"... It is true that I can match the strength of all three Elder Dragons, and it probably true that I can best your uncle, Amakusa Takehiro, in combat. To be seen as on par with David Blaze, the Storm Dragon, and Leon Sudeki, the Lightning Dragon, was what I strove to achieve. This meeting and discussion with all of you, it was no coincidence. It was hitsuzen..."
Hitsuzen. A naturally foreordained event. A state in which other outcomes are impossible. A result which can only be obtained by a single causality, and other causalities would necessarily create different results. The blade of flame disappearing from his hand, along with the other small flame he had created previously, Kazuya would simply regard JimSeung with his piercing stare, before finally giving a small bow of his head.
"... You have my agreement. I am willing to work with you and your uncle. Do not make me regret my decision JimSeung, or you, your uncle, and your two squad allies, will have to answer to the flames of the Fire Dragon. And they will burn all of you to ashes, bones and all."
Turning his head slightly to watch the tall Korean approach the door, he would train his piercing stare on him as he looked back and grinned at them, only letting up once the young man had left the building entirely.
"... And unexpected. But it won't be easy to talk to Shugo. He's a part of the Dragons, a Dragon Knight if I recall correctly, and the Dragons don't take kindly to strangers walking into Dragon Territory without proof they are welcomed and acknowledged there. He'll be watched like a hawk constantly by all there the entire time. I can try to get in contact with Shugo if he can't, especially if he's a part of Midgard. For now, to avoid drawing attention to Takehiro and his squad, we should focus on claiming territory and establishing a headquarters, as well as gathering more resources. Since we're terrorists, we'd naturally fight against John Strike."

Orion chuckled at Kazuya's statement.
"What part of I can go anywhere do you not get? I'll go grab Shugo if need be, Mekiel will probably come along because I'll blackmail him to. You, Kazuya, quit the Dragons, I don't think they'll be overly fond of you. And anyone from Midgard will be... unpleasantly dealt with sad to say. But we'll let them deal with things their way for now. If they require our help, they'll certainly tell us. "
Orion frowned, carefully thinking about the area.
"Territory is split between the factions, there isn't any neutral territory anymore. Dragons, Crows, Midgard, Gods, Experiments... unless you can convince a for the most part inactive faction that may be around, you will need to assault an existing area to gain a hold of it. And I don't think that's a fight you want right now. The Gods are each stupidly powerful, we already have a decent idea of the Dragons, I don't feel like pissing off Strike right now, the Experiments don't take kindly to most of humanity, and the Crows... well, I just don't feel like messing with them right now. But that's just me, personally. I'll certainly help if I can, but I need to maintain my semi-neutrality. Actively attacking a stronghold is not the way to go about doing that... unless it's Strike, which I don't feel like testing until another faction decides to take a swing."
He shrugged, wandering back to the kitchen. There was little point being back out in the open area anymore.
"Don't know about you guys, but I'm kinda hungry. I'll start looking into food for us. Any preferences?"

I moved back to sit next to my nephew and rested my head in my palms, letting out a really looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong exhale. This was very random, and for having just gotten back to everything, it was too much. Sure, I was used to doing a lot, but, well... y'know.
"Not like we'll be big on the list of priorities with the Dragons around..." Ian looked up at me, confused, and I just put my arm around him, hugging him close. "Anything with food is good for either of us. We've been livin' canned... stuff. Haha," a soft laugh covered my otherwise obvious concern for the boy's well-being.
"What do you think about the whole deal, Kaz?"

