Sean arched an eybrow at the threat, not entirely sure weather or not to take it seriously. He'd been wrong about people before. He wouldn't be stopped by mere words though, and replied to the threat sarcasticly, "You'd probably be doing me a favor, they seem to get him in trouble a lot." Sean had already had already been on either side of a beat down with the teachers, so there was truth to this statement. Sean wondered why the girl's commposure seemed to change from the initial meeting. It was more confident now, yet seemed almost a bit overplayed.
"This is acctualy my first time going to the mall here since I transfered. You come often?" Sean hoped to create some less sarcastic conversation to show he wasn't only jokes and sarcasm. Maybe she would respond a little bit better to a less invasive approach.

"You'd probably be doing me a favor, they seem to get him in trouble a lot."
Max heard Sean comment, she kept walking. "This is acctualy my first time going to the mall here since I transfered. You come often?" Sean spoke again, Max felt comfortable to reply.
"Nope, this'll be my first trip here. I've been living here a while but I've never had to go there, but anyway, this'll be my first trip. Oh yeah, the condition is you have to oblige to three other conditions, by the way. 'kay?" Max wanted to see if it was easy to play with a boy's mind, as easy as people made it out to be, she wasn't looking forward to using Sean as her slave all her day or something, she just wanted to have fun and hoped he wouldn't take anything seriously. It was mostly just laughs and jokes, all in good manner, Max hoped he wouldn't take it as anything else.

"Ever heard that wishing for more wishes doesn't work?" Sean tried to figure out if he had bitten more than he could chew, but shrugged. "Fine, fine," Sean said with an exagerated tone of surrender, "but 3 conditions is all you're getting out of me. Those 3 will be revealed as we go, I assume?" Sean figured that if this girl tried to abuse this, he could leave easy enough. Even teenage boys can only be pushed around to a limit. Still, this might be fun, and he might eventualy know her name and phone number by the end of it.
Sean did notice that she claimed she wasn't a mall rat and this was her first time going to the mall as well. Yep, the material possessions coment was BS, she's hiding something, just a matter of figuring out what at this point. Sean considered the question a challenge which could help keep his mind from wandering.

"Ever heard that wishing for more wishes doesn't work?" Max heard Sean ask, she didn't bother to reply, he simply wasn't shopping with her if he said no so she knew he was going to give in. Did boys really go through such haste to just run off because of some added conditions to the 'date'?
Max grinned as she heard Sean give in, "but 3 conditions is all you're getting out of me. Those 3 will be revealed as we go, I assume?"
"Sure will be," Max replied softly, "You just have to wait. See, we're almost at the mall!" She pointed to the large building that was only a small walk away, the mall was in-sight.

"Cool," was Sean's only reply. Sean was more the out-doors type, and malls were too crowded for his tastes most of the time, but this girl intrigued him, and curiosity (and hormones) provided enough of a nudge to get him to go. Could be dangerous to my bank account, but I think dad will understand, or at least he shouldn't be too pissed off.
"So, where too first, lovely?" Sean still didn't have a name, so he would keep up the blatant flattery until she got sick of it and give him something else to call her. Women weren't the only ones who could be manipulative without malice.

"Cool," "Yup.""So, where too first, lovely?" Max heard Sean 'compliment' her again, usually it would be sweet and she would be all blushing and stuff, but that sort of thing only happened when Max liked the guy. -- ? She sighed under her breath as they were coming onto the path that led straight to the doors of the complexed mall, "We're going to do some jewelry shopping, 'kay? ... hm, don't worry, I'll pay for it all! But one of the conditions is You have to carry it all! Sound fun, Sean?" Max grinned without looking at the boy walking behind her, as she continued, "...second condition is: if you call me anything besides -- " "Don't give him your name. He'll probably stalk you!" " -- ma'am, ... yesh...that sounds good. Besides ma'am, I get to kick you -- in the family jewels. 'kay?" Max smiled back at Sean but then turned to the opening doors before her, this was going to be a fun long day. OoC: Sorry, late reply

OOC: It's OK, I've been underwater for the last week.
IC: "Alright, Ma'am," Sean spoke with an exagerated southern accent, "I'll carry your jewels and you don't kick mine." Sean was begining to wonder if he was hitting on an 'ice pincess', but she wasn't self-centered enough to quite fit that stereo-type. Sean followed through the automatic doors, his usual happy-go-lucky expression unphased.
"Just in case you want my opinion, ma'am, I think that platnum would fit you best. It would accent your features while gold would detract too much from the person behind it." Sean's voice did not hold a trace of sarcasm, for he was giving his honest oppinion.

