"Well what are you waiting for? If we ain't moving then we may as well head back out and listen to his sales pitch."
He was getting a bit antsy. They were inside a living ship surrounded by experiments and Strike. And he still had a flight to catch in a few days.

Leon was still concerned with the water slowly filling the room.

David turned to look at Mathew in his seat, dark purple eyes scrunching up as he grinned. He knew what they could or could not see. This ship...was pretty much his. He, David Blaze, had his own base that could get out of Strikes reach. He would ask the room to stop filling up, and to empty of the water.
"You guys wanna see some shit?"
He would ask the ship to open the front panel, so the other two could see what he saw.
In front of them, through a viewing panel, they would see a massive star, and a solar system that was completely unfamiliar to them.
"Welcome to Alpha Centari, the closest solar system to our own. We...are in fucking space. Also, this ship is mine. Like...mine. No offense to you dudes, but literally, this thing is mine. Sooner you acknowledge it the better."
He laughed...not spitefully or condescendingly. Just...excited and pleased.

Leon looks out the viewing panel and is totally hyped about being in space.
"Dibs on being the first to break in new worlds. With gratuitous amounts of sex."

"You've got to be fucking kidding!"
He rushed to the front panel, leaning forward to see as much as he could. Holy crap this was so cool! This was something that he had never imagined being able to do. Ever. This was just beyond cool.
"Well yeah, we don't have masks."
So obviously.
"Though it makes me feel less crappy about unlocking a bunch of secrets to life and shit."
He had a huge shit eating grin though as he kept looking out at space. Fuck this was cool.

He asked the ship to punch Mathew in the dick- not enough to hurt or kill him, just more symbolically.
"Though we're gonna have to talk about all this shit you learned."
David was given more knowledge...causing him to feel like he was Neo being opened up to this crazy melding with the ship...he felt powerful...beyond powerful. He gave a smirk.
"So. Listen up. While melding with this thing...I learned that pretty much everything Strike said is true. Also...he could probably destroy this ship. I wonder..."
David would see if there was a way for the ship to turn invisible, so even Strike wouldn't know it was there!

The ship would show a diagram of its own cells. A layer underneath the initial flesh of its outer layer then a large layer of what would be like super stomach acid that eats anything organic. They all passed through that section safely, but should anyone try to break in they'd die from that, and the ship could regenerate. The ship was suggesting dropping that on Mathew, cause it didn't have many other internal defenses.
However the ship didn't have invisibility it could hide its life force and Qi signature. To the point Leon's Seikatsugan wouldn't pick up the ship.
"Yeah he probably could. So Strike is thousands of years old, and what?"
Cause Leon don't listen to crazy people.

"And as far as I'm concerned it doesn't change anything. I still plan to kill him."
Because it was personal.

He took a deep breath, ignoring Mathew at first.
"So...fuck theres a lot to go through. Basically...There were creators, who made Strike to be their general. Then they made humans...at one point, humans got Qi, and went insane with it. Started blowing shit up or something...they sent a meteor at us and Strike blew it up. Now, I assume, he wants revenge. I doubt the Creators would ever come back but...if they did, it would be a boon to have a unified army."
David decided not to drop Mathew in the stomach for now. He tucked it in the back of his head for later.
"And as for killing Strike...maybe. I meant for me- you obviously have some vendetta against him. But I...I haven't made up my mind. I doubt he cares about us...he seems to see us all as pawns, but much differently than you."
He decided to, while talking, analyze defense and offensive capabilities of the ship!

Mathew decided to be blunt about it.
"He killed one of the few people I consider a friend, in his home, because he wouldn't give him the trophy I was taking from Barker's body."
So yeah, it was purely personal for him. He didn't have a lot of friends, and the ones he did he valued beyond almost anything. Loyalty was important to him, always had been, and always would be.

He grinned.
"I understand. Doesn't mean we cant tackle the big threat together and kill him at the end, right?"

"You think the creators are actually a threat? You said yourself you doubt they will be coming back."
Which made them seem not all that threatening to him. Versus Strike who was on Earth, with their loved ones.

David grinned, pointing out at the star.
"Mathew- fucking look where we are dude! I love the people back there, but fuck Strike! We have a ship! We can take them all with us. These Creators- THEY are the big dogs out here, somewhere among the stars, not Strike. Hes a small fry. Truth be told, we could kill him now and I wouldn't be devastated. But he has knowledge and power we could use against the big dogs out here. Thats all im saying."

"We can't take everyone though. Sure we can take the people we know but what about everyone else that we leave with him? What he is doing to people. Remember how pissed off everyone is with Barker for the small experiments that he did?"
Lots of talk about killing him and how he shouldn't be allowed to survive.
"Well from the little I got to see, Strike's already doing way worse. And not only that, but the people he is tinkering with are also being robbed of their free will. Does that really sit well with you? You really able to let that shit continue because we have our families up on a ship where he can't get to us?"

David sat back slowly, watching Mathew for several seconds.
It was true- robbing people of their free will was like nails on a chalkboard for him. He chewed his lip, pondering to himself.
"You make good points. As long as you know that his knowledge and power can be useful...I'll leave the decision to let him live or die up to you. Whether sooner or later. For now...lets at least work in the system. After all...it was just steal a ship and never talk to him again, he may wipe out us and our people just to stop a threat."
David would activate that ability to hide the ship that it granted him earlier, so that nobody could sense where it was until he turned it off.
