"A-are you sure that will work?" Avacyn replied, skeptical of the idea. It was a pretty big backpack by her standards, but it was still too small to fit her...
"Well... Okay. Do, uh, do you all wear clothes there?" She asked, slightly hesitant.
Because, well, she was naked.

"Yes- but I can find you something to put on when we're there." Mau replied as he lowered into a crouch again, at an appropriate height for Avacyn to clamber up into his pack. If she did so, he would take a moment to glance around in the trees above him.
"Hold on with your arms around my neck," he instructed, and once she did so, would pull the red bandana down from his head so that it settled around his collar and conveniently over her arms. It was just a matter of slinging a bunch of leaves over his back once he got to the gate, to shield the rest of her briefly.
"And hold on tight. I'm going to take this off for now."
Why? Because he was going to be running pretty fast. Mau would reach up to take off the headset, and once they were clear, he'd take off running.

Avacyn would nervously utter an "Okay..." While she climbed up the man's body like a tree, setting herself into the pack, hugging her knees to her chest, wrapping her arms around him. Her vision was slowly obscured by large leaves from the vegetation in the area, and soon she was completely covered.
And then, he was off like a rocket. She almost yelped as he ran, it was no wonder he was able to catch her, he was so fast!

Some time later, perhaps not very much at all, Mau would slow down and snatch some leaves to toss over his back, tucking the stems under the back of the bandana a bit to keep them in place. Avacyn would be covered, though it looked a little strange. Still, Mau was known to be odd and his muteness acted as a buffer against small-talk and most by-the-by questions.
And so, with the small woman hidden under what appeared to be shoddy forest camouflage, Mau approached the Southern gate and hoped to pass through unbothered.

Mau and Avacyn would pass through the gates without much suspicious notice.
Though within the done, they would not be completely safe from the eyes of the cameras, which extended everywhere. Only when entering Mau's private quarters, would they finally be safe from prying eyes.
SO LET'S JUST SAY THAT THEY GO STRAIGHT THERE.
-
Once they entered, and Mau finally stopped, Avacyn would poke her head out from the brush-covering, and whisper, "Hey, is it safe?"

To answer her question, Mau reached over his shoulder and pulled away the leaves that covered her. They were in his small apartment, finally alone and away from the prying eyes of the cameras. Mau sat on the edge of his bed so the girl could climb out from the pack before he shrugged it off, putting the headset back on after that. He swiped his hand along the wall of drawers at the bedside and arbitrarily plucked a shirt from the mix.
What he held up to her with a pleased smile was a garment fitted long and thin, apt for the man's slender torso but would fit much like a dress on Avacyn's petite frame.

Poking her head out and looking around, her eyes adjusted to the soft light of the living quarters. The environmental controls kept the space at a warmer, and less humid temperature, than Avacyn was used to. In fact, a lot of things in the room were brand new to her. Like the concept of rooms that were only for one person. As she climbed out of the pack and landed on the plush, woven fabrics, she wondered whether or not the Metahumans actually slept on squishy things like these. Everything so plush and fluffy, Avacyn didn't know how comfortable it would be. Stretching like a cat, she relaxed her muscles and soothed them after the cramped journey. And then, a dyed, stretched piece of thin fabric was presented to her. It was dyed dark, which contrasted her comparatively pale skin, and as she donned it, indeed, it acted as more of a tunic than as a fitted garment. Though, it didn't leave much to the imagination... As she adjusted her hair and her headset, which now pressed on her head just enough to be constantly noticed, she looked to Mau with an expression like, how do I look? The whole idea of wearing clothing was positively alien to her, and as the stretched synthetic fibres pressed against her form, she felt slightly out of place.

A satisfied smile tugged at Mau's mouth in reply. His eye lingered on her for a long moment before he blinked, and shrugged.
"I don't even know where to begin."
Mau reached toward some sort of monitor on the wall near the bed and tapped the surface. The screen awoke, detached itself from its charging dock, and levitated around to face Mau in front of the bed. After swiping through a few menus, a map of the city popped up on the screen.
"Well, this is where we came in and here's where we are.." the man directed to the South gate and to another point on the map where his quarters were located. Finding not much else to point out, he crossed his legs on the bed and rested his hands in his lap with another shrug. He glanced over to Avacyn and then pushed the floating monitor toward her so she could play around with it.

As the floating monitor rose into the air, Avacyn would let out a shriek, and move to hide behind Mau. Realizing, by Mau's calm demeanor, that she wasn't in danger, she hesitantly poked her head out to look at a picture of a bird's perspective of the domed city. The floating screen was motioned towards her, and she backed away at first, but then, curiosity got a hold of her again...
As she looked at the thing, examining all angles, repeatedly swiping her hand underneath, making sure it wasn't a rogue animal, and poking it gently on the frame, she went to feel the picture. As her fingers touched the screen, the map on the screen followed her fingers, moving to different areas of the city as she moved her hand.
"What... is this... How do they fit the whole picture in this tiny frame? Is there more pictures in here? How many, I wonder..." She murmured to herself, absently.
Glancing over at Mau with wonder in her eyes, Avacyn made to sit on his lap, screen in hand.