"Alright, Ma'am, I'll carry your jewels and you don't kick mine."
Max was grinning while Sean followed behind her, it was fun to have him follow her and she hoped she wasn't giving the wrong impression. This was all in fun and he was behaving well enough that she might've even been getting comfortable with his pressence.
"Just in case you want my opinion, ma'am, I think that platnum would fit you best. It would accent your features while gold would detract too much from the person behind it."
Max was laughing aloud in her head, platnium? ...er, actually, good choice but she didn't really plan on going too high. She wanted to just bore Sean out on this little shopping-spree thing by buying girl stuff, jewelry, clothes, everything and anything she would be able to think of! But he had quite the taste, Max had a different idea though, "I was thinking of something simple actually, though I must say you have exquiste taste, Sean! I wanted some pearls though, think that sounds good?"

"Pearls," Sean pondered it a little, "I like the idea, it seems... appropriate." Sean decided to withhold the 'constant irritation comment', and let her figure it out. Sean noticed a 3-rowed pearl choaker in the window of a shop. "Hey, ma'am, how about this one?" Sean pointed it out and subtly steered toward the shop, but he stuttered in his steps as he saw a group of half a dozen other teenagers near the entrance.
Normaly, Sean wouldn't give them a second glance, but he recognized 3 of the group. They were the the first three that Sean had met, and though he would believe that he could hold of the trio again, he wasn't liking his odds here. Hoping to avoid further conflic, Sean guided his path away again, trying to cover the nervousness in his voice, "Er... or maybe not."

"I like the idea, it seems... appropriate."
That meant he didn't like it, but boys didn't usually like a lot of things girls did. Max didn't care actually. "Hey, ma'am, how about this one?" Max turned around to a small shop window, it was a nice necklace but too classy. "Er... or maybe not."
"Yeah, that's what I was going to say." Max smiled, "See! You're learning!" She joked. Her stomach was starting to growl a bit, "Actually, instead of jewelry shopping let's go eat something!"

Sean breathed a sigh of relief that the girl wasn't going to drag him into a volitile situation "Sounds like a good idea, what do you feal like?" Sean was happy to not confront the group, but he noticed that once he and Max had passed, the group seemed to follow, and judging by the glances, they were as aware of him as he was of them. You've got to be kidding me, guys, Sean silently prayed as they entered the food court.
"How about chinese?" Sean sudgested, not willing to worry the girl about his problems. He would deal with those without burdening her.

"Sounds like a good idea, what do you feal like?"
Max entered the food court and immediatley chose a table, it was just right there in her face and she liked it. There were a lot of food stores around, she began to think. Sean came up with an idea, but it was too simple, "How about chinese?" EVERYONE ate chinese and Max kind of wanted to eat something different. He was paying anyways, it was a condition.
"How about japanese?" She suggested, pointing to a small Japanese shop where a man was preparing drinks for two customers. "I want sushi and a lemon bubble tea! You can get whatever since you're buying...that's a condition." She explained, still not noticing the people following them.

OOC: Back for a bit longer this time, sorry for the inconvinence.
IC: Sean chuckled a little at the condition, with just an edge of nervousness in his voice as he tracked the movment of the gang following them, "Never had sushi before, but there's a first time for everything." And that's #3, he silently noted; Sean had no intentions to allow himself to be abused.
To the man behind the counter he said, "2 plates of Sushi, a lemon bubble tea, and a coke, please." Sean pulled out his wallet, which had a supprising amount of cash in it for a kid his age, and payed for the 2 meals. Dispite his attempts to remain calm, the proximity of the hostle group caused his right hand to fidget. Fortunatly, so far they seemed to be avoiding direct conflict in public, likly affraid of the mall security or police. I don't know what you want of me, gods, you grant oppertunity, then you turn it into a trial, Sean prayed silently for guidance.
Sean decided to play the delaying card: if they wouldn't attack him in the mall, then he wouldn't leave until he had too. Sean guestured to an empty table nearby that was on the edge of the food court while balancing the plates of food and drink, "Over there good for you?"
