The Follow-up

Leon had taken off into Crow territory since it would take at least a day for the next assault, or so he predicted. He met up with the core squads he set up and sent them on their missions splitting them up into even smaller squads of four. Like they had been taught when in a situation like this.

"We are now on secret operations duty. Stay low, gather intel, make sure we blend in."

Leon would take to an apartment Lucien had prepared for Leon or other Dragons visiting. Of course if any Crow did show up they would be told the situation and if they hadn't seen the skirmish at their borders that Leon and the others defended without them, he would promptly tell them.

.::Geezus how long had they been running for? Actually how long had she been running for? She felt like she had been running for days nonstop. The poor woman had barely had a chance to wrap her mind about anything. From her dream state, to waking up, to her kids. She had to react on the fly and though she was used to it still she needed some time to breath. Adrenaline was running as high as a sugar rush. Though on her merrily run she found herself a niffy new weapon. She wrapped it up holding the hilt and the links as she finally slowed into a jog behind Leon. Once inside the apartment Eury wouldn't even move away from the door but instead let her back hit it with her head tilting back. Her eyes closed as she finally let her transformation wash away. Ironically that would leave her back in her short silk lingerie and robe and bare feet. Just how he left her originally after their 'couples exercise'. She sighed loudly. About two months ago::.

"Why are you so much trouble?"

Not that she was any LESS trouble. She was equal if not more in some cases.

"I think its the last name."

Leon would comment as he looked around the apartment. Basic, two bedroom one bath. Kitchen connected to the dining and living rooms. Nothing to bat an eye lash at, but not the extravagance Leon had been surrounding himself with recently. It almost made him laugh, but he had to dress his wounds. Moving to the kitchen he grabbed a wash cloth and put it under the hot water, grabbed a knife and looked to Eury.

"We should be safe here. I need to clean this hole in my shoulder before it becomes a problem. You should probably rest, and change. Just don't rest for a couple months like last time."

Leon would chuckle as he raised the knife to make another cut so the blood would drain and not stagnate as he pulled the hot rag from the water and began to wrap it.

"What happened by the way? You just went down and didn't get back up. I brought the Titan Hypnos from Mount Olympus here to peer into your dream, but it didn't work. You had some sort of psychic block up the whole time."

She chuckled lightly letting her body relax. Relaxed a little too much that a loud thud was sounded on the ground as her newly acquired weapon dropped out of her hands. Lazily she only opened an eye and tilted her head down a little to see. She had no desire to pick it back up though as she began to peel herself off the door the ending of his words caught her attention.

~Wait what? A couple of months? Not this crap again.~

Eury mentally sighed. A couple months she was out for this time. Just another chunk of life gone. Who knows the crap she missed this time again. Her eyes rolled as she walked if not almost stomped annoyed towards Leon's direction.

"Give it."

Yup she was annoyed. Not with him just again? Really? She cleaned the wound more properly while simultaneously using her psy energy to deaden any pain he might've felt. Not that she really needed to do that with him it was just a force of habit. Just as she was going to make an attempt to close the wound by pulling molecules together she stopped and stared at him. Funny the reason behind her stopping wasn't his questioning but who he said he had brought over and the title he donned on him. Eury could be a bit obnoxious when it came to history and mythology. She was truly a big nerd about it and when someone said something incorrect she had to correct them. Shifting her weight to her right her facial expression seemed a bit of a annoyed 'really?' look to it.

"Me and you need to have a mythology lesson sometime again. Hypnos was no Titan mister. If memory serves me correct he's a deity older than the Titans. He's a daimon of sleep. But that's besides the point. Then again Morpheus is the damion of dreams that was another choice."

And with that she went back to what she was trying to do with a little hmph~

Not that she was still accepting of things of that nature as it actually confused her. The Gods stuff thingy. But she was going to leave that alone. Hell she was just spitting out her knowledge.

But it faded quickly her little playful snippy tone as he might have noticed her face soften into a serious expression. She was no longer on his side but had slipped in-between him and the counter while her head shined dimly a purple shade over his wound. There was a part of her that didn't want to really talk about what she was dreaming about. At least not in details. There was a lot she had to think about, but no denying some of those parts were torturous to her mind and for those months that had passed she must've looked visibly pale and drained at some point.

"I'm not entirely sure. I went downstairs and I felt a sharp pain in my head I just couldn't fight off. I must've been still drained mentally from the exposure at the facility. Tch a few months, damn. I can't say that I put up that psychic block I don't know. Maybe I did. If I did maybe it was to keep something in from reaching any of you, but then again apparently I've been releasing psychic pulses that led Strike to that ship. All I can say is I never stopped fighting."

