Olesya was learning to make bread for herself and Maddie when the knock came at the door. Curious, Les wiped off her hands and answered the door. Her alertness spiked when the men asked her identity...there almost wasn't a single person in Dragon Territory who knew where her house was.
"...Yes?"
After the confirmation, they all leaped at her at once, pinning her down and covering her mouth with a sweet yet suffocating smelling chemical. She'd smelled it once before in her life, when she was abducted to the Correctional Facility in high school.
Chloroform?!
Olesya struggled, kicking and flailing and lashing out as best as she could, possibly causing a black eye or split lip before falling unconscious.
---
She awoke to the sound of waves. They were so serene, like waking up on the beach...her sheets even felt like sand beneath her body. The image of her bed safe at home drifted away as the beach came closer to the surface of her conscious. Then her memories returned: the door, the men, the chloroform...
Olesya gasped, sitting bolt upright. She took in the scene around her, it wasn't anything she'd even seen before. Where was she?! She climbed to her feet, dusting the sand off her clothes as she looked around. It was beautiful, and if it hadn't been for the fact that she was abducted, she may have even enjoyed the view. But something was definitely wrong.
The only man-made structure was a house on the cliff...that was a place to start. She headed up through the foliage, picking her way through and up toward the house.

Chihiro paused, a slender eyebrow quirking as she laid eyes on the little girl. Now, Chi was no parental expert by any means, but didn't children belong somewhere near their guardians? What was she doing out here alone? The little girl pointed, and despite her better judgment she looked back, seeing the men on the roof.
"Shit."
She muttered under her breath, attacking in return as they came at her. She ducked under the first one, popped up and tossed an uppercut at the second, grabbing the third by the collar and headbutting him hard. But she was outnumbered.
Chihiro was an assassin, she worked best in the shadows. She wasn't a warrior, and weaker in the skill of tackling multiple enemies at once. She slipped a stiletto from the holster at her thigh, stabbing out in quick jabs at anyone that got too close. She was like a killer bee amongst a pack of dogs.

If this Curtis fellow expected civil conversation of any kind, then clearly he did not understand that people knee deep in corpses during open conflict fighting for their lives, only to be pulled suddenly and rather violently out of said conflict, tend not to be too willing to partake in open discourse civil or otherwise.
What they tend to do is whip themselves up into a near panic induced frenzy.
"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO?!?!? WHERE THE FUCK ARE MY MEN!?!?!? WHERE THE FUCK AM I!?!?!??!" These were essentially the only coherent words Marcus spoke, nestled deep within a red faced spittle flecked tirade as thoughts of the men and women under his command being brutally cut down danced in his skull. Marcus would be on Curtis in a heartbeat, hands gripping the mans Jacket with both hands as he roared into his face, oblivious to all but the fact that he HAD TO GET BACK TO HIS SOLDIERS!

The man behind her also had a weapon pointed at her. It was disconcerting, but otherwise not that big of a deal; as far as she was concerned, unless that was a pellet gun or he had magix, gunpowder didn't work (unless he used something else to propel a bullet).
She offered him a hand to get him back on his feet. She wasn't going to apologize because she thought her actions were justified considering the situation they were currently placed in.
"Is it just the two of you?"

