"I would be able to teach you much more than just the basics of fighting than if you were not, and teach you learn new skills, while helping to hone and improve the skills you already possess. Aside from that, very little would change in terms of your lifestyle. You seem comfortable and have settled down living in Raikotsu's mansion, and I could not and would not ask you to move just to make coming here for training more convenient."
Leaning backwards up against the counter in the kitchen, his arms casually folded across his chest, Kazuya would "look" at Arael with a calm but slightly kind look in his eyes, well as kind as pupil-less eyes could be.
"It's your decision, and your choice Arael. I won't force you to become my apprentice, and regardless of your choice, I will still teach you to fight."

Leaning up against a counter as well, Ari rested her elbows on the top and had a thoughtful look on her face as she mulled the offer over. After a few minutes she looked up to meet Kaz's gaze. "I would be honored to become your apprentice. What must I do?"

"Complete a simple test... Make me bleed. I want you to hit me with everything you have. Put all your rage, all your sadness, into your strike."
He was being completely serious. To see how strong Arael was now, Kazuya wanted her to hit him with everything she had. Pushing off from the counter, he would head over to the sliding door in the living room, and sliding it open, revealing the garden in the back, stepping into it and waiting for her, it would be her testing ground.
"Make me bleed Arael. That's all you have to do."

Ari mouthed the words - make you bleed - slowly as Kazuya walked out of the room. After a moment she followed him out into the yard.
As he stood in the yard and repeated the word, Ari looked at him oddly. "Make... You bleed? Kazuya, I saw you take down Zax, Koshiro, and Maliki just a week or two ago, with obvious ease... Unless you really, really slow it down, which I'd honestly rather not make you do, I'll never even touch you. Let alone make you bleed!" As she said it though, she shifted into a fighting stance, one foot forward and one slightly back. Her weight centered and balanced and her hands loose at her sides.
After a moment, she gave a small sigh, and nodded her head slightly to accept his challenge, as impossible as it seemed to her.
Nervously, she rocked her weight onto her toes, ready to move quickly. She crept forward slowly, watching Kaz intently for any movement. If he moved in an attacking motion, she would attempt to duck out of the way. If he didn't move, she would narrow her eyes, analyzing, and knowing that a head on attack would not work, but not thinking of anything to do but that. A dilemma indeed.

"That was different. Except for Koshiro, I was mainly testing the abilities and skills of Yachiru, Zax, and Malakai, as Raikotsu's apprentices, and see how much they have grown. Your test, will not involve me fighting back. Your test will involve you striking me once, with everything you have. That's all you have to do Arael."
Arael would find Kazuya would not make any movement, in fact, he would simply stand in front of her, his arms held loosely by his sides. He was shirtless and clad in a pair of white Karate pants tucked inside black instep foot guards, a white Karate belt tied around his waist, black arm guards and fingerless gloves with metal plates on the back of each hand, and a red headband tied around his head. He only wanted her to do one thing, hit him and make him bleed.
"You can do it Arael. Imagine I am Barker, and you only had one chance to land a hit on me. Make it count, and hit me with everything you have!"
