Too much rotation was put into the throw, or somebody was trying to make him overdo it. Even if the guy had missed hitting the ground head-first, a knock to a single point was just as good, though maybe not as damaging as a headshot. As his body was swept up by force applied to the backpack, Atticus began his compensation to make up for the throw. Halfway through, Atticus began a backflip, taking the majority of control away from Grayson and putting back into the hands of physics. The twist would release the grip on the backpack, and let Atticus freefall the rest of the way to the ground. The landing would be rather cusiony, since there was a body right in his way. It was Grayson's mistake that he gave Atticus airtime. After all, he was a skateboarder, air gave him the ability to do whatever his heart desired.
Feeling a grasp on each side of his skateboard while still floating, Atticus quickly reached for the arms and pulled them tight. Sure, Grayson was probably stronger in the upper regions, but Atticus only needed to restrain his arms for a few mere moments. Using the arms as perfect guides, Atticus extended his legs right into Grayson's armpits. Since there was no physically possible way that Grayson could move his body without moving the arms, the attack was about as sure to hit as kicking a sleeping guy. By exerting force on the arms away fromt he shoulers, then adding force to the shoulders in the opposite direction, he could pop the arms right out of their sockets. At least it was only dislocation instad of a full desire to snap the bones this time. Once that connected, he would use those shoulders as a springboard, and backflip his way from Grayson's body, again utilizing that twisting motion to escape from Grayson's hold on the board.
((OOC: No way in hell that you're going to break my board that easily. Especially since a decent skateboard can take over 200 pounds of force without snapping.))

OOC: I know, I just wanted to irk you a bit... ^_^
As Grayon felt his arms grasped, he immediately smiled as he knew exactly what to do. He moved his body forward and rolled his shoulders forward to reduce the amount of damage that he would get as he flipped his hands around to break the grasp on his wrists and grab the boy's wrists.
Grayon would then wait for the impact and immediatley spin to the side while lifting the boy skyward. After he reached as high as he felt he could go, Grayon would suddenly jerk the boy downwards and into the ground. Even with that backpack, the boy would still fell an immense amount of pain, since anything in the pack would be shoved into the boy's spine.
Grayon wouldn't let go of the boy's wrists either, as he immediately rotate around, making the arms cross over the backs of the elbows. Grayon would then put one foot on the boy's chest and twist the arms if the boy struggled.
OOC2: The wrist trick is possible, in fact, I am quite adept at performing it. Also, sorry for not being on so much, I've had little time to get on due to RL.

((OOC: I know that trick. By rotating the wrist against the thumb, you can pry your arm out of even a double-handed hold from someone who can wrap their hand fully around your arm. I have the trick mastered, and IRL, I'm a total weakling dork... XD Don't worry about the lack of being on, I understand. Oh, and you have a tourney match against one of the pillars...))
Full bullseye, but the guy had moved his shoulders to keep them from being crushed between the ground and his feet. Increased chance of pulling a muscle there, but less force would be exerted on the shoulders. Lucky for that guy, pulling muscles hurt a lot less in the short term, but he'd be waking up sore as hell the next day.
Feeling the hold now going both ways, Atticus retightened his grip around the bastard's wrists as he felt himself being lifted again. Going right over the guy's head, his body suddenly took a turn right for the ground, spine first. Gritting his teeth, Atticus felt a bit of pain course through his knees. Why his knees? Instead of landing on his spine, he had managed to land feet-first, completely bent over backwards at a ninety degree angle at his knees. It did keep him from jamming a whole load of backpack gear into his spine. As Grayson got up, twisting Atticus' arms into a cross, Atticus pushed off the ground as hard as he could, using Grayson's own arms as assitance as his body went back to upside down, and again, his feet were aiming for Grayson's chest. This time, he'd push off his chest while aiming to rip himself from Grayson's grasp. Of course, if he let go, he'd have to still deal with Atticus' re-established hold, and even if he did that, there'd still be what could be then considered a dropkick at point blank range.

Grayon watched as the boy pulled off a rather interesting maneuver...
Impressive... Slightly. Leaves him too open though.
Grayon quickly shot up a straight foot, turning his other foot to compensate for the imbalance, and aimed it to hit right under the boy's ribs, knocking the wind from his lungs and perhaps hurting his diaphragm a bit. Since the boy was in the air, and Grayon still had his wrists, it would be nearly impossible to dodge the strike.
*Grayon then felt the boy's kick slam into his chest, although a bit less powerful than it could have been, most likely due to the kick... He then let go of the boy's wrist and used the kick to straighten out his body, allowing the other foot to come up and slam into the boy as well.*
The starred part is only if you allow my kick to hit. If you do somehow dodge it, then I will react to whatever you do then, since dodging it would mean that you have to basically abort your attack... if I have your positioning right in my head.

A slight pain ripped into Atticus' ribs as hefelt the impact of a foot. It was just a toe kick, and in mid-air wasn't so bad, but it did throw off Atticus' positioning in relation to Grayson's chest. Instead of ebing level, he could feel his body twisting, the vector Grayson added to Atticus' movement becoming a factor. No problem, really. Atticus twisted his body further, rotating with the force of the kick. It had already dealt it's damage, so it wasn't merely rolling with the blow. As Atticus went from face-down to face-up, his arms uncrossed by the motion with no effect on Grayson's arms. Instead of the frop kick, Atticus' foot lashed out along the rotation, aiming for around the temple. In his state though, Atticus wasn't amazingly accurate, just enough to know he'd definitely hit the head. And as his body continued to rotate, the other foot came around from the same direction, this time going for the jaw. The lower trajectory was meant to knock Grayson over after the shot to the temple dazed him.
Upon landing on his feet again, Atticus would still be stuck in a crossed-arms fashion, but with his arms switched in respect to which was outside and which was inside thanks to the full three-hundred and sixty degree movement. But if all went well, Grayson wouldn't even be holding on anymore.

OOC: Damn, I've had too much going on... Sorry for the late reply. Oh, and I'll assume that you didn't knock me over, and that I am still standing...
Grayon watched as the boy began to rotate in mid air, flipping over and extending his leg... Grayon immediatley reacted. He twisted his upper boy, fully extending his arms and lowering his head so that the boy would end up attached to Grayon's arms sidelong to his body. Grayon would then wrench the boy up and around, in a lazy arc that would continue the rotation and eventually end up slamming the boy into the ground.
After Grayon felt the contact, he would let go of the boy's arms and watch for movement. If the boy so much as flinched, a quick kick using the knife edge of his foot would go straight into the boy's midsection, right beside his lungs...
If the boy was able to land on his feet or dodge it some other way, Grayon would not let go of his arms, but let go of only one and spin his body to deliver a back (donkey) kick to the boy's midsection.
