Theme SongThis wasn't how it was supposed to end. His death was supposed to be a glorious one. A Man like him, Going out with a bang was the only option! Not like this. Why like this? What cosmic joke decided that Marcus Prasad, man of the world was to spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair? Forced to watch as the world passed him by? Or mabey it had been doing that all along and he had just not noticed. This.....This just wasn't FAIR! As Silk Hauled the man up into the Passenger seat, Marcus remained motionless, Drowning in the depths of Frustration, sorrow and fear. The man didn't even know what killed him either, which was kind of funny now that he thought about it. Unfortunately thinking was painful right now. Resting. Yes, resting was good. He deserved it after all. As Silk began to Drive, Brenner would squirm in the large man's lap, twisting to stretch up and lick at his masters face, whimpering with confusion at the lack of reaction. His little puppy mind not quite able to comprehend his ills.

Bandit would crawl into Silk's lap as she drove. He left Aiko to tend to the whimpering Brenner. The little fox crawled from the bag and cuddled next to the pup. She licked at Brenner's cheek to calm him and then licked at Marcus' cheek. It was an attempt to reassure the pup that everything would be fine. Silk stared off into space, thinking as she drove. Though to most it looked like she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings, she was actually very aware. Every now and again she'd look over at Marcus in hopes of seeing him smiling at her, or hear him tease her about her driving.
When he didn't, those tears began to come back up. It was horribly frustrating for her, though she could only imagine how it was for Marcus right now. Sealed away in there, unable to say anything, do anything. The man would be all over the cuddly pets in his lap right now but... he wasn't. This hurt. She didn't know what to do honestly. She wanted to shake him, scream that this wasn't a funny joke and threaten him to wake up. She just knew that was all pointless. It wouldn't do either of them any good. The tears were once again blinked back. Bandit kneaded into her thighs and purred up at her, trying to get a smile from her.
She looked down at him and offered a weak half hearted smile, trying to placate him. All she got in return was an annoyed look from the fuzzy feline. If he could scream at her it would probably be something like...
"PULL IT TOGETHER WOMAN!"
But... he couldn't. Which frustrated him, cause he really wanted to. They were leaving Dragon Territory now. She stopped at the gates to wait to be let through. They had protocols. Way to make sure you weren't fucking the world up more than it already was. A few looked into the truck and were met with her annoyed glare. It didn't take long for them to wave her on through and then they were on their way home.
"Marcus..."
Silk finally said, though her voice cracked a little. She cleared her throat.
"Marcus...You hear me right? I'd say blink or something but..."
Her voice trailed off. She took a deep shaky breath and repositioned herself in her seat.
"Listen, you little bitch... I told you not to fuckin' leave. I wasn't there to back you up. Don't ever fucking take off like that again."
She sounded angry, but there was a waver in her voice that gave away her real emotions. The ones that were begging him to come back and to not leave her all alone. She was doing it again, that thing where she tried really hard not to show that she cared. Though it was much harder to do now. She even reached up to brush away some rebellious tears that refused to stay down. She continued to drive in the agonizingly calm way. It was making Bandit anxious, so much so, that his tail was lashing around and his ears rested back against his head. He'd feel better when they were home.
