Rai coated his hand in blood as he saw the boy play with his new found power and smiled, This should be interesting... Then there was a laser heading towards him. Rai would respond by reaching out and merely back handing the laser knocking it away harmlessly.
"Very good."
Rai clapped.
"AGAIN!"
Rai then slung his hand at Koshiro sending the black blood glove flying towards Koshiro at full speed like a giant fast baseball... glove.

Koshiro was caught off guard. And for the first time in a very long time. He was afraid. He pushed back and threw his arms up.
if it worked his power would baffel even more as the ball would hit an invisible wall and shatter. That wall of course, being made of solid kinetic energy.

It would shatter! The kinetic barrier that is, though it would slow down the ball enough that it wouldn't kill Koshiro on impact.
"Very good. I see there is a lot you can do with your ability. We are done for today, though keep practicing I'd like to see what else you can do."
With that Rai would walk back inside the mansion.

Koshiro would nod at Rai. Then, he saw a butterfly sitting on a flower. Without thinking he held his hand out and concentrated. The butterfly went stiff, and so did the flower. Actually everything in a 3 foot block was totally still.
"Kinetic energy? And light? What else can I do.....?"
