but, it seemed he wanted the new guy to taste a little hell... then again anyone to be on the roof with this nut at the wheel... either way it would be a smoother ride now considering that they just pulled onto the highway with minimal traffic.

-Oi, kid, get on the roof.-
Uh.. Huh?
"I would be quick, hes rather short tempered."
Travis looked to the driver, and then to Jackal for a few seconds and then pushed himself up onto his feet and then looked in the direction that Jackal had pointed. To a ladder. Well, at least the ride seemed to be going smoothly for now. He just hoped things didn't get too bumpy while he was up there, the last thing he wanted was to fall off going as fast as he was currently going. Travis would give a nod and then made his way toward the ladder. He would climb it within seconds, and soon planted his feet firmly upon the rooftop, his orangish-red hair being tossed about wildly by the wind.
Once he was positive he had his footing, he would take a few steps toward the front of the trailer, his vivid blue eyes squinting slightly as the wind tore at his body. Lifting his hands he would grip those black and silver goggles, and then drop them down over his eyes. That was better, a tiny bit darker, but now he didn't have to squint. And thats when he really picked up the buggies coming in.. fast. A lot of them too. Ooohhh boy.. this was going to be fun.. He would turn quickly and check the rear. There were even more there.. OOH BOY! Travis guessed these were the retrievers. Fuun. All he could do right now was stand here and wait.. It seemed he was about to get his little initiation underway. The only real thought on his mind right now was..
The money better be worth this..

-Jackal, I don't know what there planning...-
"Don't worry, the roof should be just find... Just, don't throw him off."
Razzo cut the driver off while he kept his eyes on the road, his laptop closed while both hands hit the steering wheel. It was game time, and of course he intended to ram through most of them... well, that wouldn't work out, not would it? No, clearly not as within moments each buggy shifted to the sides of the truck, one man from each leaping off onto the hood of the truck and up to the trailer.
-you sure he can handle them?-
"Maybe. Give him a little help. I have my own business to deal with after all."
The man called Jackal pointed out as the trailer doors flung open. Of course unlike the new blood Razzo had been with the driver for ages, since his first job... considering they were nigh childhood friends, that being the case Razzo knew how to stand in the truck while easily 12 men armed just as those on the street earlier.
-Oi, Kid, hold on up there.-
He yelled while some of the buggy's passing made a rather loud scraping noise, the truck taking a hard right smashing the small vehicles into the guard rail, making... well, it wasn't something one would want to see the aftermath of, no deaths, but still... but in the process he watched a pair roll off the roof in the side mirror.
"Well now, Only 12? Do keep me interested."
Razzo commented thus while they picked themselves up from the jut, the Jackals left hand pressed to the top of his hat to hold it to his head while four scalpels appear between his fingers once more, one pinning the case to the floor leaving him with only 107 left for utility.

