Of course his version of sharing was letting off steam. Possibly injuring some fools.

Melanie looked back up, her eyes searched the room. She didn't think she could share anything. Not now. There was just so much. It was just too hard.
"Must be nice to be able to talk to someone. Even having someone to listen to you. Someone that wants to help."
Her eyes met his for just a moment, just long enough to see the glassy appearance of tears, before her eyes darted down. Melanie let out a loud laugh and bounded up out of her chair.
"Man, we sound like a bunch of girls. Complaining about life and wishing for something better."
Her voice still shook noticeably as she looked out one of the windows at a small group of kids surrounding a fight between two. There might be a bloody nose. Nothing worse than that. A distraction. Perfect. But she didn't want to go. She wanted Krane to be there behind her, holding her so she could finally cry. So she could finally let everything out.
