After School (Bella)

[Bella]

She smiled softly at his comment. To most it might seem that way but to her it was normal. She never knew it any other way really except what was happening now. This was just the way her life was and that was okay with her because she didn't know what she was missing.

"Really, my father has never been there for me. Two weeks in the summer I would stay with him but that was it. I mean, I've never really had a dad. So getting to see him every so often is more than normal for me. I guess it sounds really weird but it's true. This is pretty average for me." she told him with a shrug.

He asked if she was finished with her hot chocolate and she took another few sips. It seemed that he was ready to go already. Either he was a fast drinker, liked the sunset, or she was boring him to death. She hoped it wasn't the latter as she sat her empty cup on the table and wiped her mouth.

"Sure, lets go. I bet the sunset is beautiful from the park." she said as she stood up and waited for him to join her.

[Jyo]

"Sorry if I rushed you." He said seeing Bella finish her drink and get ready to go. He stood up as well stretching slightly.
"I don't do too well just sitting and also I highly enjoy the sunsets. between those two things I', just a bit ancy." He said with a shrug.

He once more held the door for her and helped her into the car and then gunned the engine again and pulled out of the coffee shop parking lot. It had been a nice place. he'd have to make sure to come back.

After a silent drive that only took a few minutes Jyo stopped in front of the park and got out opening Bella's door as well. He took his shades off and looked around for a good view but couldn't really find one until he saw something the caught his eye.
"Say Bella...." He said leading her to the trunk of the tree.
"How good are you at jumping?" He asked.

[Bella]

"No worries. I didn't want you to sit here too long." she said as they got up and left the coffee shop.

After a silent and somewhat awkward ride to the park she got out once again after Jyo opened the door for her. She was not used to such courtesty in this 'do it yourself' world. Together they walked through the park and she wanted to hold his hand really bad but that was extremely bold and it wasn't like her at all to just reach out and grab it so instead she just let hers dangle a bit so he could take it if he wanted to.

Getting to a tree she looked up at it when he asked if she could jump. She almost chuckled.

"I'm a dancer. A ballet dancer at that. Of course I can jump." she chuckled. "Why are we going up in the tree?" she asked.

She looked up at him in wonder. It would be fun if that was indeed what he had planned. It had been a long time since she had climbed up in a tree. In a skirt no less.

[Jyo]

Jyo gave a smile looking up to one branch in particular. He noticed her hand and the way it was hanging and gave it a gental squeeze but the hold didn't linger.
"Well I'm thinking to a rather decent height. I can see a clearing that should give us a very nice veiw and support our wheight as well." He said and deftly leapt up landing on a branch nearly ten feet up. He looked down.
"Can you get up or would you like a hand. My assumption was correct. it is really lovely up her." He said

[Bella]

He squeezed her hand and she blushed softly as she watched him jump to the ten foot high branch. That was easy for him what was it a four foot jump .. maybe. More like three and a few inches. She put herself in a certain position and thought about her jump closing her eyes as she suddenly slipped off her shoes and began to spin on the grass until she suddenly sprang up clasping the branch she pulled herself up using her arms.

Getting up there she almost fell and used him for stability. Blushing heavily she moved away from him and just sat next to him. The view up here was indeed beautiful and she let her legs dangle off the branch.

"You're right the view, is breathtaking." she admitted as she looked over at Jyo her brown hair was changing colors in the soft sunset light.

[Jyo]

Seeing her nearly fall Jyo's hand shot out not only giving her stability but a hand up. The action had been sharp but strangly gental showing Jyo had an almost alraming amount of control over his body. He sat down next to her and smiled.
"Yeah. I come up here ant night and stare at the stars for a while. It reminds me of a place from when I was younger. Still visit it every so often." he said and almost unconsiously put an arm around her shoulder as the bottom of the sun hit the horizen.

[Bella]

Bella felt him help her up and stabalize herself. She was grateful he had been here already. She smiled as he sat down next to her and began explaining how this place reminded him of somewhere special. She leaned against him gently her head on his shoulder when he put his arm around her shoulder.

"It's beautiful. It reminds me of the sunsets back home. Only it was over the mountains and not the city. Yet still in a way at this time of day the tall buildings almost look like mountains." she said softly as she placed one of her hands on his leg very gently having no other real place to put it.

"So Jyo, What are your plans for after graduation?" she asked softly as she watched the beautiful sunset fall.

[Jyo]

Jyo couldn't help but smile as bella leaned against him. he had very little contact with anyone besides Katie and Lene since starting to attend #499. Having someone who was simply enjoying his company like this was a pleasent feeling.
"Interesting comparison. Your home must have been like where I was originally trained. out in the woods during the summer." He said and his memories of Ryokashi and Kara made his eyes mist up slightly. But he was also smiling.

