~Bedside manners~ [Rai/Open]

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai winced at the hit, it hurt like hell. But when the man finished speaking Rai smiled.

"And the good Doctor shows his true colors."

Rai rubbed the top of his head and cracked his neck, bringing his hand back down across his face, leaving behind a mask. Then sent out a thought to Apprentice.

Put a shield around him, make sure he can't escape.

And apprentice would do just that, suddenly the man would find him surrounded by a distorted sphere, if he tried attacking it the shield would only become stronger, and would force him back inside.

Then Rai would make a motion across his face again removing the mask.

"So lets start over. Hi my name is Raikotsu Sudeki. Now, who are you?"

.::Muraki watched from his seated position as the young Rai seemed to had grown a backbone of sorts. His browed perked an inch as he watched an eye patch mysteriously appear on the boys face::.

~You don't see that everyday.~

.::Then suddenly he noticed the redhead raise her hand and the plain before and around him became a bit distorted as he was encased in a bubble. Nonchalantly he reached a hand out and tapped it as Rai spoke up::.

~Heh a shield of sorts cute.~

.::Glancing to Rai a huge cheshire cat like smile was plastered on his face. Muraki would stand and slowly clap before throwing his hands up in excitement::.

"FINALLY some guts! Some initiative! Something! You just need the right pushes huh? But still you seek becoming stronger and people believing in your own power but you're behind her shields? This does disappoint me.. But threatening me isn't the best of options even if I'm in here."

.::Rai would see what appeared to be darkness with a shade of green wrapping around Muraki inside the bubble. On the outside he would feel just under his bed a bump before something of the same texture would snake up from underneath at the foot of his bed now visibly was a serpent remaining still until told otherwise. This dark serpent was already present underneath the bed from the time Muraki had sat down the first time. Precautionary reasons of course. Good thing too considering luck favors the prepared. Muraki continued to smiley brightly with closed eyes::.

"I'll put mines away if you put yours."

.::No matter what he would continue speaking as he pointed to his name tag::.

"Muraki... Doctor Hideo Muraki.. I'm not very orthodox about my ways of things but I get the job done where others fail..I am glad to see a spark from you. You're closer to me getting you a suit like mines."

Rai raised his eyebrow. Clever.

"Hmmm, well I only rely on her when I don't intend to harm someone, you see, I'm not so nice when I use my abilities."

Rai chuckled as though he didn't even care about the dark snake on his bed.

"Though it looks as though you have some idea about that don't you? Thats enough, leave him be."

Apprentice would lay her hand back down the shield whisping away as though it was never there.

"So since its obvious that you could have killed me anytime during this past while I suppose I can trust you to play nice... or rather nice enough?"

Rai laughed again and shook his head.

"But seriously who are you? Unorthodox or not you definitely don't seem like the doctor time, like my uncle I have a certain dissatisfaction of doctors, and I don't get that bad feeling about you, rather I'm intrigued. So what is your real purpose here?"

.::Muraki's smile never faded as he would nod along for a bit::.

"It's always the silent, seemingly odd and unsuspecting ones that you need to well.. suspect."

.::Muraki watched the shield dissipate and gave a little wink to the woman, of which he expected nothing in return considering. Looking back to the bedridden individual he kept his smirk as he sat again in his seat. The darkness that swirled around him faded away with the easy like smoke clearing an area. The snake slithered off the bed and around Muraki before simply dissipating as well::.

"I'll play as nice as you play. Yes I could've but that wasn't my intention but I like to be prepared for the unexpected. And it seems like I had good to wish to protect myself no?"

.::Muraki chuckled::.

"Cute trick she has there, you too. Whether you want to hurt or not only rely on yourself kid, no excuses. But yeeeaaa, I get that a lot. I've never been your typical doctor type. No one gets me."

.::Muraki would say the last part with a pout and a childish voice. It was actually comical and something to laugh at a bit. He shrugged it off and continued on::.

"Well aside from doing my job as a doctor? Getting to know you, especially after all that I would certainly like to know more. I'm just as intrigued by you. But I guess I won't be able to hide it for long and I guess I shouldn't. I recognized your last name and figured you had to know Eurydice. I guess I wanted to see how she was doing, it's been so many years. I've missed her."

.::Indeed he had. They had a past no one knew::.

Rai looked at the Doc curiously.

"You know my Aunt? How?"

Rai had so many questions but best to ask one at a time.