Kazuya Hikari:Theme
The creatures would be absolutely unaffected by the heat of Kazuyas flame- they had, after all, just crawled out of a pit of lava. However, Kazuya was plowing through them quite quickly. So, they attacked while they could. One of the arms of a creature jumping up at Kazuya would pierce his left shoulder, right above the peck, and would stop when it hit bone. Another would land a glancing blow at the Fire lords thigh, cutting about an eighth of an inch in, which would probably seal over from the heat. As Kazuya dipped up toward the opening, the monster holding on, which its arm in Kazuyas shoulder, would let out a horrifying screech....before falling away, leaving a hole the size of a half dollar in the mans chest. When Kazuya landed, and felt the pain of his wounds, he would feel a burning begin to spread throughout his chest....and down into his abdomen. Poison. Kazuya would have about five minutes down the tunnel before his heat vision would begin to waver, and he would feel his strength begin to sap. If he looked at the opening he was about to reach, he would see the heat outline of a man walking his way, saying nothing...but would eventually lose unconciousness. ******Unknown amount of time later******** Once he awoke, Kazuya would feel every muscle in his body was sore. Around his chest and wrapped around his leg was bandages, and he would feel a little tightness there. Otherwise, he would note he was in a small cave outlet, lying on a cot that had large green leaves for a blanket. Out the small opening he would see a fire, with what appeared to be a squirrel cooking over it. Kiyr Barrial: ThemeThe man before her would flex and grin wickedly. " No, but We're told to ask anyway. I had hoped to hear otherwise." He'd hold out a hand, as though to say "STOP". " Wait- please, take a breather. I want you to feel good and fight well- I'm in no hurry. Catch your breath- the others have been called off now that I've been called in. Just me and you. Names Ryzick- You beat me, you get freedom. You lose, you end up in the Regulation. Either way, our fights gonna be fun, right?" He would try and offer his hand to help her up. Once she was standing, whether she took the hand or not, he would grab some cloth from the couch and clean his hands and face of the blood. If Kiyr tried to run, she would hit a wall at the door to the outside- an invisible wall. Ryzick would simply grin and wait for Kiyr to catch her breath. Delilah Black:Kate opened her her mouth to talk, then turned to the window, staring at it like a deer caught in the headlights. " They are here. I will take you to meet your friends- but there are many of them, and they don't care about death. However many traps you have it won't be enough. But....I have an idea." Kate would take her mask and twist the front end. Exploding out into the room would be a noxious cloud of gas, filling that room in seconds. Even if Delilah made it to the door, holding her breath, the gas would seep in through her pours, and she would begin to feel groggy. Wherever she happened to be she would begin to feel a heaviness to her bones. Kate, meanwhile, would ignore her, pulling a thin needle from the inside of her shirt and drawing it out, pricking her skin with it....and sigh as the antidote to the gas flooded her body. Delilah would, eventually, collapse, and though her vision was dimming, she would see Kate standing over her. " Don't be afraid, First Black. You can trust me." Delilah would lose conciousness. Kate would stand as it happened and grin, lifting Delilah and throwing her over her shoulder before diving out the window and landing, a hundred feet away from the house. Around her form was a sort of shimmering light, like a field of sorts, and would protect her from projectiles or traps. She would land with her men and dump Delilahs body off to the side, where men would pick it up. She'd start singing, like someone quite insane, a little tune as the people around her would walk after her. Her eyes were wild- " Let me be your ruler... You can call me queen bee... And baby i'll rule... Let me live that fantasy..." **********Some time later************ Delilah would awake.... in a dark room. On her head was a round helmet, and next to her, Kate. Kate was plugging in a computer, and Delilah would begin to feel tingles in her toes. " The effects will wear off in a few minutes. We're here, but it looks like only one of your friends are here. It's a heavily gaurded and...rather large facility. I won't be able to stay with you, but you'll find your way, I think." Lucien Dechain: The girl would slowly sail away, and the big man stared at her retreating form. Damn....that was his boat. " I'm fine. This cut means nothing to me." He turned to start walking around the outer edge of the lake- it would take them an hour or two to move around the outside edge, versus the ten minutes the boat would have cost them. " This is the regulation, boy. Were you taken, or did you turn on them?" Olesya Van Deboggart:Her thrashing did indeed injure two men- she was no weak cookie after all. But in the end....Olesya would be pinned and forced into submission. Once she started off into the forest, the sound of the waves depleting behind her, she would hear voices off to the left. An argument, with a crackle of electricity. To the right, there was a path, haphazardly cut through the woods leading up toward the house. If she chose that path, she would have quite the hike ahead of her, and it appeared to be getting dark. However, if she moved toward the sounds of people arguing, she would creep upon a scene were several giant blocks sat, Mitsuki Park and a man on the ground talking before she helped him up. Behind Mitsuki, she would see a man standing with a gun pointed at her...but he was beginning to lower it. Chihiro: The girl fought back- hard. A man grunted, flying into a wall as she kicked him but returning to his feet shortly after. More men were flooding the area. To her left, Chihiro would see the little girl running away- off toward the city. The path toward her seemed clear, if the woman could break away. Another man was dropped by her blade. The masked men began to draw swords. Marcus Prasad: As Marcus lunged forward, Curtis would backhand Marcus, sending the stuttering man back into the dirt. "Breath the rag, you fucking moron! Do you WANT to die!?" Curtis looked around at the people gathered a moment before turning his eyes on the Crow. "Your men slaughtered mine and are searching for you now. They live. So stop your wallowing!" If Marcus refused, or tried to attack again, gas would be tossed into the circle and begin pouring out around the man. He had a few short minutes to react before he would begin to feel sluggish himself. Meanwhile, back in California, the Crows would see the masked men take off running, only one or two bodies remaining, the masked men moaning in pain as the Crows would start mopping up the bodies. Even the big man was running, moving to escape, now that they had their prize. Mitsuki Park: Peter took her hand, the man behind her lowering his weapon. Peter nodded, wincing a little in pain at the tightness of the muscles she had damaged with her electricity. "Yeah...only been us this whole time. Dylans gun he's had as well but...other than that, your the first...sort of friendly face we have seen. We've been trying to reach the house on the hill but...it's been a prob-" He would stop, his eyes stapping into the woods. He heard someone approaching... "Someone is here." OOC:Arael- you can post this round if you'd like. If you don't post this round though, We'll have to boot you.

