Just as she was about to shrug and resume reading her book, convinced things would work themselves out with or without the mounting panic, they came in.
The man and woman stood tall and imposing in the frame of the door, their features lined with disgust. They spoke exactly one sentence of nonsense, and the building tension came to it's Zenith. Shrieks of terror went up on all sides and many of the people ran for the door in a blind panic, pushing and shoving in an effort to flee, to escape whatever ill omen these two presented.
Wren genuinely had no idea why people were freaking out. They were just some weird ass LARPers in some shiny armour. Rolling her eyes, Wren scoffed, looked back down at her book, and resumed reading. It was probably just some dumb school recruitment thing for a play or whatever. Her old school pulled this sort of shit all the time.
Although... the Drama Club in her old school never made people flee in a blind panic. And some of the kids were going up to confront the over-enthusiastic LARPers. Improv, maybe?
....Hmm.
Ah, well.

Di-di-ding~
SJ had gotten a text message. She had already started packing up all of her things to leave because there was something really fishy going on. Anyway, she paused- the phone read her text aloud to her and--
"What's wrong? I'm at the library. Some douche is sprinkling water on me."
The phone would translate her speech to text with 100% accuracy. Technology was pretty nifty.
But as soon as she stepped out of the library...there was a huge amount of background noise. Actually, there were thunderous footsteps as if everyone was hurrying to a different location. She stood at the door, Burrito standing completely still, awaiting his master's orders. Was it a passing period...? She didn't remember hearing the bell ring...

Children started racing around after seeing everything ice over and two strangers walk through the door in armor. I rushed into the panic and hollered at the students:
"Get into a classroom and close the door. Don't panic. Do not push one another. Help those who have fallen. Get to a classroom!"
Hopefully my orders would not go unheeded.

Rai would raise an eyebrow to the strange German fellow in the middle of the cafeteria, and then again at the people wearing Armor that entered. This all seemed too familiar... But throwing all that aside he would choose to lean back against the cafeteria wall and watch.

Emily was down the side all, directly to the left of the people that had come in. She took a step, then another, her feet sliding just a little. She frowned....it was like the lake back when....she saw a few images of the back of her fathers head- the first since he was killed where it wasn't twisted around. He was sliding out in front of her on skates. On the lake at his summer home. Tapping her feet and adjusting her stance, she started lazily skating forward, the corner of her mouth coming up a little in a smile, hand popping the pill into her mouth to rest under her tongue. She'd skate all down the hall then turn, sliding through with enough momentum to carry her directly in front of those armored mysteries standing in the doorway.
And with the turn, she was facing them both.
"Hi."
Emily's smile had been tucked away, her enjoyment enough to put the School Captain in good spirits. She wore her black "CAPTAIN" sweater, hands at her sides as she watched them with mild amusement. Where had she seen that armor before....she knew she saw it somewhere. She refocused on them, deciding to let her mind pull it out later.
So far, having not looked behind her, she didn't know her Pillars were there with her.

Levi stood up as the doors opened, revealing nothing odd outside and the two people walked in, staring at them incredulously.
Where the fuck did these guys come from?
They had an odd appearance and stood out almost impossibly so. The Asian stood up and walked next to Emily, ignoring the panicking crowd and stopping where she did and speaking to them after she had.
"Interesting armor...I take it you don't go here...
An obvious statement, but he needed information and they were the only ones who would likely be able to get it to him.

