"Whatever," Zax said as he rolled his eyes. That's what the guy in the front always said: he said there was nothing to worry about. Then they continue down the dark room and they're picked off one by one. Koshiro had obviously not paid enough attention to the horror films.

Zax followed as he sighed. "No, that's Scooby -Doo you dimwit! No, what happens in the REAL horror films, is they go up the dark stairs, and because it's dark no one can see the guy in the back of the group. Than the monster picks everyone off one by one, starting from the back and going towards the front. That means this thing or things will come after ME first. then you will turn around to see me gone, and as you're distracted it will grab you from behind! We're both going to DIE!" Zax was starting to freak himself out.

Koshiro didnt even turn to look at Zax as he spoke.
"Guess I just wont look back then. Good luck with the monster.
Besides dumbass, you have a light in your hand. Or do you not remember me giving it to you?" He chuckled as they walked.
As he topped the stairs he would create a light wall at the top only Koshiro and Zax could pass through it. Anything else would only interract as if it was a wall. As he did, the lights they carried became a bit smaller. The strain of holding so much was begining to weigh on him. he had never used his Qi this much before.

As Koshiro moved on leaving Zax behind a blood knife would come out of the wall and cut the light thread connecting the two. Zax was now by himself in the dark, and Koshiro would find himself alone... in his own light.

Zax dropped his jaw at what Koshiro said. Zax shook his head at Koshiro's ignorance.
Then black. Zax was alone. In the dark. without a light. Without vision. Without safety. "Gosh dang it Koshiro! This is another common technique! The monster splits the group off, then it takes the girl first. So now your gonna die before I do!" Zax would burst out laughing at the joke he cracked if it wasn't for his fear.

A new light thread would come flying out of nowhere with a ball attatched to it. The light ball would be made of supercondensed light so it would have mass. The ball would fly down the hall and down the stairs. Aimed straight for Zax's head.

SHHHHHOOOOOO THUMP! Zax would get knocked on the floor. He got back up rubbing his head. "THANKS!" he said with sarcasm. "Can you pull me to you?" Zax said as he grabbed the light, or tried to.

Koshiro would yell "Jump!"
If Zax did so then Koshiro would pull him up and through the wall, with no problem and the young man would land perfectly. If however he did not jump, when Koshiro pulled, he would be pulled into the stairs and drug up, painfully.

Zax would think something was attacking him and he was being warned, and of course, because of his stupidity, he looks behind him instead of jumping, and is brought to Koshiro. Painfully.

"Uhhhhhhhh" Zax would groan as he got up rubbing his head and stumbling.