Visibly wincing as his left shoulder was pierced by one of the creature's arms, just above his pectoral muscle, stopping when it hit bone, another would land a glancing blow to his thigh, the wound cauterizing immediately from the fire engulfing Kazuya's body. Continuing to do his best The Human Torch impersonation as he rocketed towards the opening up above, he would hear the creature that had buried its arm in his shoulder let out a horrifying screech... before falling away, leaving a hole the size of half a dollar in his chest.
The moment he landed, he would immediately begin to stagger, the pain of his wounds catching up to him, as well as a burning sensation begin to spread throughout his chest... and down to his abdomen.
Poison.
"Shit shit shit SHIT!"
He'd roar out as he stumbled through the tunnel as fast as he possibly could, his heat vision beginning to waver and his strength sapped. As he took a couple steps forward towards the opening, he would make out the blurred outline of a man walking his way, before darkness filled his vision, and he blacked out.
---
His eyes slowly opening as his gaze slowly roved around, everything appearing blurry to him currently, he would try to lift his head up, only to let out a roar of pain, like an animal being strangled. Every muscle in his body was sore, and felt like they were being ripped apart. His head landing back down on the cot he was lying in, he could barely make out from the bottom of his peripheral vision, his chest and leg wrapped in bandages, feeling a little tightness there.
His vision now a bit more clear than before, he'd look around at his surroundings, noting he was inside a small cave outlet and covered in a blanket made of large green leaves. Slowly moving his head to look out the small opening, the heat of a fire would form in his mind, with what appeared to be a squirrel roasting over it.
Carefully pushing himself up into a sitting position, gingerly holding onto his chest, he'd cautiously swing his legs, one after the other, over the edge of the cot, and slowly rising up, would make his way to the opening, walking like an old man. A thin layer of sweat visible from the effort, he'd use his Qi ability to try and find the heat signature of the man he saw before blacking out... and whether he was friend or foe.

The tension slowly left her shoulders as she watched his reaction, and then more when he said she should take a breather. She wasn't entirely sure she could or should trust him, even so. But what he was indicating wasn't what she first instinctively assumed. Being that she had made it to her knees as she spoke, she gingerly pressed her fingertips against the offered palm to stand.
And to sway a moment. The fall had sneaked up on her. Laying down wasn't so bad. Getting up, though, she was grateful for the chance to rest. Ryzick seemed...honourable enough. Definitely someone with a love to fight, as his words and actions staying true to them demonstrated.
But she could perhaps use the downtime to glean a little more information off of him.
She pressed the heels of her hands to her knees, bracing herself as she wasn't quite ready to stand straight and tall.
'Now that I know you are not going to try and molest me...'
"I think I will enjoy this fight. So..." The blonde pulled in a deep breath and exhaled slowly. "So obviously you are one of higher position in this group--or at the very least, highly respected, being that everyone else has been called off. But...what is 'the Regulation'?"
The petite blonde with her blue eyes did not attempt to run, surprisingly enough. There was no point at such close range. He, so far, had proven that he was at least true to his word and of no threat while she caught her breath...so she could give him the same measure of courtesy and respect.
It was a fight he wanted, and so a fight he would get. She rolled her shoulders and began to flex and stretch her limbs and joints, easing the stiffness away in her recovery time.