The situation was gradually increasing in threat level, as Arathorn noticed. It became cold to the point where a couple students yelled at something or someone. One of them was Violet, he knew that for sure. The other was... well she yelled something about a burrito and had quite the strong accent. Well that was beside the point.
When walls and floors start freezing over, that's usually not a good sign. It was quite ironic the fact that when things began to freeze over, that's when things began to heat up. One even put on some golden armor, accompanied by one who had golden hair as if from a fairy tale.
At that point, two people, a male and female, walked in wearing armor quite similar to that of the gold one's. It was also the point where people panicked, running in fear, causing those with less fear to stand out. Some ran straight towards it; one being the School Captain, who he had heard was named Emily and who no doubt had enough ferocity to take anyone on, the fighting in the squabble with 260 indubitably being evidence of her skills; and the other a seemingly Oriental character with what appeared to be two Yakuza sleeve tattoos.. he wasn't Yakuza however, or else he wouldn't be here. Nonetheless, the man looked built enough for taking someone on, and the fact that he was brave enough to run head on into them was quite the evidence of his character.
Others ran neither away nor toward, yet didn't run at all. One of them being someone Arathorn recognized, Mr. Sudeki, who leaned up against a somewhat nearby wall. He had never seem him fight, not physically anyway, but he definitely was someone Arathorn knew was not wise too piss off. Of course, with the rumors of powers and the fact that he had his own powers meant that the flash Arathorn caught in Mr. Rai's eye the other day was a hint at a power that most likely would not be a good thing to have unleashed upon onself. So if Mr. Raikotsu did decide to take action, Arathorn knew it'd be far from a blood bath, at least not on the History teacher's side. And then there was the other one who stayed behind, one clothed in shadows; her attire was pitch black from head to toe. Arathorn hadn't witnessed hardly anything of hers yet, but right now all he witnessed was that she had quite the interest for books if she ignored all this to read one. Or so it seemed, anyway.
While all of this went through his thought process, Arathorn picked up his steak knife, scraped off the remaining food with his fork into a nearby trashcan, and hid the knife under his sleeve. This could prove to be rather useful. he thought to himself. Once he had finished assessing those who were there, he assessed what he could use in case of emergency. Of course, it was a cafeteria, so if need be, there were plenty of silverware. Few steak knives dotted the table, unfortunately, however butter knives were quite frequent, along with forks.
Well this was all just a back up plan. For now, he would just remain with the same plan Rai and the shadowed female seemed to have in mind, similar to that of his own father's: Sit back, watch, and wait.

EVEN WITH THESE CHAINS
you can't stop me It felt good to have a mutual combatant in the war against spoiled meals as Violet made note of Stevie-Ray off to the side joining her in the rallied cries of their poor meals. Her attention to this rallied cry of revolution only shattered by the vibration going off in her breast-coat pocket. Slipping her free hand in to retrieve her phone Violet would read:
Yeah Violet had a bad feeling as well, lunch was about to get ruined. At that very instant two distinct bodies made their appearances to the room, they'd be head to toe with some unique armor adorned on now wasn't that strange. Now in any protagonist's mind there'd be an obvious correlation. Vi however would draw a blank speedily texting back.
Stevie-Ray would quickly close the gap on her directing the need for a plan. Good timing on her, Vi however not so much. She hadn't the slightest as to what was causing this mischief although she was beginning to get a clearer picture as a number of notable faces confronted the armored students that entered the room. With that Vi would give a "knowing glance" at Stevie-Ray requesting a little backup...
"YOUUUU!!!" She'd bellow from the back of the room with an insane glower on her face.
"You seem like two well about folks whats with the temperature and could you please tell me why the foods going to get all soggy?" Her features instantly changing to sweet and concerned for the collective student body's lunch time.

Krane would finish putting on the greaves and gauntlets before turning to look at Melanie.
"My family does not like my progress."
With that Krane would bend low and move through the crowed best he could before leaping at the side of the one with purple hair aiming a swinging elbow strike for the face!

The female would look to those who stood before them and smile.
"Hello. Where is the beast?"
And as if on cue Krane's assault would come for the male who turned reached up and
[Perception Check: All Fail]
they would see Krane hurled across the room and slam into the wall. He would be fairly injured, mostly his attacking arm, there was blood.
"Still weak, cousin." Would be the male's response.

