Reunion [Valo]

[Valo Morei]

She smiled weakly. A report on Valo's progress? She knew better than anyone that this kid had cheated death a thousand times over. She knew that he would pull through this with flying colors... as long as he had the will to fight. That was her main concern. She shook her head.

"No... that's quite okay. I know that this will be nothing for him."

She looked over to her desk, a mess of all the files she had collected over the years just scattered about as she tried to figure out a solution to their problem. And here one just literally walks through the door.

"My time would be better spent figuring out where Haru is, or at least what his next move will be... Once Valo's cured, he'll want to put a stop to this once and for all. I wish to aid him to that end..."

To exterminate Valor and all of its traces from this earth. She had to wonder if that meant him as well... she looked up to the giant, and tried to be as strong as she could.

"Please, just watch over him... You both as well, Zeke, Arden..."

She felt that he would have them stationed in the area regardless, but at least it would offer her another measure of security without the Sky Dragon around.

[Amakusa Takehiro]

- The two men nodded, and Arden would have made his way over to retrieve the serum, the two then making their leave. Takehiro stood to his full height, bowing his head in respect. "He will be back to you in no time, even better than before." A hand would come to her shoulder, reassuring, before he, too, made his leave.

The red haired color nodded, unsure of what to say as she just watched them leave without a word. Nine weeks without him, she wasn't quite sure what to do. She reached up to take her glasses off with a sigh, setting them down on the desk as she walked over and slumped down on the couch.

"Even better than before, huh...? That'd be something to see."

She smiled softly, laying down and realizing she would have to tell everyone else about this development at some point. But for now, she had to get some much needed rest, and she let herself drift off into sleep. Both she and Valo were in for huge changes when they awoke.
