When Arcenus leaped toward him with impressive speed Eric would slap his right arm as he punched toward the launched Prota soldier. The stone armor covering his flesh shifting into a small pointed spike that he would attempt to slam into the man's chest as they collided. Either way, Eric would be sent flying toward the buildings, hopefully with an impaled soldier in toe!

Stone Skin - Eric manipulates a thin layer of stone over his body to act as armor. 1/2 energy stat added to his defense.

Stone Strike - Eric hits the ground and the shockwave sends out small pillars or projectiles of stone at his foe. 1/4th energy stat added to his attack.

The movements were too fast for either to keep up with really, so he was impaled, the surprise of it, numbed some of the pain, combined with the speed, Arcenus would use the wind to slice it off from Eric's wrist. Crashing through the building Arcenus would decide to release and kick off Eric to smash into some other building instead. Staggering out of the building ripping the spike from his chest he breathed heavy, labored. Looking around. The other soldiers came running and would grab Arcenus to keep him and Eric apart. One of the female soldiers would rush to check on Eric, to see if he had fallen, or if he was ready to continue.

Eric was picking himself up and brushing himself off by the time the female soldier came to check on him. His shirt was probably a lost cause, and the stone around his body was spiderwebbed with cracks. But his injuries seemed to be minor and superficial. Not like he'd been stabbed or anything. The tattoo on his arm, however, was far more visible now with larger parts of stone missing and his sleeves ripped to shreds.

Glistening scales of a serpent coiled up his arm as he eyed the soldier.

"I trust you are not planning to interfere."

His voice had an edge of warning to it. It would be wise if she did not.

The soldiers eyes narrowed at the state of affairs currently. Looking back at the group holding Arcenus up at this point as his regeneration worked its stuff to fill and stop the bleeding of the wound, he would survive, but there would be much recovery needed. Peering back on Eric she would shake her head.

"Negative. I came to see if you were still standing. As you are, you have won the day. Prota will hold it's end of the deal with the Command Captain and leave this territory."

"Then by all means."

He'd gesture with his arm outward, a signal for them to show themselves out. He'd watch them go before turning back to the crowd of civilians, and more importantly his coat and shoes. He'd like to get dressed properly, as much as he could at least. But it appeared he had been wise to take off his coat, he would have hated to have it ripped to shreds like his shirt had been...

She would turn and walk to the group which would then leave, restraining Arcenus as much as holding him up. Rather upset with his loss. The civilians however, were still in shock, unsure of what to do or how to take this. His clothes would be where he left them.

Once he was dressed and as presentable as could be he would turn to the Swordsman and fold his arms over his chest.

"So, I trust our agreement stands as well?"

[Leon]

Weigrif's own arms had been folded, observing the entire match as it unfolded. A rumble came from his throat as he hummed up to speaking.

"Very well. I will inform my Liege Lord of the deal and see that you are given appropriate sharing control."

[Mathew Amtrum]

"Excellent. I wish to go over the current data and capabilities they are currently capable of."

There was no time like the present to start, and if that meant he'd go to this meeting with the lord. Well, good.

[Leon]

Weigrif would unfold his arms and nod.

"Very well, you can have your arm tended to as well."

He would lead Eric out of town and up a hill that was slightly wooded.

"It was something to see one of the Dragon Core in action once more. Didn't see them much, but when I did it was something to behold."

He nodded at the offer to have his arm looked at as he followed Weigrif.

"The Core was the best for a reason. We know what we are capable of and deliver exactly what we say we will. Be it a threat or a promise."

[Leon]

Weigrif didn't respond to the matter of fact statement from Eric. Moving on, in fact they would come across a couple of patrolling Black Ops individuals who would simply eye Eric and watch. Wearing some sort of black leather armor over a cloth underlay, though it would be hard to tell exactly from the distance. A short while after that they would come upon the compound, which had fake canopy tree's covering the top similar to the tree's surrounding them.

"We also patrol the Qi Beast population near by with the Hunters to keep the area safe for us."

He was perfectly comfortable taking in the silence, following behind his guide with his hands gently clasping each other behind his back. He'd take it as an opportunity to observe the territory further, count the patrols and size of them. Making assessments over the gear they appeared to be wearing, and of course, listening when his guide chose to speak.

"And how serious is the Qi beast population in this region?"

"In the beginning it was rather large. We had some trouble clearing this out. Now though we have issues with some large cat type Qi Beasts, but the Hunters have gotten used to fighting them."

They would make it into the compound unadulterated. Eric would make out their basic gear, though recognize the underlay design now that he could get a better look at it. It was a dark pliable metal that was rather durable. It was the metal the Gods invented for the Dragon Core. The patrols are two to three people, and their weapons seem to be self forged blades of many different styles. Though obviously meant for war and damage, not looks.

"A singular pack? Or is it a widespread problem?"

Qi beasts could be tricky. It was something to keep in mind in case he chose to spend some time here. It was interesting to see however that they were using more God ingenuity, and materials made for the Dragon Core. At least at its inception.