Who had it been that placed her in that state? Could've been Strike but then wouldn't it have meant he would've came sooner. Or maybe it was Strike but she was holding him back from finding is way but she couldn't any longer. After all apparently she did go brain dead at one point but it seems her psy energy was hard at work repairing. Interesting. A part of her didn't seem to want to share the details and it was a bit obvious which was unusual for her to allow. She couldn't close up the wound with her power as it probably had to do with her being tired still. But he clearly had other wounds and if he allowed she'd remove any of his upper body coverings, taking his hand and planned on leading him to the bathroom. Apartments weren't knew to her and things were easy to find. If he had allowed her leading she'd have him sit on the closed toilet seat as she looked around silently for more aid to continue cleaning him up. Eury was always so selfless. She had been something truly trying occur in her head for a few months, could've possibly died, yet here she was preferring to take care of him.

"A primordial deity indeed, but this is not the same as the mythology. This one calls himself and his brother Titans. They are large like the ones that currently call themselves Titans, there may be some relation. However the knowledge we share in mythology differs from our current reality."

Leon would correct as he let her finish with his wound. He'd remove the Power jacket with her help and let her lead him to the bathroom as he pondered about her odd trip into unconsciousness.

"I have been sending my sensor type Yun Oguri on missions, so I must not of gotten a report of psy pulses. Probably would of been better prepared if so."

Leon had a few more cuts on his chest and one good one on his back.

"I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. You do know that right? There are others that call themselves Titans and their large. Those are beautiful descriptions."

.::She'd shoot the best smirk she could muster up at the moment::.

"Though if they still embody the personifications maybe they might be prone to falter to what was their downfall once before no? So maybe not so different. Just maybe."

.::She closed the stopper in the sink so the water would not drain. She poured a bit of peroxide in the warm water and let the cloth rest inside. Looking in the cabinet she found a band to tie her hair up in a messy ponytail. Removing the robe she let it drop to the floor without a care::.

"I don't know what to tell you about it. But I felt the wave he sent me, and he told me he was following what I was sending out. It couldn't have been that often that I did considering."

.::Taking the cloth she rang it out first before sitting on him in a straddling position. Well sure it could be taken differently considering her attire and well everything else but she just didn't feel like standing and it was just easier. She began cleaning the cuts on his chest, it probably stung a little, but she continued with her head down and her free hand resting on his hip::.

"I'm sorry."

.::She still felt like it was her fault. She did feel weak that didn't block it more. That she let any of it happen. Yes she fought hard to come back and ended with admitting she was strong and that she was a leader, but right now she needed to express it. She was never one to apologize so much. She usually held things in about feeling weak::.

Leon's muscles flinched as the application of the disinfectant went to work, however Leon's face didn't make much motion. However he considered her words. Should the need arise Leon was prepared to do battle with them, but Thanatos and Hypnos proved allies.

"For what? You proved most helpful in the battle."

Leon was lost as to why she would be apologizing. Once this was done however Leon would be going to the Titan Camp to see what kind of help they could offer or if he could offer his own services in exchange for some sort of base of operations safe from Midgard.

.::She felt his muscles tense while she worked and placed her free hand on his temple. With a low purple glow she deadened the pain receptors so his body would no longer react to it but just relax. Getting up she'd go to the sink wringing out the cloth and dipping it again before returning and motioning for him to turn around::.

"For leaving myself vulnerable enough for that. For letting him use him again."

.::She glanced over his scar and shook her head::.

"You're really hilarious sometimes you know that."

.::She spoke in the midst of playfully nuzzling the side of his neck before standing straight again and cleaning the wound on his back::.

"I have no idea who you're confusing me with. You weren't even around how would you know hmm? All I did for the most part was have a small convo with Strike and LOTS of running. I know I like running but geezus I don't think I've ever ran that much. I felt like I was running a damn cross country marathon."

.::She rolled her eyes and shook her head again with a quick snicker, before she fell a little more serious again::.

"I didn't do anything. I had just fought with Lily and her I would; no that I could take charge. That I'm not weak and I can lead."

.::Lily? Her long deceased sister? Leon would've only seen pictures of Lily when she was younger. Must've been during her dream state. Eury never really wanted to play the leadership roles. She only took them up if she absolutely needed to. Even Leon knew that about her. But seemed like she found something in that slumber::.

Huff huff huff...