Great! these buggies came in fast, and soon enough there were people jumping from the buggies onto t he hood of the truck, and making their way toward Travis. Worst part? They were armed and Travis wasn't. He would have to act fast so that he wasn't swarmed right away by them. They weren't going to be nice to him, that was sure. All he needed to do was get one of those weapons, and he would be set for a bit anyways? Maybe?
He definitely hoped so. His eyes worked fast as the men began to climb the hood and attempt to gain footing on the roof. Not going to happen so easily! Travis would have already dashed foreword, had he not braced himself for that hard right that the driver had pulled. He had been knocked off-balance from that, but had recovered quickly. Quicker then the dudes climbing, and he would use that to keep an advantage.
He would rush foreword, adrenaline pumping as he went. It was like something out of an action movie. A gang of people and one dude on a roof. Too bad Travis was no god-like martial artist of doom. Or else he would be able to destroy these people relatively quickly. But no, he knew this was going to be tough. Especially sense he could not judge their talents yet. They had to at least be decent though, right? Most-likely. Weaklings wouldn't be doing this kind of stuff. Travis had to assume that they were better then he was. Which would not be good if they gang-tackled him. Not good at all.
Once he neared the front of the trailer, his right foot shot foreword, his heel slamming against the chest of one of the people that had managed to reach the rooftop relatively quick. That punk had not expected such a sudden attack, Travis felt the man knocked back, arms flailing as he dropped back, knocking into a fellow climber. Both would end up dropping to the hood of the truck once again, the one he had kicked wasn't lucky enough to keep himself there, as he slid off the rather slick paint job and smacked against the pavement, rolling many, many times before coming to a stop.
Another Climber had reached the trailer root, and was lifting a leg to plant it upon the roof when Travis sent a hard left forearm to smash against the side of his face. He grunted and slapped against the rooftop before slipping off. He had managed to grip the edge of the rooftop with both hands, the chain he had been equipped with clinked against the trailer rooftop dangerously close to the edge.
Travis caught his balance once against after sending the elbow, making sure he was ever-so-careful and did not lose balance and drop from t he roof, then splat against the ground. He took a few steps closer to the edge, his left foot slide to jam the clinging man's hands as he tried to hold on. He pleaded with Travis, but his pleas were not heard and soon that man dropped off, his feet stomping the ground, his face slamming into the pavement half a second later. Ouch.
Travis would step back from the edge again, bend low and grab the chain up with his left hand before it slide off the truck. And then he felt the thud, a hard boot slammed against his right shoulder and he felt himself knocked to the left. He skidded against the rooftop, his hands flattening against the surface to help himself stop. He would roll from his left side, to his back, wincing slightly, letting his vivid blue orbs lock and narrow upon a rather large man that had just landed a solid blow to Travis' right side. Mother fucker. Strong. Thats what he was..
"..This is going to be.. interesting.."
Those words just barely escaped Travis' lips as he quickly and carefully made his body straighten up and stand. That chain would pass from his left hand to his right, that right hand wrapping the chain twice around, still leaving enough chain links to had a small whip-like weapon too. With that fist-full-o-metal, Travis would take a deep breath and wait for his next opponent to near. So far a few had successfully made it onto the rooftop. Soon enough the rest would come. He was just glad that he had managed to knock two up before all of the bastards had made it to the top. He counted quickly in his head. Eight.
Eight of these mother fuckers.. I hope this job comes with Medical Insurance.. Haha..

"Sounds like fun up there."
-Jackal, just clear those bastard out of my truck.-
The driver clearly wasn't happy, they not only stomped on his truck, but now they tried to get in it? Not happy at all as he kept a steady speed, knowing full well there were idiots on top... in a normal case he would slam on the brake hard and then hit the gas in roughly 2 seconds time to throw them off... but there was that kid on his roof... Granted he watched two more roll off onto the ground and had a rather pleased look on his face.
Razzo however still only stood there, his face calm while he removed his deceptive "mask" while with his left hand he turned the hat slowly, a deep purple eye looking through toward the group while the corner of his lip curled ever so slightly. One step, two steps, three steps. He only walked toward them as they finally got to there feet, all of them watching only for a moment, four steps, five steps, six steps. His armed hand gripping tightly to the weapons between each finger... he didn't need them, but he liked them, and of course he had every intention of carving the group up while they began to rush at him, there bats high held, there pipes moving with there arms, and of course the jingle of there chains.
It was interesting, they moved so slow... it was actually rather amusing as when they reached him, a bat flew, Razzo arching his back while the tip passed right before his nose, his right arm raising up while the blade tips pierced the skin under the jowl, a quick twist while he shifted his body to the right, the blades tearing while a man, or more to say he who made the Jackal move stumbling all the way to the front, catching himself by placing both hands on the seats. Of course it was to bad for him as the drivers absurdly large arm wrapped around his neck really rather quickly.
-Get the fuck lost!-
The driver said with a rather gruff tone as he dragged the guy forward and thus let him go, only however to slam an elbow into the guys face sending him rolling back, of course poor fella also made his way out the back door.
Razzo on the other hand, now done with the first target had withdrawn his blades, only two down at the moment, both removed... he of course at the time dodging in and out of the strikes with ease made his way backward, to the sides and eventually switched places with them as they tried to get a hit. He wasn't going to let that happen of course as when they proceeded to attack the first two only saw him for a moment before he appeared between the two, a hand on the back of each ones head and a good shove right out the back.
"I hope he is having more fun than me..."
The Jackal commented as he took his left hand down, four more blades appearing between the fingers.