" They are here. I will take you to meet your friends- but there are many of them, and they don't care about death. However many traps you have it won't be enough. But....I have an idea." Delilah shrugged; whether or not that was true, it should put the state of their enemies into such disarray that it would make it at least much easier to escape. She had more questions, but those could wait.
--And about ten thousand more questions as Kate opened a valve on her mask, the same gas Delilah had experienced before exploding into her face. Delilah threw herself back involuntarily, skidding sideways across a wall in an effort to escape, but she'd had a face full of the gas. Eyes watering, coughing violently, the raven haired woman slumped, but not before she looked up at Kate as she hovered over her with a look of pure fury. " Don't be afraid, First Black. You can trust me." Fear was not something Delilah typically felt. More like a white-hot blaze of inndignation. That wasn't to say she was never afraid; fear of losing all that she loved was what kept her going, but it was not something she saw as a negative. That was how the mechanic was able to rely on her instincts for as long as she had.
And her instincts were screaming at her now, not to trust the woman with the red hair and knock out gas.
Her lips curled one last time in a small snarl before Delilah blacked out entirely.
The house, as Kate left it, would trigger explosion after explosion, combined with a torrent of fire that would reach high into the sky. The circuit, not disabled with the specific key Delilah had to disengage the many locks of the house, would trigger the ensuing chaos as flame arched into the sky. Anyone trying to enter the house, or leave without that special shield Kate had on her, would likely be killed in a matter of seconds.
*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*
When Delilah awoke, she kept her eyes closed and regulated her breathing, trying to discern her surroundings from her senses alone and to ascertain her own physical condition. Her memories came flooding back, as well as an intense dislike of the gas and it's wielders. At least it seemed like she had all of her weapons. There was something on her head. Near silence, though she could hear someone moving around nearby. She wasn't bound, but her limbs felt heavy. Side effect, probably. Sensation seemed to be returning though; her nerves were lighting up all over the place.
Opening her eyes, she realized she was in a facility of some kind. A slight angling of her head allowed her to locate Kate, who was activating a computer. Delilah scowled at the sight of her, but the red haired woman seemed to be keeping her end of the bargain, more or less. The mechanic reached up with shaking hands to remove the helmet from her head, casting it off to the side. Damn, but the gas had taken a toll on her." The effects will wear off in a few minutes. We're here, but it looks like only one of your friends are here. It's a heavily gaurded and...rather large facility. I won't be able to stay with you, but you'll find your way, I think." Delilah stared at her for a while, thinking more clearly now that her brain was kicking back into gear. What if this was regulation and Kate had brought her here and put her under? She had to admit, it was a possibility.
...but it didn't change her objective. Whether or not this world was fake, she had a goal that she needed to accomplish. And she would force herself to trust the red-haired woman.
For now at least.
"I'm fine," the mechanic replied somewhat curtly, pushing herself up from the chair and onto shaking, noodley legs. Growling at herself, she forced herself to walk a few paces back and forth, to get the blood flowing.
"Which direction? Do you know which person is here?"

Lucien followed the man, slightly off-put by the nonchalant words he was speaking. The Regulation...?
"...Taken, I suppose. But, what is The Regulation?" He asked, thinking to himself about what he had witnessed. An environment that changes abruptly and without warning, those murderous giant birds, the Gods soldier, how he looked like he was...
"Is this a dream?" He asked, hoping for a clear answer.

Olesya, following her streak of morbid curipsity, quietly and skowkybmoving toward the sound of people. She arrived in the clearing just as the men were apologizing to tje female, who had her back to her.
Why did that voice sound so familiar?
She was about 80% sure that the woman was he old School Captain...but that gun did seem mighty terrifying. Tje scar tissue in her shouldet twinged.
"Mitsuki?"
Sje did have a morbidbsense of curiosity afterall...

His dignity stinging as painfully as his cheek, Marcus picked the rag up and breathed it in. Because really, by this point nothing else made any sense at all. Might as well just ride along.

Her heightened senses usually allowed for her to know when someone was in the vicinity- it was both a curse and a blessing. Sensitive to her surroundings, her body half turned when she felt a presence nearby, even before Peter spoke. When face came to view, her eyes flickered toward Dylan and his gun-
"Be careful where you point that gun," she commented, before turning toward Olesya. It was disconcerting that she was here too; made her wonder if there were others that Mitsuki knew.
"Olesya...? How?"
After Olesya explained, her attention would shift a third time.
"...you were saying- something about having difficulty getting to a house?"