"... Oh I understand it perfectly Orion. I was talking about Takehiro and his squad, because as you said, any Midgard soldiers won't exactly be taken kindly to by citizens in Dragon Territory. I've been in Dragon Territory once before, to see Raikotsu Sudeki, but as you've probably expected, I had to keep a low profile."
With the flames in his hands dying out and eventually dissipating, Kazuya's eyes had returned back to gun metal gray and back to hiding in shadows, his arms continuing to remain folded across his chest.
"... Mekiel is right. Compared to the Dragons and the Crows, we're not exactly high level threats, and we're not ambitious enough to launch wave after wave of assaults to claim territory. We're looking to claim a small portion of territory for now, just keep doing what you've been doing Orion, finding out information."
Returning back into the kitchen after Orion and Mekiel, he'd take his position up again the wall once more, giving him a slight shake of his head, before looking over at Mekiel.
"I'll be fine, I have food at home. ... To be honest Mekiel, I wasn't expecting to be approached so quickly after becoming freelance again. I hope Amakusa-san knows what he's doing, asking for alliances with us. He's taking an immense risk with such a gamble, more so because he works under John Strike."
Lifting his head up slightly so his eyes would be visible, though just barely, beneath his hair, he would appear less intimidating, though it was never his intention from the beginning.
"We may end up fighting against him, and allies or not, I won't hold back against any of them. I do not wish to risk the chance of John Strike finding out about the partnership made."

Orion began pulling out meat from the fridge, smiling.
"We have steak. This is good. Guess the bartender had plans yesterday before I kicked him out... Mekiel, scavenge around here for some potatoes would you?"
Orion began pulling out various cooking utensils, talking as he did so to Kazuya.
"I don't think Strike overly cares, so long as we don't initiate hostilities. Otherwise, hunting down the three of us would be incredibly easy, especially with his resources. And I'd be careful if you do end up fighting Amakusa: that man was a monster before the world went to hell, and odds are he's only gotten stronger. He was able to kick the shit out of Valo, Tsubame, and Mekiel without that much effort, let alone me. If I had to take a guess at his combat abilities, I'd say he's roughly the equal of an Elder Dragon, minus the QI."
Turning on the stove, Orion began humming under his breath as it began heating up, pulling out various spices, salt, and pepper. He cast an eye back to Mekiel and the boy.
"Oi, Mekiel, how you like your steak? And information gathering is what I do best. I'll keep my head down... I attract enough attention as I am, no need to paint a bullseye on my person."

[OoC: Sorry for the wait, y'all.]
I rubbed my eyes, irritated just by thinking about all this. It was so hectic. Why did it have to be so hectic?!
"Okay, say we do get territory - which we're going to - who's to say Tak won't be the first guy sent after us? And if we're up against him, we're screwed, man, the guy's hell with legs!" He was the strongest guy I'd ever fought. Like, in my life. Forget the Cerulean*, Tak killed that bastard. "We need to play our cards right, Kazzy. And you too, Orion. You're lumped with us in this. Tak's guys know your face."
I sighed, running my hands through my hair. "Uh, well-done's fine. No real preference though. Thanks buddy." Steak sounded freaking awesome. "Tak knows what he's doing, I don't doubt that." But what could he gain from this alliance? He didn't need to ask for information, he could pound it out of everyone.
[OoC: *The Cerulean is one of Takehiro's enemies. Mekiel and Orion ended up fighting the guy several times. Refer to Takehiro's NPCs.]

"... If we do end up facing Takehiro, I will handle him. You say he is roughly the equal of an Elder Dragon, minus Qi, but Jimseung himself stated I am one of few people who could best Takehiro in combat. Even Leon himself told me I was strong enough to take the naming test and be done with it, for there was little he could teach me. If we're going to hit one of Strike's strongholds, we can't just rush in and bulldoze our way through. We'll have to plan carefully for this Mekiel, to survive."
Despite the undeniable facts, Kazuya would not underestimate or hold back against Takehiro, partnership or not. In a fight, they would be expected to fight back, because if they didn't, they could very well end up losing their lives. And Kazuya did not plan to die so easily, not when he had a daughter that needed him.
"... I will be able to hold my own against Takehiro, if it comes to it, Mekiel. I have fought David Blaze and Leon Sudeki multiple times before, and I have no intention of dying, not when there are those I must live for. I just hope he has more planned to gain from this alliance than just my strength..."
