Einrik shook his head. But he was listening.



Kiyr tilted her head, apparently curious at Damien's interest. "He owed me that much."

Damien searched her eyes, making it clear he wanted to question her more. This was his family after all. Instead, he showed her the ultimate respect. He trusted her, indicating so with a small smile and a nod.

"That he does."

He looked at Einrik.

"I'd like to speak with her alone. Go away for a minute."

Einrik quirked an eyebrow. He hadn't said a thing about Scene as his loyalty dictated, even though he had an itch that said for her safety, he should. He glanced between them and shrugged before sauntering off.

"Least I know you won't try to kill her. David and Arianna both would have your head for it."



The blonde held Damien's gaze as long as he held hers...only breaking it to look at the Titan's retreating back. He had no idea...

It was ironic.

She shifted her attention back to Damien and inclined her head. "You wish to continue questioning me."

Not a question, though it echoed of a mild one.

Damien watched Einrik go before looking back at Kiyr with her question, blinking.

"No. David trusts you. More importantly, you are going to be my family now. So, I'm going trust you. I asked to be alone with you because I want to talk about mine and Ariannas wedding."

He would chew his lip a moment, stepping back to sit on the bed.

"I need to go back down to Earth...to get Ariannas wedding ring. I gave her an engagement ring but...I don't have one for the actual wedding. And I'd like you to come with me to help pick it out and feed Arianna a line about going scouting. Not a lie, as we are going to scout......just for a ring."

He gave a smile, blushing (YES, HE WAS BLUSHING), while looking at the ground. It was obvious this was the reason he wanted Einrik gone. He...was being open with Kiyr. A strange thing for him to do but, again, she would be family now.

Kiyr watched him quietly a moment before sighing.

"There is more to why David is remaining the extended time... But if you trust me, then I can show the same to you. You, first."

She tilted her head and stepped inside the room to listen, first, to what he had to say. Her eyes softened and she smiled, lips stretching a little wider at his blush. Kyrie moved over in front of him and eased down into a crouch, arms wrapping lightly around her legs as she balanced on her feet.

"I think we could manage that, but let me first ask you: would you prefer a custom ring, instead? Ceres could process one...though perhaps you would like to find the diamonds on Earth?"

[Damien Blaze]

He looked up at her searching her eyes.

"Well...see, my mom had a ring, and she left it in a very safe place- I made sure of it, in the past, so that my future self could have it. Well...I want to get it, if its still there. If not...then maybe I'll have you and David fuse one for her."

One mixed of Qi and light and energy and love. But...he really wanted his mothers. Just...for that symbolism.

The blonde's blue eyes flickered with Damien's words...and softened further, still. She nodded after only a second or two.

"Heirlooms are important... Of course we can go."

[Damien Blaze]

He smiled.

"Good. This...will be good for us to spend some time together."

He would stand and wait for her to follow suit before he offered her a hug.

The little blonde nodded and stood. The offer for the hug was a little surprising, but, she took it, then stepped back. She had already decided how she wanted to go about this, already gun shy considering both David and Einrik's reactions.

"Do you know a man by the name Andrew Black, Damien..?"

[Damien Blaze]

Damien let her move away after, eyebrows furrowing a little at her question.

"I do. He's an interesting individual. Has very odd colored eyes. Like he's wearing contacts. But he's not unkind. Reminds me a lot of David, sans the desire to save everyone on earth."

He smiled, offering the small joke to get over the awkwardness of his blushing.

Kiyr paused a second.

"That is an apt description." She smiled but continued. "He is aboard the ship. I...do you know or know of Scene, as well..?"

Moment of truth.

He searched her eyes.

"Yes."

It was all he offered her in response to that question.

Kyrie nodded slightly, but didn't look away.

"Two sides of one person... But, they will be staying with us for now, to help. They want to have a chance at seeing Mitsuki again, by doing so."

[Damien Blaze]

Damien snorted.

"That's not all. If scene is here, he came willingly for someone. Likely Andrew wants Mitsuki. Who does Scene want? Who would Scene take in recompense for Andrews lady....?"

He sounded curious...as he didn't really know.

Kiyr's head tipped slowly to the side. She blinked at Damien a few times before straightening.

"How long have you known them..?" She seemed equally as curious as he was. If not moreso, considering she knew but didn't want to spill the beans... "You seem to know both sides well enough to make that distinction."
