Krane grinned as the beam came towards him. Four nearly invisible tendrils sprung from his back arcing over his form and catching the energy, rotating it around and firing it back at Blake, though while that was going on with his hands to the ice another tendril sprung from the ice floor behind Blake intent on whipping him in the back towards his rebounded blast! Krane wasn't finished there, as soon as he knew if it worked or not he would stand reaching out with both hands causing the field of ice and snow to shatter, forming a diamond dust effect before closing his hands together, causing the whole field to come crashing in from all directions directly into Blake! Protection Form: Krane spreads an ice sheet within a 20 ft area. Within this area he can use his "Arm of The Kraken" ability through the ice by kneeling down and touching the sheet with his hands. 4/8 Arm of the Kraken: Krane is able to generate a tentacle limb from his body that can hit someone with the Attack of his Energy stat. 5/8 DMG: 31 Crushing Form: After casting "Protection Form" Krane can shatter the ice sheet field and callapse it all on a single target doing his energy stat plus half his energy stat in damage. 6/8 DMG: 46 Kraken Armor: +4 Def, +6 Eng The golden body armor of The Gods bestowed upon him by his father, Hades. To be the monster he was meant to be. Power: Can catch an offensive Qi attack up to Krane's Full Energy using 4 near invisible tentacles and launch it back. Can be used once per thread. *USED*

Well, that was a new one. Even for freaks. He hadn't expected the guy to be able to direct his blast back at him. And being snapped by a tendril to the blast while the battlefield erupted around him offered him very little options. He was going to have to take it but he'd do the best he could to bring his monster arm up to cover his face from the shards of ice so he could protect his vision. Even as his energy blast hit him in the chest where it had burned him coming out. He'd cry out as the blast seared his flesh and the shards cut his flesh, blood staining the ice shards and cement around him as he hit the ground with a thud. His chest hurt. His body hurt. And the pounding in his head and arm grew in intensity. He felt some of the cuts starting to knit up over his body as he lay on the ground. And with some effort, he'd roll over, grunting as he slammed his human arm into the ground to lift himself up. His lips curling back to bare his teeth as he slowly picked himself up, his eyes staring at the gold armored man, burning intently. He refused to just give up over such a small thing as being weaker. He'd overcome or die trying! That was his way. Qi Use 6/10

Krane would watch, lifting a hand to cover the wound on his shoulder, blood staining the gold as it oozed down his armor. Sneering at the pain as he walked towards Blake, who was standing from the damage. Krane stopped some feet away so as to not catch a random attack in the face. Turning so his good side could see Blake totally.
"If it matters to you, you have more than earned my respect as a warrior."
Krane could feel he was low on energy. He would continue if Blake felt the need, but he felt this battle had reached it's decision. Injuring each other further would be foolish.

He'd spit to the side, blood oozing from his mouth as he brought his blade up, but he'd not strike. Not yet. His wounds continuing to slowly knit themselves back together as he watched the man. Just out of sword reach, even with a lunge. Smart move, because if there had been an opening Blake would take it. He weighed his options, the guy had him outmatched. And the chances of him winning were low. His pride wanted him to continue and the energy surging from his arm screamed for the man's blood. To drop the sword and to claw out his other eye. It was almost enough to fog over his mind and give into the battle lust. It took an effort to remember just what he was trying to accomplish. In the end, it was the word choice that Krane used. Warrior. In the end, he'd sheathe his blade and stare at his fiendish arm. Trying to will it back to human form. Though this time it refused to budge. A cause of some concern as his brows knitted together in an effort as he willed it back. And slowly, agonizingly slowly it would shift back. Fighting him every step of the way. "You manage your handicap well." He meant the eye. Qi use 7/10 Ongoing damage 4/4

Watching and staying where he was, he wouldn't straighten until the blade was placed back in it's sheath. Watching him power down, and put the monstrous arm away he shifted a bit when his eye was brought up, reaching a non blood covered hand up to run over the scar, kind of a non voluntary action whenever it came up in conversation, or he was having difficulty with something. He'd put both hands down doing his best to ignore his shoulder.
"I had to get used to it being raised in Territory 241. The Gods don't go easy on the weak or deformed. They push twice as hard."

"Never heard of them."
He'd grunt, the last bit of his arm fully human finally. Though he still felt the blood pounding through it as if it was larger. Something that had never happened before.

Krane would nod, rolling the shoulder with the cut tsking at the pain before responding to Blake.
"As is normal. They may run that territory, but they are still subsidiary to 259."
He'd shrug and move to remove is chest plate. Ripping some of his shirt to tie tightly on the wound to compress and stop the bleeding before he visited the infirmary.
"Interesting healing ability."

"It's functional."
Kind of his way of saying it was pretty cool. But he still would rather not have it and be normal. The good was just as bad as the bad when it came to his power. Or powers in general. It was a stark difference between him and humanity. A divide that he couldn't help but see when he looked into the mirror.
"How do your people feel about being beholden to another?"

Krane scratched his chin after wrapping the shoulder listening to the question.
"In general I'd say content. I don't suspect my father to sit idle should treaties and promises not be upheld. Such is the way of politics and agreements. Not my way. My role is as a tool of destruction to be pointed. Let the talkers have their fun and I will have mine."
Krane said in finality, though he suspected if anything happened to his father it would be between himself, his brother, or his sister to take up the mantle, of which he would deny vehemently.

He nodded.
"On that, we have in common."
He might even start to like this guy.

The gold armored male would nod at the understanding they had reached and take a deep inhale, rubbing his hand over the scar once more as he thought it out.
"I would accept you for the Command Squad if you wished to join it, but I would need to utilize you as a weapon for Cabal."

"That's what I am. An arrow loosed from my Master's bow. The arrow cares not about how it will be retrieved, only that it strikes its mark."
He could be a weapon. That's what he was.
"As long as you know My Elders always come first, I accept."
It would be a sense of normalcy.

Krane would nod, that was acceptable. He did not foresee there being an issue with Blake's elders involved, and even then he knew where Blake stood int he situation which made it easier.
"Very well, I'll let the administration know of your appointment."

"Understood."
With that business settled he'd turn and head back toward the infirmary. He should probably make sure his organs were alright. Though he'd keep this business about his arm to himself. That was something for him to figure out.