For something that didn't have lungs... or muscles... or really anything but blood... The clone was tired, out of breath, and sore from all the running around he was doing just trying to find 'his' Aunt and Uncle. He ended up talking to a few of the locals in Crow territory who seemed really freaked out by the fact that a solid black creature was talking to them. But he eventually caught wind that the two were in an abandoned apartment, and so off he was... again.


After what seemed like forever the clone finally made it to this hole in the wall apartment complex. The clone would then go from apartment to apartment knocking on the doors till he found the one he was looking for.

[Mr. Kaar]

"Well without you and Rai I don;t think I would of come out of that fight with Gravi the victor."

Leon would chuckle a bit, then get serious when she did.

"I'm glad you've grown through that conflict, and yet sorry you had to go through it. I wish there was something I could of done to help."

Then a knock on the door. Leon felt slightly cock blocked some how... Whatever.

"I'll get it."

He'd move to get the door if not stopped.

If not stopped he'd answer the door and look at the clone.

"It's just Rai."

He'd call out to Eury.

"Was that it's name? Sounds like a topping."

.::What? It did!::.

.::As she cleaned the wound on his back she listened carefully and was suddenly taken back by his words. In her trip into the abyss she experienced a lot of things. A lot of possible revelations. Some things came to light that she hadn't either thought about or allowed herself to think in completion. There were thoughts of him and if she was honest they might not have been the greatest cause they had come from a place of pain. But hearing him now just maybe he was the guy she met so long ago. When she had a real moment all to herself she was going to have so much to think about. Late in the game but it was still good to hear. But now how long was it going to last? Was she going to no longer be dismissed or ignored? Was she now going to be more involved in things she should be? And then there was a knock at the door. She'd let him get up while she let the water finally drain and she wrung out the cloth. She grabbed some patches and wraps and set it down as she heard Leon shout out::.

~Rai? I thought he went on the ship~

.::Eury picked up her silk robe and put it back on as she tied it her bare feet softly tapped against the floor as she came out the bathroom. She was always an extremely light walker and if she wanted to be completely silent she was fully capable. Now considering Leon went to the door shirtless and she was in a sexy little nightgown and in the midst of closing her robe the situation could easily be taken for what it wasn't. Before her mouth could open to say hi she was cut off by actually seeing 'Rai' or rather not Rai. She paused in the living room staring blankly::.

"Um, I know I missed a lot but that's so not Rai, unless he can turn himself black now."

'Rai' would blink at the two before speaking. Adjusting his vocal cords to sound like the real Rai, though it would probably take a moment or two for him to get the right tone while speaking.

"Whaaat? Psh, totally the real Rai here... Up high... Uncle."

The clone would raise an arm in high five position.

"Come on you know the secret shake!"

Totally hope they have a secret shake...

Leon would look at Eury with a raised eye brow. Her comment struck a cord and Leon looked back at the now black Rai who raised his hand with an odd voice talking about a high five or hand shake. Leon's face would remain curious as he looked 'Rai' up and down trying to pick out any differences. Seeing nothing that jumped out at him except the now African American appearance Leon would smile and raise his own hand.

"My nigga."

And thus would begin a near five minute hand shake routine involving elbows, shoulders, feet, head buttes, pyrotechnics, a line of dancing vegas show girls, David Bowie in a sing off against Micheal Bolton. Which finally ended with Leon punching 'Rai' in the Schnozz.

"I'm pretty sure its him."

*Face palm times like a thousand*

.::Eury just couldn't take it. Leon was just so ridiculous at times it was beyond her. Honestly she had her moments of randomness when she was younger, even now her childish ways could emerge but he really took the cake over her anytime. As everything was going on Eury kept the hand on her face, shaking her head continuously until it ended and Leon declared he was so sure. Sighing, she finally looked up with a annoyed tiresome expression::.

"Got that out your system hmm?"

.::She stared Leon and shook her head again she couldn't resist chuckling and rolling her eyes once more. She wasn't budging on this manner. 'It' might've had Rai's features but to Eury something still looked and felt off::.

"That didn't even sound like Rai.. Prove it then, Rai. What did I tell you at my house and what happened afterwards?"

.::She watched from her distance as her eyes remained in their purple hue. Leon probably hadn't notice before that her eyes weren't those hazel green gems since she changed back. The right hand that dangled at her side started to show purple energy slowly starting to swirl about her hand as she patiently waited::.

The clone would let out a breath as he completed the handshake, not sure how he was able to keep up but he did it, then Eury made her claim and asked him a question. Luckily though he knew everything Rai knew. He would clear his throat finally getting Rai's voice down.

"You told me I shouldn't trust you so much, then you proved it by consistently face planting me in the fight after."

The clone held his breath as he noticed she was powering up, this could be bad...