Kazuya Hikari
Kazuya would walk out, his heat signature riding on a man, who had his back to the fire. When he turned around he would see it was...It was-
Sean Barker.
The tattood man grinned and held out a fish.
"You Hungry, Kazuya?"
Kiyr Barrial:
Ryzick was more than a little surprised the female was asking him questions. The other nine had told him that they were a rather close-lipped bunch, and didn't much care for being inquisitive. He waned to give her plenty of time to recuperate, and so wouldn't care at all about giving her info. In fact, he was put in more of a good mood by her statement that she would enjoy the fight.
"Well....think of the regulation like a mix of The matrix and Inception. Through the use of Qi, they are able to control dreams, access information and build a world in which you are the main character...the player 1, if you like. We are people too, we just..."jack in" whenever we want."
He leaned back against the wall and folded his arms.
"And lets be clear- I don't hold a rank in their group. I'm a member of the twenty five Brothers in combat, though we are only down to ten. I, Ryzick, am the tenth, and obviously the weakest but...we aren't a part of the masked ones...just aligned with them for the fights."
He tilted his head and watched her....noting that she was becoming stronger.
Delilah Black:
Kate paused, turning back at the door, having opening a sliding panel and made sure they weren't about to be discovered.
"You are gonna go left, and keep traveling down. All paths lead to the Breaching room. As for who is here- Lucien Dechain."
He nodded, and then spoke calmly.
"Good luck, First. I wish you the best. I must get back before they get suspicious."
Kate took the right pathway, and upon exiting, Delilah would note that there were three possible avenues- left, right, or straight ahead. There were doors lining the walls, with buttons on them should she wish to open one.
Lucien Dechain:
The man who shrug.
"Yeah, guess so. Sort of a Qi induced dream world. But trust me when I say- whatever happens to you here, happens to you in the real world so...don't go getting ideas."
He continued his path, taking exceptional care NOT to touch the water.
Olesya Deboggart:
Olesya has found Mitsuki Park! She may now team up should she wish!
Peter would hold out a hand to calm Dylan, who turned and aimed his gun at Olesya. Peter seemed a bit in shock....two people, one day? This was...
"Maam? I-"
He stopped when Mitsuki started speaking.
Marcus Prasaad:
Marcus would, after smelling that rag, start feeling his limbs going heavy. As he tried to speak, his words came out in slurs....and in short order would stumble and faceplant, his last image being a gaggle of hands reaching down to claim him.
**Some time Later**
Marcus would awaken in a cold room. There was a single door, and no lights besides the bar behind him. He could hear some people talking outside the door...but he was still slightly under the effects of the drug and probably shouldn't try and get up too quickly.
He would note he was on a bunkbed, and was safe in assuming there might be someone below him.
OOC: Marcus gets a hit of -10 to STR and DEX for 2 posts.
Mitsuki Park:
Mitsuki has found Olesya Deboggart! They may team up if they wish.
Peter would be speaking to Olesya, at first, before he was interrupted by the former Captain, who could converse freely with Olesya. Dylan lowered his weapon, but stood on edge, waiting.

Twenty-five affiliates--one could say that the group that Ryzick was working with outsourced. Kyrie tucked the information away, noting that though twenty-five, they were down to ten. Kyrie's eyes scanned around the house, and she spotted the files she had dropped. The unfortunate side-effect of such an impact was that her qi released the files and folders she had stored in shadow.
"You said Brothers in Combat... The name speaks for itself - obviously - but...how does that work, exactly? Come together as needed for a cause or job?" The blonde quirked her head, her instinctive and incessant curiosity showing through more and more. They had put a mask on Gregory, the masked ones...she needed more information on that. "...and what do you know about 'the masked ones', exactly? Do they have any official name..? You work alongside them, so if your information is limited...I understand."
She moved towards them with a nod...and picked everything she could find back up.
"...and so if I lose, then I am taken to the Regulation." She considered, nodding to herself. "I think if you do not mind, I will set these to the side, but I would like to retrieve them after our fight, win or lose."

Huh.
"... Huh."
Didn't see that coming. Stopping on the opposite side of the fire Barker was standing on after heading towards the heat signature he had locked onto, he would regard him not with a look of hostility, but one of simple curiosity.
"... Well considering I was poisoned and just woke up, perhaps."
He would take the fish, but not eat it right away, instead, he would continue to regard Barker curiously. It was all rather intriguing, Sean Barker, the enemy of the world, had bandaged up his wounds and removed the poison Kazuya had been inflicted with. He was not surprised Barker knew his name though, the man had created a clone of him after all.
"... How come you are here Barker? Shouldn't you be in Long Beach or somewhere in California at least? And why did you help me?"