Emily would watch Kranes body fly, her head snapping to follow the movement of his attack and damage. Then, her eyes came back to the two here. They swatted him aside like a fly. She reached up and gently pulled down her hood, her hair flopping out to cascade down her back. She surmised they were as strong....possibly stronger than her- their cool confidence and lazy attitude in knocking him aside said as much. She wondered, for a moment, if getting beaten in front of her Pillars would send the wrong message.
But then again, she never was one to give a shit about that.
Crunching the pill she put in her mouth earlier, she activated her jacket, and her fist shimmered with a dark aura.
"I wish you hadn't done that."
She would burst forward, intent to throw that right handed punch into the left cheek of the man that had destroyed Krane. If it missed, a left-kick would follow up, aiming for his likely-exposed right ribcage, assuming he had tried to block. If her shadow fist hit home, she would look over at the second one. The female.
"No fighting on school grounds."

---The white-haired man's hands continued to glow, brighter, and brighter, and the unmistakable sound of ice... cracking, forming, was heard. Ice pillars began to form, following after the white-haired man's hands as he slowly raised them, turning them, twisting them... surrounding his body with it... Off the thick "ice vines" ice leaves began to form, and the white-haired man's eye began to strain, shaking, his breathing becoming labored.
"Oahhhhhh... dude, that's pretty---"
"We're supposed to be fucking afraid of something like that?" the camo-wearing man cut off, gaining a spiteful looking from the long-haired brunette. In response, he leered at her and hefted up his metal pipe onto his shoulder, tapping it, blatantly with testosterone-filled intent.
...A disturbing chuckle came from the teal-haired, wheel chair man.
"Zen vy don't you try attacking him? Go for it, you should be able to handle zat... right?" he seemed to shoot up a spiteful glare at the white-haired man, who, at the words of being attacked, shot up his eyes to look at them.
The camo-wearing man grinned.
"Oh-hohohoho... fuckin'... I'll shatter that all in one fuckin' blow! DON'T FUCKIN' HATE ME NOW!"
Suddenly charging forward, whipping his metal pipe at the ice-haired man, the sound of ice shattering---cracking... metal scraping...
From where the vines once where, the metal was stuck in a deep layer of ice that seemed to project itself over a good half-foot in front of the white-haired man's targeted arm... who grinned darkly.
"Mein turn," he whispered quietly.
In an instant, the white-haired man clenched his fist and cold air and water condensed over it, making for a thick ice gauntlet, but without any weight or heft, thrust his packed fist to the camo man's face---
"AUUUUGHHHh
"AHHHHHHGHH
"AHGHHHGHGh---?"
The camo man's normally spiky hair had been completely flattened onto his head, all the doors bursting open. There was a thin layer of frost that had developed... everywhere. The white-haired man stared down his own fist, a thick pillar of solid ice, milimeters away from the camo man's tall, narrow face.
Richard could feel his entire back just drenched with sweat. Any closer, if it had connected... that head would have come off... rolling.
Everyone was quiet.
...Untli the teal-haired man just started laughing. Harshly.
"...Und zat ist just a fraction of what a Qi user could be. Normal people can fight normal people. Qi users and potential users are usually worth ten... or a hundred men or more, depending.
"For normal people such as yourself... das best zing du can do ist prepare. Trap. Plan... Ve vill arm du vith das tools as 'Normals' to fight against das monsters. To plan against das monsters. To defend against das monsters. To survive against das monsters.
"It ist for reasons like zis zat ve shall never openly oppose das Dragons. It ist for reasons like zis, zat he," he said, pointing blatantly at the white-haired man who was now letting the ice naturally dissolve, shatter, and break off him, "...chooses to absorb das attacks of das Gods, Godly-talented Qi users among men. Psychos. Sadists. God-complexed."
"Ve cannot use haste. Ve must be patient. Ve shall teach du, instruct du. Ve shall break down our enemies gradually... bit by bit.
"Heed mein warnings vell, for if du do not, your best option...
"...ist to run."
The inside of Richard's jacket was covered in a cold sweat, amplifying the rapidly cooling temperatures.