"As for my plans after shool. I think I might like to teach. I'm heavily into literature and it's lost on many people now. humanity's greatest accomplishment was our writing. It's not really appriciated like it should be on the whole." he said.

[Bella]

Bella smiled as her eyes stayed on the horizon because she knew if she looked up at Jyo right now she would blush like mad. She heard him talk about becoming a teacher and she smiled. That seemed to fit. She could really see that. Easily.

"I can see that. You have that refined way to your speach that begs those to listen but also you say things in such a conversational way that it is almost like two buddies talking instead of you actually teaching something." she told him with a small smile.

"As for myself, I'm not sure. I like to dance but I'm not sure that I'm good enough or that it is my final dream. What I really like to do is bake. So maybe Ill work something out with that." she said softly as the wind blew through her long brown hair.

[Jyo]

Jyo chuckled. Bella was the first to comment on how he talked. Jyo liked useing proper english and rarely said things such at that's. But would instead say That is. Probably what was noticable. But it was true it was in a relaxed manner.
"Well I wish you the best of luck with that. It's not the easiest thing to do to start up a reseraunt or so forth. But still. You have just as good a chance as anyone. mabey even more so if you reallt gor for it." he said as he reached up and pulled the hair band out letting his long hair fall freely. He rarely did it but he was relaxed enough that having his hair tied back seemed pointless.

The sun was about a quarter of the way down. The sky seemed to be on fire now. jyo involentarly shuddered remembering the riot back where he came from. He had seen many terrible things that day and it had permantly effected him.

[Bella]

Bella stayed leaning against him. He told her that he wished her luck with her baking endeavor. For her just opening a small pastry shop would be enough. Icecream and pastries. That was all she really wanted. She didn't want a big chain or anything she just wanted a job that she was happy in.

With his movement she looked up and saw him let her hair loose. Like her own now they blew some of the strands entwining slightly with each other. Reaching up with the hand that had been on his thigh she tucked one of his strands behind his ear. She blushed softly and looked back at the sunset.

That was until she felt him shiver. She wasn't cold but she looked up sharply.

"Are you cold? Should we go? I don't want you to catch a cold." she said softly laying her hand on his leg again.

[Jyo]

Jyo smiled looking down at her.
"No it isn't that. I just was reminded of some things back at #499. Alot of them are best forgetten. But some of the instances will never go away." He said almost sadly but his smile showed again.
"Don't worry about it. it's in the past and you didn't come to listen to my problems." he said gently and brushed a few strand of her hair from her face that had just been caught by the breeze.
She really is pretty and very mature for someone so young. I think it's really the latter of the two that makes her so interesting. he thought as he locked eyes with her for several moments but didn't say anything else for a bit.

[Bella]

Bella looked up at him and smiled back when he told her that things at 499 had happened and that sometimes things triggered the memories. She could understand that well enough she figured. He brushed some of her hair out of her face and she blushed deeply as her eyes locked on with his.

"You're right I didn't come here specifically to hear your problems. But I came here to hear you. So if it is problems or not that we talk about it matters little so long as the time together continues." she told him with a soft smile.

His eyes came down and locked right onto hers and despite the blush that invaded her cheeks she kept her eyes locked on his. She didn't move or anything. Not just yet. He had to move first. He was Mr. Charisma and Confidence.

[Jyo]

"You are wise beyond your years you know that?" He said softly raising a hand to stroke her cheek. Jyo wasn't sure why it was hard for him to try anything with Bella. Sure there was the age thing. But that wasn't too much of an issue. He figure it was the fact he really didn't know her at all yet. But mabey that was why he was eager to be here with her. They could change the fact they didn't know each other well.

"But I guess I can talk about a few things. they are pretty pain ful to talk about but I never did unload to anyone about them. Perhapes it's the fact everything is botteld up and trying to get out." he said thoughtfully. still absently stronking her cheek softly.
"I guess the question is how to really start." he said

[Bella]

Bella smiled softly as Jyo's hand came up and began to stroke her cheek. It was a move in the least. She liked it. She tended to be a rather shy girl but for some reason it wasn't too bad around Jyo. She blushed softly but never once took her eyes away from his.

He told her she was wise and she smiled. She just spoke from her mind and her heart that was all. She did her best day after day to live the best life she could. He told her that he might be willing to tell her some of the things that had happened but he didn't know where to start.

"The beginning, it tends to be a good place." she said softly as she reached up and brushed the back of her finger tips against his own cheek. "Tell me, Jyo, your story."
