Zio watched as ichimaru began to punch the tree branches. Zio jumped forward to a nearby branch and automatically regretted it. The ranch fell as soon as his foot touched it. Zio extended his arm and caught a branch. His finger sent a wave of firey pain as the broken finger latched onto the branch. "Ugh!" gritted zio through his teeth. He pulled himself up and looked at the other branches. "Damn..I forgot which branches he hit. Screw it, gotta try something." said zio looking around. He smiled and stretched towards another branch. Zio gripped the branch he was standing on with his legs and bent it backward, while using a nearby branch as support. ZIo shifted his weight on the branch and released his hold on the nearby branch. THe young warrior was flung forward towards ichimaru. Zio raised his fist, ready to connect with a punch.

ichimaru saw this punch, remembering what veyugan said about one dimentonal attacks. ichimaru saw this so he moved a bit out of the way on the branch and when zio would be where he was supposed to connect with him, he would kick virticly to hit him in the chest hard, but no Qi in the kick. if it didnt work he was sure the lapes from the kick would snap the branch and he'd fall.

Zio was kicked hard in the chest, sending him straight up into another branch. The air was knocked out of zios lungs, leaving the young warrior a bit dazed. His body began to fall back down towards ichimaru. "Hell no." mumbled zio as he caught onto the branch his back had hit a few minutes earlier. Zio looked around and decided it was worth a shot. He twisted his body and got onto the top of the branch he was on. Zio delivered two punches to the branch, causing his knuckles to peel and bleed a little. With a grunt he smashed his feet into the branch, causing it to splinter. Zio grabbed a hold of the branch before it fell. His fingers ached from using the bark of the tree as something to grip on. With one hand, zio used the branch as a pole-arm and went to attack ichimaru with the branch.

ichimaru moved closer to the trunk of the tree consentrating on his foot to use his Qi and tried to kick the branch zio was trying to jab with. if it connected he would find it a bit of a surprise when the weight would drag him down faster, if the kick landed it would send him a bit to one side where the branches where small and few, if it missed he would be open for another attack.

Zio felt the vibration move throughout the branch-like-polearm. The weight of it doubled, causing zios arms to feel over stretched. "Ugh!" gritted zio through his teeth as the skin from his fingers began to peel from gripping the tree bark. Zio began to slowly swing the branch from left to right. With a small amount of momentum, zio launched the branch horizontally. The branches below began to creak from the weight of the falling branch. Zio watched and waited. As ichimaru moved zio would lunge right after him.

smiling, he was having fun, and zio was doing very well. he decided to consentrate with his feet for his Qi skill so he could jump from tree limb to tree limb, choosing random ones on his path so if zio accidently stepped on one without relizing it, he could get hurt, but after that little stunt ichimaru wouldnt be able to use his Qi for the rest of the fight. so if zio did follow right behind he would be screwed unless he found an interesting way to get to him.

Zio saw ichimaru jumping from branch to branch. "By the time this fight is over there won't be any branches." said zio. Then it hit him. "Heh. Well if there are no branches, then there will be no escape for him." said zio. He looked around him trying to plot out a path that will lead them to the topmost branch. "The branch I dropped took out some of the lower branches. So if I break the branches as I make my way to him, he will be forced into battle." said zio as he lunged forward. As his foot hit the branch, it gave way. Zios fingers gripped the tree bark, causing him to come to a sliding stop. Blood trickled from his fingers down his arm. "Going to need some new bandages." grimaced zio. He looked at the other branches and wondered. "He must've used that same trick on some of the other branches. I must be careful." said zio. He looked around and landed on a lower branch.
"I could use the same spring trick to get to him, but no guarantee I will catch up to him. Hmmm...This tree has strong bark. I could use the grips of my sandals to help latch onto the tree. But It will only be for a second. I gotta move quick!" exclaimed zio. The young warrior began to jump from stable branch to the remnants of splintered branches that were still attached to the tree. "Gotta drive him up." said zio as he delivered a bunch to the base of a branch, causing it to break. His fists felt numb. If there was any pain, he couldn't feel it.

he was continueing up when he heard the first branch snap, meaning his trick would work, just in case, ichimaru pressed himself close to the trunk of the tree, waiting to hear any noise on either direction and then nail a kick at his chest as he rounded the trunk. if ichimaru missed he would have to catch himself on a branch and in the moment he may forget what branches he messed with.

Zio delivered a punch to another branch, sending it crashing to the ground. His feet landed on a small secure branch. Before he delivered a punch to it, ichimaru appeared on the branch in front of him. "I think we're going to go to jail for either vandalism or deforestation." said zio with a smile. He extended his feet to give himself some balance and looked at ichimaru. He could feel his hand bleeding, but he'll deal with it later. "I must say I've enjoyed this spar with you. It's the most fun I've had in weeks." said zio.

smiling back "i'm sure we can run fast enough, and i'm glad your enjoying this so much" he said hapily, he figured that going any higher would be a mistake so he stood his treelimb and motining for zio to get over here. ichimaru wasnt sure how this would go but it seemed that this fight was wearing on zio's hands a bit more thain his own. he was considering requesting this be a draw, but he was having too much fun and he was sure zio was too.

Zio took in a deep breath and tried to clear his mind. his heart was beating fast due to jumping from branch to branch. He looked at ichimarus branch and then back to his own. Zio tiptoed towards the edge of his own branch, causing it to bend a little. The young warrior had a quick thought. Probably not the smartest, but it was worth a shot. Zio planted his feet on the sides of the branch and began to jump up and down. After the third jump zio twisted the branch to the side, causing it to latch onto ichimarus branch. "Thank god for smaller branches on the stronger ones." said zio. Zio slowly tiptoed towards ichimaru.

smiling, he jumped a bit, lifting his feet as high as he could and pounded them down causing the branch to splinter and snap from the tree trunk, ichimaru put hits bootheels to the bark to slow himself a bit untill he caught onto a lower branch, one of the few remaining ones at the lower end. ichimaru waited for zio to be in the middle so the flexable branch zio used to try and walk would slingshot him back and probrably snap the branch too.

The broken branch bent down the branch zio was on. The Moving caused zio to fall off the branch and down towards the lower branches. His body connected with a lower branch causing him to moan. He slowly looked up and noticed the branch making its way down towards him. "not good!" yelled zio. He quickly rolled over and placed his hands on the branch, causing his body to loop around the branch. As his body went for a second loop around the branch, his feet connected with the heavy falling branch, sending it flying towards ichimaru.

he let his legs unhinge and he landed in something like a sitting position, he caught the branch, was swung by the momentum, tearing his pants and a bit of his skin on the tough bark, and sent the treelimb back at zio having it keep all its previous momentum plus what he put into it as the threw it. ichimaru's hands wherent in the best conditon after that, and he figured zio was getting tired as well as a bit numb.

Zio landed back onto his branch, only to see an incoming broken branch. "Not again." groaned zio. The young warrior jumped down and placed his sandals onto the tree bark. With a twinge of pain, zio slid down towards the ground. His feet finally connected with the ground. Zio looked up and saw the branch still coming down. Zio went to run out of the reach of the branch but tripped over all the other branches that fell. Zio looked up and felt a twinge of horror as the branch came closer. He closed his eyes and waited for the branch to crush him. But nothing came. No pain, no loss of conciousness. He looked up and noticed that the branch had been caught in between a few other branches.
A shaky sigh of relief exited zios lungs as he looked around. "How about calling it a draw?" asked zio looking up at ichimaru.
