Marcus was certainly no stranger in having no direction in life. In fact Becoming a Mechanic was nothing more than an accident. It all started back in his senior year when Marcus had happened upon an angry young girl named Kitana Reynolds. The man, feeling particularly mischievous proceeded to goad the young girl into a fight, Spending virtually all of it dodging her furious attacks in a hope that she would vent all her frustrations out and calm down.
Unfortunately he wasn't quite aware of what kind of girl he was dealing with.
One lucky shot was all it took to snap Marcus into Serious business mode, which resulted in him slamming the poor girl into a bunch of lockers, promptly knocking her out cold. Horrified at what he had done, Marcus had agreed to work with her at her families Auto Mechanic shop to pay off the debt he felt he owed to her.
Eventually he found he had something of a nack for it.
"To be honest. I wouldn't mind starting up a Canine patrol for the city. Guard dogs mostly. After seeing your pooches in action I'd be more than willing to give you whatever you need to see it done. A Place to set up shop, manpower to help train them. Supplies, you name it."

"That's an idea," Tah responded. He lowered his olive-colored gaze to the ground and took a moment to run his fingers through the sleek blonde hair at the side of his head, perhaps thoughtfully. He smoothed it down again and returned both hands to the pockets of his worn-out jeans.
"I'd just need room to train and keep them penned up. And supplies, yeah. And if you have uh, people who already do patrols or something, we could pair them up... take home a trained dog like police partners or whatever. I dunno, whatever you wanna do."
It seemed like something that could work. He didn't know how the police force operated here but he'd get around to knowing, eventually, when it became relevant.

Marcus nodded his head as he began jotting down Tahs needs in the black leather book he always kept on him. No hesitation, the lad seemed pretty gung ho in his own muted way.
"Much of Anahiem had to be leveled for one reason or another so we won't be too hard put to find you some real estate with plenty of breathing room. As for supplies, anything we can't find, we'll find. That is, if your interested in becoming a citizen of course."
Stopping, Marcus turned and regarded Tah with a slight tilt to the head. "Well. What do you think so far?"
