His weight shifted when John lifted up his leg, pushing forward with his body to try and floor the man and land on top of him. Bonus points if he could bring his blade down to his throat. The shifting of his hips and weight would let the hammer slam into his thigh, but miss his precious genitals for the time being. But he'd be going down, whether or not John went with him, as he was quickly proving he was fully committed to his attack. "I don't care." He'd say flatly, Qi use 4/7 attack 27 |

"Shit." Was what he got out when the guy pushed forward, John kept pushing the foot forward to push on Blake's pelvis using the hammer mostly as leverage at this point to hopefully toss Blake away or push him off. His free hand would go to punch the hand holding the sword at the wrist before it got near his neck in case pushing Blake off by lifting him up didn't work. His fist would ignite into fire as it struck causing a small flare up of the fire. John wasn't a martial artist and it likely showed. He was a street brawler with powers. Blake on the other hand was a trained warrior and it showed. John's usual policy of punch until it stops moving wasn't working, so instinct took over. Blazing Strike: John ignites a point of his attacks in an intense fire adding 1/2 his Energy to his Attack.
Attack Strength: 26

His monster wrist flared up with the strike, his grip loosening on the hilt only for an instant before the clawed hand redoubled it's grip. The smell of searing flesh filled Blake's nostrils as he forced his hand forward against John's attempts to push him away. He was fine with a battle of strength, even as the man's foot and hammer ground into his pelvis. His bones would probably be bruised after this, but John would know not to fuck with him. John grit his teeth in frustration at the guys persistence.
"... Alright."
He finally said seething a bit through his teeth before taking a better breath through his struggle.

He'd slam his monster hand forward once more to try and clip John in the face with the hilt of his blade before pushing himself off of him, satisfied that the guy was calling it. "Good." Qi use 5/7 attack 27 He'd let himself take several calming breaths as he tried to unboil his blood. His brows knitting together in visible effort as he tried to will away the inner beast that was bursting out of his arm. Slowly, far slower than it formed his arm would shrink and untwist back to a human form. Then and only then would he sheathe his blade. |

John would note the disrespectful strike causing stars to roll around in his vision for a minute though he wouldn't allow it to slow him down in standing up. It'd just look a bit wobbly. Clutching at the cut on his abdomen he'd sneer before looking to Blake and chuckling.
"Tch, good fight. See ya around, Beast King. You can be sure of that."
John would walk away, heading for the infirmary and the TIME office to turn himself in.

Approved. Both parties gain +1 exp. Bonus objective achieved. John: +3 exp, ' I still have all ten fingers' shirt. First blow John takes to the chest automatically backlashes the damage onto his opponent, with no damage done to him. Activates only once per thread, John must state in his opening post that he is wearing this shirt. Blake: +3 exp, ' My baby maker is still fully operational' protective cup. All blows to the groin do half normal attack damage. |