A time that did not exist. That should not exist. Correction: Should not have existed. Yet two, unmistakable figures walked through those cafeteria doors, the berth of the room suddenly receiving them in silence. Ice and frost visibly grew on the buildings, the tables, the floors...
And then they spoke. And they used those... condescending, archaic, old-timey words. Words that he had heard, spoken by men and women in strangely curving and colored armors. A people their people had to ally with... out of necessity. Talented monsters who walked among the earth, with a strange focus on PHS #259. People had attacked them in another city, again and again and again, each time stronger, each time with stranger and more alien tactics, pushed back only by the brutality of the school members of 259.
Memories that belonged to over dozen of a dozen hundred dreams, bits and pieces falling together.
What Richard Stock felt was fear. A deep-rooted fear that belonged to a man more than twice his own age.
"YOU SHOULD NOT EXIST"---he did not shout. Because that was not the man who Richard Stock was. Instead he watched.
Teachings that belonged to another man floated into his head. But Richard was just a Freshmen with little to no influence here, no men to command... unlike him.
The first wave was beginning, and the two, just by appearing send the entire cafeteria into a panicked frenzy. Clearly the worms they were talking about were them, the students. The frost spread was a show of subtle force that displayed perhaps only a breadth of their power, and fear was in the hearts of many a 259 student. Already, all escape routes were flooded and choked with a stampede, and Richard, fearing the worst, finally got an answer on his phone. And then another.
Before him Violet and Stevie-Rae had already stood at the forefront between the two armored individuals and the mass of students that were panicking, scrambling to get away, stomping over each other. They could sense it too---these intruders were far from ordinary. Familiar voices of authority called out, calling for order...
He checked his phone. SJ was okay. If anything, better that she was in the library. And then Violet took the time to respond in kind...
He was about to respond when Emily and an Asian unknown to him stood even further, directly in front of the armored intruders. He took a survey about, noting those who had stayed behind. Melanie was present. And then there were those who seemed to have a sense of duty towards the school aside from the Pillars and the S.H.C.P. A white haired boy. A teenager about their age... also wearing golden armor?
'Oh no.'
Violet had already begun trying to talk them down, when the golden-armored one snuck around all four of the vanguard (Emily, the unknown Asian, Vioet, and Stevie-Rae), raced up to strike the armored male---
---With speed much too quick for Richard's eyes to follow, he watched the golden-armored boy get flung to a wall with a sudden speed.
His fingers moved.
He wasn't the boss of SJ, as he had learned, she would ultimately do whatever she wanted to do, especially if more armored... Qi users came. But right now, he saw a threat in front of himself. And worst of all... if they called 911, it would mean that the Student Hierarchy had failed to be powerful enough to keep its school safe and would put 259 itself at risk.
He would rush over to the Golden-Armored boy and begin checking him out. Errant memories moved his hands to check for broken bones, to see if it was safe to move him... but there was more than him. There were the trampled students. He needed help.
"MEDICAL ASSIST," he roared out in an uncharacteristic voice. A nurse. An R.O.P. student with medical training.
This golden armored boy needed to get up now. Richard had no doubts they needed everyone brave enough to help fight these two off.
He'd stand up, his attention split, glaring heatedly at the two armored monsters, even as the ice continued to crawl at them. Especially as the ice continued.
"DON'T SLIP, KEEP FOOTING," he roared in haiku, reminding the four vanguard to be aware of their surroundings.
"DON'T HURT HANDS ON THE ARMOR," he shouted to remind them of the enemy's natural advantage.
"KNOCK THEM PRONE, VULNERABLE," he growled... because although these people were probably trained to fight in armor, that meant that they trained to mitigate the weaknesses of wearing armor---losing balance.
Knocking over a table as some makeshift half-cover for the Golden-armored boy, he too also crouched, peeking. Observing. Perhaps this was how he was to contribute to this battle.
They would need to come together group would need to come together. NOW..

EVEN WITH THESE CHAINS
you can't stop me Violet didn't know just how to respond at this point her posture atop the table and hues dashing daringly at the pair just the same with her extended index finger out judgingly. Though she'd reclined into her calm frame of questioning just as quickly going unanswered when the pair made light of the monster Krane that she'd run into earlier. Though he'd "gone down easily" before she never really pinned him as an easy mark, and thus made the pair even more frightening.
"Daaaannng." Her hues following the boy as he was launched about the room, her attention quick to follow Emily follow up with a strike against the pair. Violet flinched, she was more than willing to join Emily in combat against them but she wasn't sure how to proceed while paired only one had made a threat against them physically the other remained. Violet would make her approach swiftly in front of her placing a hand on her shoulder or at least attempting to softly.
"Please stop this now." Violet would try to appeal to her softly at least at first.

Well, this was making it fucking impossible to read. Sighing very loudly and with great irritation Wren put her book down--just in time to see a third person wearing armour (??) go flying into an adjacent wall.
Her eyebrows popped up in shock. Okay. Probably not a school play. Unless... they were really into drama at this school? She started to stand up in her seat to get a better look at the kid slumped against the wall.
sqiiiiik
The heels of her boots slid along the floor, the icey surface eliminating the friction under the thick platform soles. Wren grabbed the table and steadied herself, brows pinching together in the middle of her forehead in pure confusion. When did the school become a skating rink? Was it...
She looked across her to the group gathered around the armoured pair near the door. Was it them?
A sudden VERY LOUD BELLOW from a young blonde kid with a British accent made Wren jump, tearing her wide-eyed gaze away from the possible source of the ice to where the third armoured asshole lay bleeding. Medical Assistance?
Sighing, Wren snatched up her bag and stalked over to where the young blonde kid was, "Oh my god, fine," She huffed as she dropped to her knees, frowning at the bite of the ice through her thin pants. She spared the... surprisingly short blonde kid a quick glance (Was that haiku?) before looking back at the young man wearing armour, eyeing the blood dribbling through the bends in his armour with a slight curl of her lip that could have been a wince if she wasn't glaring at the same time.
At this point, she had no idea what was going on, or how these two freaks were so strong as to be able to literally fling a man against a wall to the point of damaging him this badly. There was a part of her mind that screamed with confusion, with fear. This was nothing like her old school. But things were moving and now, for some stupid reason, she was involved whether she liked it or not.
Which she did not.
She reached up to lift away the kid's armour to examine his injuries, if she could, intent on distracting herself from the spark of hysteria burning in her mind by focusing on what was in front of her and doing what she could to prevent him from dying.[OOC: WREN EXAMINES KRANG... I MEAN KRANE'S INJURIES!]

Gold streaked across the atmosphere; a student wearing golden armor was flicked across the room as if he was Daniel up against a Goliath. In turn, many began to attack, and now Arathorn kicked it into gear. His eyes became hinted with determination as he thought the situation through in his head.
At the moment there were two enemies, seven allies, potentially eight if Mr. Sudeki joined in. For now, two were on the offense. Two were on the defense. One was down. The remaining were pending. So, Arathorn decided to attempt both defense and offense.
After taking a few steps to get the hang of the newly-developed ice rink, Arathorn started dashing toward the downed armored student that was now behind a defensive table, grabbing every knife he could find along the way and anything else he could use to throw.
He skidded alongside the dirty blonde assisting the downed comrade and the dark dressed girl as he began speaking, "My name's Arathorn and I'm going to try my best to defend you both as you help out the injured. If you need me anywhere else just let me know." He was behind the sideways table in an alert standing position, facing the enemy. He had a knife in each hand, ready to be thrown. He didn't have his handy rifle, so he had to make do with what he had.
